A Shocking Lack of Empathy and Customer Service
I am writing this review to share a deeply disappointing experience at the Chrielka Hotel. While I had a booking with a free cancellation policy, a personal severe medical emergency prevented me from canceling within the deadline. I immediately reached out to the hotel to explain my circumstances, hoping for a compassionate response.
Instead, I was met with complete inflexibility. The hotel refused to refund more than $300 out of a $1,100 booking, despite my multiple attempts to explain the difficult situation. Furthermore, my requests to speak with a manager were repeatedly denied, which felt incredibly dismissive and disrespectful.
True hospitality is about more than just a cancellation policy; it's about treating people with empathy and understanding, especially during difficult times. The hotel's response was cold and indifferent, showing a profound lack of customer care. I do not recommend this establishment to anyone seeking genuine human kindness or professional service.
