Boutique Hotel Rambutan

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel! Very beautiful territory. We had a room with a garden view, very green forest-like scenery. It feels very relaxed in here almost like a fairy tale. We really wanted to spend more time here. 2 nice pools with little waterfalls. The staff is very welcoming and friendly and ready to help. 5 Breakfast options to choose from - simple but delicious with variety of fruit and drinks. Thanks a lot!

Lovina is a peaceful beach area to the north of Bali, and this hotel resort is absolutely fabulous. From the peaceful gardens, two swimming pools, and intricate detail of the stonework, especially inside the bathrooms, I struggle to see what could be improved. We had the furthest room from reception, but the walk through the gardens was enjoyable. The room was very spacious and comfortable with a great balcony. The breakfast was slightly different, offering jaffles, as well as fruit and cereal. Would love to return for longer.

My group and I were happy staying two nights at Rambutan Cottages. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable—perfect for resting after a day of exploring. We especially enjoyed the lush garden surroundings and the inviting pools, which added to the peaceful atmosphere of the property.||The cottages are also conveniently located just a short walk from the beach, which made it easy for us to enjoy early morning strolls and sunset views.||Overall, Rambutan Cottages offered a relaxing and enjoyable environment that everyone in our group appreciated. It’s a great spot for travelers looking for comfort, charm, and easy access to the beach in a laid-back setting.

The grounds of this hotel are so tranquil and beautiful. The staff is very pleasant and willing to help. We had a wonderful two night stay. I was a bit surprised that there was no cleaning or bed make up but that was fine as we didn't stay long. Complimentary breakfast was a bit small but served its purpose. The location is absolutely perfect! Our only disappointment was the spa, the Balinese message felt rushed and perfunctory. Did not leave feeling relaxed as with all other massages we had in Bali. Mediocre at best.

I have stayed at the Rambutan for a month now. It is on delightful grounds. The staff are fantastic, so friendly and helpful. The rooms are slightly tired, but pointed out to staff, they remedy that quickly. The owners are fabulous and will bend over backwards to help.|The grounds are a Balinese paradise of green. Close to the beach and restaurants. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Great choice for the price/value ratio. Nice garden, pools, quiet place yet good location. WIFI could be faster. Breakfast with few local foods, but tasty. Kind, helpful staff. Room and bed facilities are ok. Old style, but I like it. Highly recommended.

It was the perfect place to unwind, whether you’re travelling with a young family like us, or with older, more mature guests—it really caters to all ages. Our room was clean, spacious, and felt very safe, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The fresh food served on-site was another highlight—flavourful, healthy, and beautifully presented. We loved the on-site cooking class too. What really stood out was the balance between peacefulness and accessibility. While the hotel offered a quiet, relaxing atmosphere, the local area also had plenty to offer, from cultural sites to family-friendly adventures. We left feeling recharged and well looked after. Highly recommend Rambutan Hotel to anyone visiting Lovina—whether you’re after a restful escape or a base to explore Bali’s northern coast.

Very noise neighbours staying above us and the staff wernt interested when it was brought to their attention. The breakfast juice was cordial until we advised staff it wasn't juice as labelled and then they made us fresh juice,average breakfast the nasi goreng was terrible and very small,the waffle wasn't any better and didn't fill me up I had to go get breakfast again after eating here. Our room was hundreds of meters from the carpark and the path was uneven and dangerous in the dark. There was a huge dead frog near our room for 3 days staff didn't care to move it and it smelled awful. Location was good but overall it was disappointing.
