We spent a nice weekend in Kranjska Gora with nice weather and activities. I have been to that place many times and in different places and for the first time in this hotel. | I have to admit all the superlatives from the location of the facility (300 meters from the main square), private parking, the kindness of the staff to the rooms themselves. | They use “L’Ocitane” cosmetics, which means they pay attention to detail and there is “Bose” sound in the rooms, and breakfast… a special story. | I always look at reviews and comments about breakfast but they are really original, I admit and recommend this hotel from our side!

In the shadow of Slovenia's Julian Alps, the Skipass Boutique Hotel emerges as an unexpected sanctuary in Kranjska Gora. This intimate 12-room property, despite its dozen years, possesses the pristine quality of a freshly minted jewel—a testament to the meticulous care of its family stewards. The hotel's aesthetic speaks in whispers: warm wood grain married to cool mountain stone, creating spaces that feel both contemporary and timeless. What distinguishes this property is the palpable sense of personal investment that permeates every corner, with the afternoon concierge—likely a family member, given his proprietary attention to detail—embodying the kind of hospitality that transforms a simple mountain getaway into something approaching the sacred. Breakfast arrives as a carefully curated à la carte experience: farm-fresh eggs prepared to order, house-made granola with local honey, seasonal fruit that tastes of the alpine air itself. It's the kind of meal that makes you linger over coffee, watching the mountains emerge from their dawn shroud. Positioned at the town's heart yet insulated from its modest bustle, the hotel offers that rare combination of accessibility and tranquility. The rooms themselves are studies in considered comfort—beds that cradle rather than support, windows that frame the peaks like living artwork, and a silence so complete it feels almost therapeutic. Perhaps most remarkably, this is hospitality without ostentation. For travelers seeking an authentic alpine experience, the Skipass Boutique Hotel offers something increasingly rare: a place where you're not just a guest, but a temporary member of an extended family, welcomed into their carefully tended corner of paradise.

The beauty of this hotel is in it's attention to detail, personal touch and expert knowledge of Kranjska Gora and the surrounding areas. |We came on a family ski holiday and they organised our transfer from the airport, ski hire (from their own company, with quality ski gear) and advice about the ski area both in Kransjka Gora and surrounding resorts in Italy and Austria. They provided us with the ski passes from their reception for Italy & Austria and helped us hire a car for the two days we visited those countries and even recommended and booked us a restaurant on the mountain in Italy.|They are a family run hotel, of a couple and their adult daughters who have lived on Kranjska Gora all their lives. They genuinely couldn't do enough for you.|The hotel itself is beautiful and stylish. The bedrooms are immaculately clean, warm and comforting. We had a breath-taking view of the mountains, which was gorgeousto wake up to. The daily maid service replenished all L'occitane toiletries and fresh towels daily. The rooms were immaculate- which was so nice to return to after a long day skiing. |They serve a good selection of carefully chosen wine and offer speciality cheese and wine plates. Breakfast is a la carte with a selection of cold plates, pastries, eggs and pancakes - all made to order and served by lovely staff who all spoke English fluently. |I couldn't recommended this hotel enough. We had an amazing time here.|

So so charming and hospitable. Excellent location- we walked to dinner and to the lake and shops and bars- and wonderful views. Clean, quiet and a beautiful breakfast. Parking was convenient and I wished we’d stayed more than one day. Can’t wait to go back!

High end luxury hotel, beautifully furnished and comfortable. Excellent breakfast, cooked to order and lots of choice. But the most impressive was how consistently friendly and helpful the staff were - absolutely fabulous.

Me and my boyfriend spend the weekend and we couldn't recommend it enough. The hotel is really easy to access from the airport, not too far in the car, free parking on site. We loved the rooms, the beds are so snuggly and are perfect after a long day either skiing/hiking or just enjoying the area. The best part is the breakfast! I had read the reviews prior to booking but wow, the chef's omelette is to die for, please ignore any previous reviews about the breakfast being rubbish, it is an experience with lots of options to choose which are made to order! We used the sauna which was lovely you can book out a time slot to use the room to have it to yourself. This is a family run hotel and you can tell by how attentive and helpful the staff are, we are already looking to come back next year maybe a bit earlier when the snow is a bit better. If your in doubt, just book this place, you won't regret it!

We spent 4 amazing nights here. The hotel was quiet and clean and the bed was so comfortable. We got upgraded to a suite, so the room was bigger than we needed, but having 2 toilets and a dual vanity was a nice touch. The breakfast was delicious and they remembered that I was GF and gave me my own bread every morning. The location is great too-we did the Soča Valley, Kobarid, Lake Bled, a hike in Vrsic Pass, and more all within a quick drive from the hotel and Kranjska Gora. I am thinking of returning in the winter now for skiing.
