Boutique Hôtel La Ciudadela Marbella

The location is perfect. The hotel is very nicely decorated, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was also delicious, only a little variety would have been desirable. The hotel staff is super friendly and attentive! We had a very nice time, thank you all very much and hope to see you again. A special thanks to Sara, who made us delicious coffee every morning.

Amazing location in the middle of old town Marbella with so much going on yet the hotel was quiet and very relaxing. The staff were more than helpful and I will almost certainly stay again when I next have a long weekend visit. Sadly we did not use the restaurant which I am told is of a very high standard as we were attending a wedding. Breakfast is very good sitting on the roof top open terrace which doubles as a bar in the evening. Thank you to all of the staff that made us feel so comfortable and welcome.

What a gem! Our flight back to Sweden got cancelled and we had to find a new hotel in a hurry. We found this hotel, and it was a true delight from the second we stepped into the reception. The service was fabulous and the room was small but really really good! The bed was lovely, the aircon was quiet, they had both hairdryer and straightener. They recommended dinner in their other place -it was a fantastic restaurant!! And the breakfast, I am amazed that absolutely everything was awesome!! War recommendations!

This hotel is one of the best, if not the best, we have ever stayed in. From before we even got there - our flight was cancelled last minute and the hotel staff were so efficient coming back to us putting our minds at rest completely. To top it all off, when we eventually arrived (a day late) they upgraded us. The hotel is a very peaceful place to be although you are only minutes away from everything. The rooms are sumptuous and very comfortable and have everything you need. The roof top bar is a beautiful place to sit and have drinks of an evening and to have breakfast every morning, which was delicious and healthy too. We would never stay anywhere else and would recommend anyone going there to say here. Five star service, food and above all staff. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I never write a review, but this hotel deserves nothing but 5 stars. The location is amazing, the staff is amazing, the room was 5/5, and the entire experience was exceptional. It is one of the nicest boutique hotels I have ever had the pleasure of staying at anywhere in the world. This hotel alone has given me reason to make sure I visit Marbella again. The worst part about it was leaving! We almost rebooked international flights to get another night here! Beautiful views from the roof and steps from the Orange Square. I would recommend you stay here over anywhere else!

I loved the decor of the hotel, and the rooms. The lobby smelled divine. The bedding and towels are very comfortable. It was in a perfect location. And my favorite part was the staff was very friendly and helpful. I couldn’t be more pleased with this experience and country of Spain! I love it here!

Wonderful tiny boutique hotel in old town Marbella. It is in the perfect location in the middle of everything - only about a 10 minute walk to the beach too. I was only able to stay one night (I wish I could’ve stayed longer!) The staff was incredibly helpful with beach, restaurant recommendations, and transportation. Delicious breakfast in the morning at the hotel’s downstairs restaurant. Also- be sure to check out the rooftop bar! Will definitely look to stay here again next time I am in town :)

I stayed at the Maison Ardois for 4 nights and 3 days and I can say it was the best hotel we stayed at in Spain! The service and attention to detail was unmatched. The breakfast was amazing and included and the bed was so comfy I didn’t want to leave. We also left our passports and they let us come back and look in the room even after we checked out and we found them! So relieved they were able help us. Amazing price, location, and service 10/10 recommend
