Lovely place to stay. Our room was clean, tidy and beautiful. Interior is very nice. The staff was very friendly and professional and helped us with anything we needed. Mahon is not big but the location is great and you can anywhere from the hotel. We would come again, definitely recommended!

The hotel is perfectly located. The service where it involves human resources is excellent. The down side is that our first night was shared with 2 mature cockroaches. There was no outside space to sit in the hotel. Also the spa area was an additional cost of €20 each one hour hire. The room was divided into a space for a small lounge and a space for a small bedroom. In my opinion, it would have been a better use of space without the divider as it only housed a television either side. The place is ideal for people who want to be central. There is a cafe opposite the hotel which is excellent for morning and daytime snacks. I would recommend the hotel for a place to stay on a weekend visit.

Great staff, good beds super walkable area. If you get a car, parking lots do get full but there are a few of them and they are super cheap. Beds are comfortable. Would stay here again

Facilities good clean tidy spec. Hot water issue was resolved quickly. Good in parts don’t bring the car unless you fancy a long walk or pay E20 a day. The spa €20 . If you don’t fancy breakfast there is a great coffee shop over the road.Compared o similar overpriced merde in the uk particularly the europa hotel Crawley (avoid). It’s great.

A three star hotel trying to be a four. The standout feature of this hotel is its location - 10/10. It's ideally situated and makes exploring Mahón easy and enjoyable. Unfortunately, that’s where the highlights end. Upon arrival, we followed the receptionist’s advice regarding parking, which resulted in an €80 fine. Breakfast was disappointing and not worth the additional cost. There’s a lovely café just across the street that offers a much better alternative. The room had an overpowering scented smell that didn’t fade throughout our stay. The air conditioning, set to eco mode, turned off every hour, disrupting our sleep - a real issue during the hot Spanish summer, especially since the windows don’t open. While we appreciate the eco-friendly approach, it felt impractical in this climate. Housekeeping was minimal - towels were replaced, but the room wasn’t really cleaned beyond that. On the positive side, the room was clean when we arrived. Overall, the location and initial cleanliness were the main positives. Mahón itself is a lovely town, but the hotel has some work to do to live up to four-star expectations.

Stayed for a two nights in July as a mini break.Ideally situated to explore Mao and its many resturants and to use as a base for the rest of the island .Staff were polite and extremely helpful , rooms immaculate and cleaned every day .We used the spa twice..absolutely lovely as we gad it to ourselves and was a real relief from the afternoon heat (although on the second visit, the steam room wasn't working) The only minor downside was the 10 minute walk to find free parking , although not really a big deal as it gave us a chance to explore a little ...

Our room was 1 meter in, on the right, after entering from the door to the street. It was very small with no tea or coffee making facilities. There was no 'lobby' type area so you needed to be in your room or out of the hotel. The air cond was intermittent which we told was due to the fluctuating electrical supply? On the positive side the staff were very helpful and the location was great. We bumped into another couple, on a guided tour, who had checked out of this hotel and moved as soon as they realized how small their room was. Reading some of the other reviews it seems some rooms are better than others, I would ask for a photo of the room you are interested in before booking.

Stayed for 7 nights in June/July. We travelled with two friends so each couple had a standard double room.|We were met by the manager of the hotel Pacqui who greeted us like long lost friends- she was on hand at various times during the holiday but all reception staff were friendly and helpful. We had arrived before check in time so the hotel stored our bags and then text us when the rooms were ready- about 2pm. |The standard double rooms are small but facilities were good- tv ( bbc news ), a safe, air conditioning, fridge, lovely towels ( changed as often as you would like), nice bed linen, all Molton Brown toiletries - hand wash, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner . Small points - the window didn’t open and the wardrobe space didn’t allow us to hang up dresses or shirts - but this is an old building so they work with what they can. We used hooks ( and a picture rail) for our clothes…. |We had breakfast included and this was just lovely- offered different teas/coffee, pastries, cakes, toast. Then a menu for a variety of other dishes- scrambled eggs, omelettes, toast with a variety of topping ( recommend the sobrasada and Mahon cheese with honey!) staff were very friendly and efficient. |We stayed in the adjoining part of the hotel - there is a lift . |The hotel is situated perfectly by the cathedral and square. Would highly recommend for a stay in Mahon.
