Boutique Hotel Poggio Piglia

Poggio Piglia, a special place that will always remain dear to my heart. This beautifully designed boutique hotel and working farm is one of the most magical and unique stays we’ve ever experienced. Tucked away in the countryside, where we got to watch sunset over the gorgeous Tuscan hills every night. We feel so grateful to have visited during harvest season where we learned about their olive groves and even got to try some of their freshly pressed olive oil that is released once a year. Their vineyards took our breath away and we delighted in their Sangiovese every day of our stay. The restaurant is exquisite and has such a great variety of menu options that we tried something different each of the four days. As a huge foodie, the cuisine was a highlight of our stay. What made our stay so meaningful are the warm people that embody that true meaning of hospitality. Coming from this industry ourselves, we appreciated it even more. Sergio, Roberta, Katia, and their entire team touched our hearts and inspired us both. Can’t wait to visit this incredible property again someday!

We had a wonderful stay at Poggio Piglia. The hotel is super clean, with really nice bathrooms and beautiful grounds to relax in. The pool looked amazing—very clean and bright blue—but we didn’t get a chance to swim because of the weather. Sergio was an amazing host—super friendly and gave us great tips for exploring the area. All the staff were exceptionally nice and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was simple but good, though the espresso could definitely use a little improvement. Still, overall a really great experience and we’d happily come back.

Absolutely spectacular! The food, the staff, the setting and the rooms. Very cosy, private retreat. The restaurant was exceptional, we didn’t eat anywhere else. Manager and staff like no other Italian service! 5 stars. We had the Depandance Villiano. Hotel allows families but it wasn’t an issue for us as a couple.

We had a wonderful stay at Poggio Piglia. The grounds are beautiful (the pool!), the rooms were so comfortable and spacious and the food was amazing. Sergio and Katia took great care of us throughout our stay; Katia even stepped in during an urgent personal situation to help us out without hesitation. The rest of the staff were wonderful as well - thanks to Julia and Chef Jacopo for our in-house cooking class! I can't recommend Poggio Piglia enough!

Oh my gosh, the highlight of our entire Italy vacation! The property and the hospitality and the location... everything was beyond our expectations. I can not say enough good things about this place. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like celebrities. My husband and I both work in the 5 star hospitality industry in the U.S. so notice all the details and were blown away.

One of our favorite places we’ve ever stayed—absolutely phenomenal! The entire experience was pure luxury from start to finish. It didn’t even feel like a hotel; it felt like a private estate, and we practically had the whole place to ourselves. The décor, the atmosphere, every detail was elegant and thoughtfully curated. All of the staff made us feel like royalty, and Katia went above and beyond to ensure our stay was unforgettable. We’ll definitely be back!

This hotel is as near perfection as one can get|We stayed here three nights the hotel is a delight, the staff are wonderful nothing is too much trouble, so helpful which started during the booking process.|However for us the jewel in the crown is the food which is exceptional, it is innovative, having the most unusual combinations of flavours and beautifully presented a real wow factor!

it’s vey quiet and panoramic + modern inside and outside like hold castello, beautiful! I’m go back again and recommend everyone this hotel ! Breacfast and restaurant have very nice shef professional! Good welcome gift : 1 bottle red vine and 1 bottle olive oil , make in farmhouse property of hotel !
