The view of Eiger mountain from our balcony was stunning! Modern room but keep boutique style hotel. In my opinion, it’s better to book through the Hotel official website. Just one small thing, the deposit amount was very high hope to reconsider about it. Many thanks to all staff they were incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful. Definitely we will come back one day!

Beautiful property with excellent views, the staff were extremely nice and helpful. We ate at the fine dining restaurant and it was one of the best meals I have ever had. The restaurant staff were so kind and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back in the future.

We stayed in their 1 bedroom apartment which is managed similar to ABNB. Views were incredible but instructions/descriptions were poor and did not mention that, "you have to walk a 1/4 mile steep uphill to the base of the house followed by climbing 3 stories to the apartment (no elevators)". Do not rent this place if you have any physical limitations. Also plan on cleaning the place and taking out all the garbage/recycling otherwise you will be fined heavily.

Everything about this hotel is perfect. It is outside the main area of town, which provides an incredible view of the Eiger mountain. The photos from our balcony look fake because it's all so perfect. Excellent staff at the reception and restaurant. If you are coming from the train station, it is a steep walk downhill (especially with luggage). Take the city bus to the hotel (bus 123 I think), as it stops directly in front of the property. I can't wait to come back!

This has been the most beautiful hotel I have ever been in Grindelwald - what a cute small gem! The rooms have amazing views over the mountains and the modern chalet style makes everything look cozy and pleasant. The staff is really helpful and friendly, a big thanks to Shawn for his hiking tips, we had a fabulous time here. See you next summer again - à bientôt!

We are from the U.S., and this was our very first trip to Europe—we chose Switzerland, and it absolutely knocked it out of the park! This hotel was everything it claims to be and then some. The location, the staff, the food, the views—everything was beyond unreal. We could not be happier with our experience. Zadora went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She treated us with such kindness, gave us insider tips on the best hiking trails, and was always there for anything we needed. We are so grateful to her and the entire team at Boutique Glacier. We will 100% be back—thank you for making our first trip to Europe unforgettable!

Stayed in Aug 2024 for 6 nights. Everything was great, but the stand out for me was the self laundry service. It was so helpful that we were thinking why other hotels don't provide this facility!! Coming to the room, it was super spacious with an unbelievable view. Starting from the front desk to the restaurant staff, everyone greeted us with a smile and always looking out to help. Over the course of our stay, on few occasions, we had dined at their in-house restaurant, and the food (as well as the service) was top notch.

Booked a room at Hotel Glacier and was not disappointed. Our room faced the mountain, which had great views rain or shine. The staff was nice and accommodating. They had an excellent spa. Good massages too, but try to book those in advance as they only have 1 room and 1 masseuse so they fill up. We did the 7 course meal for our birthday and it was great (sit comes in a 5 course version too). Only problem for some folks will be that it is a steep walk to town, so if you have mobility issues, you will need to rent a car. It was not an issue for us so I am not penalizing them for that. Also, they have a great breakfast included!

Yelp
Where do I start with my favorite hotel I've ever stayed at? So this is in the small town of Grindelwald, and getting here by public transportation is SO easy. You can walk from the station with your luggage, it's not that bad. If you rent a car they also had parking available too! It has everything you need: amazing rooms with views, a restaurant, bar, spa, a FREE laundry room, gym. I knew coming here it would be my time to relax and not really do much as I was traveling other places before. I picked this hotel for many reasons, but basically what I listed above was it, and once I arrived, everything exceeded my already high expectations. I had room 106 and it had the LARGEST patio ever. It came with a double swing, patio seats and table, and where do I even begin with the amenities in the room. A fantastic bluetooth speaker, bathrobes, slippers, coffeemaker, cups, wine glasses, etc. It was the most comfortable room ever. Spa was hands down just as gorgeous as it looks. Seriously message me if you want me to gush more. If you plan on wanting ZERO plans and just hanging around taking advantage of the hotel, this is your spot. The staff worked so hard- Dominique I saw you each morning for my FREE (included) breakfast and she was so attentive and sweet. Roger, my massage was AMAZING. Fabulous technique! I want to hug everyone who was there for my vacation 2/21-25 THANK YOU SO MUCH! If you're on the fence, you shouldn't be! BOOK THIS NO MATTER WHAT you will feel right at home! They even gave me parting cookies at check out, like for real, you guys are just magical.

Yelp
Excellent restaurant! Michelin level service and cuisine by chef Paul Cabayé. We enjoyed a memorable five course dinner with a breathtaking view of the mountain side. Do not miss this gem in Grindelwald.

Yelp
My favorite restaurant in Grindelwald. Unique small but diverse menu, impeccable presentation, effervescent staff and owners, plus a stunning mountain side view. The flavors unique is such a way that I wondered if could be slightly improved but then realized was perfection.

Yelp
Excellent food and a great atmosphere! Tried the duck, and it was superbly done as amber. Very much worth a visit.
