Boutique Hotel Dolomit

We spent eight nights in a superior deluxe room. The owners and staff were extremely hospitable and we felt very comfortable, with all information readily available from brochures and the staff, to enjoy the surroundings. The hotel sits above a lovely restaurant which serves excellent food, and is always busy with locals, especially during lunchtime. Due to the restaurant entrance being under our balcony, there was some noise late in the evening as people said their goodbyes. The rooms appear to have been updated with high quality finishings, and offer a higher standard than I would usually expect in such rural areas of Italy. As is often the case in Italy, the bed consisted of two twin beds pushed together instead of a single large double mattress. This was not what we expected and would suggest offering a proper double bed, as booking.com suggested we would get. The rooms do not have air conditioning or a refrigerator which may be concerns during summertime. Breakfast was lovely and we were also offered freshly-cooked eggs in addition to the cold buffet options. Overall, the location and service were excellent and we would wholeheartedly recommend. We spent our first night here while in town, the hosts were both incredible and we cannot say enough to how hands on and approachable they both are. The hosts made the experience legitimately feel like home, in an already unique and gorgeous boutique hotel. The hotel was extremely fresh and one of the nicest we've ever stayed. Based on how beautiful and welcoming this property and the hosts were we decided to stay an additional night just to experience the food in their restaurant and the staff and hosts. The food, os a class of it's own, it is quite incredible, they have gone out of their way to ensure an excellent experience with marvellous amenities for the guests that stay here. We will be back. We love this place! We have been coming for years every summer and we like everything about it. The owners are super nice and the personnel (both in the breakfast room and the adjacent restaurant) are always so smiling and helpful! Rooms are clean, comfortable and cute. Swimming pool is great.

What a beautiful hotel! We loved our room - Nocciola. Wide variety of vegetables and fruits at breakfast and at the restaurant. Very welcoming staff and owners. We would love to be back!

My 17yo daughter and I spent a week here and had an exceptional time. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great, fresh fruit, boiled eggs, ham, speck, cheese, bread, cereals, nuts and seeds, pastries and cake, juice and coffee. Very satisfying.|The restaurant was exceptional. We are here almost every night. The food and service were exceptional. The week was nicely rounded off by taking the resident alpacas for a walk. Highly recommended

Based on website/reviews, expected a lot from this hotel - but were somewhat disappointed. Beautiful views… good breakfast, enjoyed on-site restaurant La Tor. Absolutely no hotel orientation on arrival - just room key given. Scant amenities - had to pay extra for pool towels, sauna usage, minimal maid service, no lotion, shower gel/shampoo/hand soap all in a single dispenser by sink, no conditioner. Hard/uncomfortable mattress in ‘extra room’ for family room (Pesce). Some unfriendly touches, like signs stating hotel rules - for example, asking you to eat all you want at breakfast but not to take any items with you. Did have some friendly wait-staff at restaurant and breakfast.

Best 4 day detour! 10+ 🌟 My husband & I were on a 10 day Dolomite trek on AV1 when I unexpectedly developed altitude illness. I immediately had to abort my trek & a lovely angel on the tram coming down invited to drive us to this hotel she was staying at. We had no idea where we were going to stay. We enjoyed this lovely hotel so much we ended up staying 4 nights. This family run boutique hotel is modern, extremely welcoming, provided us personal daily recommendations of activities. Inge recommended 2 days of Ebike rides (bikes rented out here) & today an awesome 9 mile hike. The breakfast is wonderful.|Restaurant La Tor with husband chef Walter, son Phillip & daughter Yvonne is excellent! We had all of our meals here since the menu is extensive, delicious, excellent service, and friendly staff. We highly recommend your next stay here!! This family run hotel provides a unique welcoming friendly personal touch. Clearly the locals also love be restaurant La Tor. Tuesday nights, Ladin music 🎶 is also provided.
