Boutique size hotel with comfortable rooms, and good quality breakfast. Friendly staff! The rooms are quiet and well equipped, though the showers are very small. The hotel is located in a more residential area so would need to walk 20-40 min to restaurants and shops downtime.

I was a little concerned that this hotel would be too far from restaurants, and it is a good 15+ minute walk from some, but after being in the main area I would definitely stay here again. Compared to the center of town it's so quiet! There is also a terrific pan-Asian restaurant next door and while I'm not really an Asian-food guy, our food (spring rolls, udon duck, poke bowl) was delicious. It felt safe walking after dark, with lots of people around, and the hotel has its own parking garage (although driving a car to the downtown area looks like a pain). Not mentioned in the description is that they also have laundry service. Tübingen is lovely and this is a great place to stay if you like a little bit of quiet and don't have mobility issues with walking a little.

The staff at the front desk was top notch: friendly, professional, helpful, kind and just lovely people. They ironed my husband‘s shirt! Unfortunately, we did not love our room (with balcony) as it was stuffy and had a moldy smell. There is no A/C and we ran the Dyson fan all night which was quite noisy and not super pleasant. We had our windows open and sometimes cigarette smoke entered. The bathroom is also stuffy and there was no shampoo or conditioner (there is shower gel & soap). The spa was disappointing- a round pool - too small to swim in and too cold to sit in. Not sure how you would use it? Small children? Breakfast was very good. Parking worked well and the mattress in the bed was quite good.

Very nicely managed hotel in a quiet residential area. Neat and spacious room. Very friendly staff. 15 minute walk from the old downtown.

Clean, safe, quiet. No air conditioning. A little bit of a distance from old town of Tübingen. Nothing a Taxi or Uber can't solve

I like a room with a balcony and there was no balcony but the entire room felt like a balcony because it had 2 walls of windows overlooking the street. It also had a bathroom with colorful and decorative tile that was beautiful! Staff was friendly and efficient. Good breakfast as well.

My husband and I recently spent three nights in an apartment at Hotel La Casa. I had wanted to try the hotel since we used to live in the Tubingen area and had visited their now defunct restaurant a few times. Our stay ended up being kind of unusual, as about a week or two before our arrival, I received a message from them that they were going to be closing the hotel for two of the three nights we were there. Since we had an apartment and could self-cater, we were allowed to keep our reservation.||It was a little strange to be staying in a hotel that was closed, although it worked out fine for us. The hotel is close enough to walk into Tubingen (15-20 minutes), and there's a bakery, pizza restaurant, and at least two grocery stores located nearby. ||We weren't able to park our car in the garage the first night, but once the hotel closed, we had plenty of space. Because of the inconvenience of the closure, they even gave us a discount on our rate.||As for the room-- it looked to me like it was originally a suite. The apartment had two bathrooms with different shower heads. The showers are tiny, but once you manage to get in them, they're pretty nice. I liked the one with the rainfall head over the one with the spout. ||There was a tiny kitchenette with a stove, small fridge, sink, and microwave. The bedroom also had a minibar. Both fridges were stocked with complimentary beverages, which was nice. We also had two TVs and a small balcony that opened to the back of an apartment complex/playground.||I thought the hotel was nicely decorated and unique, and the staff was very cordial and accessible, even on the days they were closed.||My only complaint is that the bed was a little too hard for us, and kind of small. But overall, we had a pleasant, if unusual, stay at Hotel La Casa. I would recommend it. It's too bad their restaurant and bar closed. We did enjoy dining there when we had the opportunity. Hopefully, they will be able to hire more staff soon. We love Tubingen and hope to be back.
