I can highly recommend Maison Emile. As the producer of an international exhibition at a local museum, we accommodated our incoming artists at this hotel, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. First of all, the setting is beautiful, and I was genuinely impressed by the overall design and atmosphere of Maison Emile. The rooms were very comfortable, and all the artists were especially pleased with the delicious breakfast and the warm, welcoming ambiance. The manager was exceptionally proactive—coordinating various check-in times and responding to numerous last-minute requests with professionalism and efficiency. Several of our guests also made use of the hotel’s bicycles, which was a nice added benefit. I would recommend Maison Emile not only for individual travelers but also for small groups of professionals looking for a more luxurious and unique place to stay in the south of Antwerp. Overall, our collaboration with the hotel was smooth and professional, and I would not hesitate to work with them again.

We were so pleased with the room, the hotel, the location, and especially our host Annabelle. We stayed in room 104 - the only room with a balcony - which was quite large with plenty of windows and French doors opening to the balcony. Check in was easy; Annabelle conscientiously reached out early regarding arrival time and greeted us with ideas for afternoon/evening entertainment. When we return to Antwerp we will absolutely return to this delightful hotel. PS We found the hotel soaps, lotion, and shampoo lovely and unique, so I purchased some to bring home as a reminder of our enchanting stay.

Beautiful hotel, smells gorgeous as soon as you walk in. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Location is excellent, safe and close to restaurants, bars and museums, as well as the tram taking you back to the city centre, close to the train station. My only criticism would be that the room doors tend to slam, the person in the room next to mine slammed their door early repeatedly in the morning and late at night so I recommend bringing earplugs. I missed having a kettle in the room, as an Irish person I like my tea early/late and not trying to figure out how to use the nespresso machine in the public hallway to get hot water, so even being able to request a kettle would be great. Very clean and comfortable stay. Recommended!

This is a great little hotel: friendly, informal and stylish. Our room was very comfortable (though could have done with a kettle); the breakfasts were great; and the staff (mostly Annabelle but also Denise) were extremely helpful with tips and suggestions for us on our first visit to Antwerp. We'd certainly recommend this place to friends.

A real boutique hotel: both in its size, and in the high dedication given to every detail by the owner. This does not only extend to the decoration, but also to the very nice communication. The hotel is in a very attractive upcoming arty neighbourhood, with galleries and nice shops nearby. Also very conveniently accessible with tram line no. 1 from the main station (to Bolivarplaats). And no. 4 to the city center.

Clean, comfortable, quaint boutique hotel.||We were greeted by a friendly man on arrival who told us all about the hotel and the local area including tourist attractions and the best bars and restaurants nearby. I don’t believe the staff are always onsite but he gave us instructions on how to contact him for any issues, including his direct phone number. Very professional hospitality.||The room was cosy and clean and had all the basics you would expect, plus there is a well stocked lobby self serve bar with an excellent selection of craft beers, wines, and snacks (I recommend the tasty NEIPA).||The location is very very close to the tram stops and nearby bus stops.||There are also many good restaurants and bars nearby including a Turkish coffee spot right next door with some of the best coffee and sweet treats we have had on the trip.||Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had an amazing stay at Maison Emile! From beginning to end we received personalized attention. We were greeted warmly and given great information for everything we asked about. Although the old building has been updated with a modern flair, the warmth and character of its architecture is the star, not having to compete with art work or color schemes that overpower it. High ceilings, beautifully refinished wood floors, I could go on. Room 14 offered a wonderful, serene experience. The pillows were so amazing that we are going to research where we can find them. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with many fresh choices and eggs made on request. The location is on the edge of the historical core, so all was walkable for us. FYI: There is no elevator in case that is an issue.

Very welcoming, comfortable, and relaxed. Rooms well equipped with good bathrooms. Just right for a short stay in Antwerp visiting family. Honesty bar with a good selection of drinks. This was our second visit, and we'll be back next time we are in Antwerp.
