Boutique Hotel Trieste (Verona, Veneto) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Verona might bring to mind Shakespeare’s star-crossed lovers Romeo and Juliet, but it’s art and design rather than literature and theatre which has inspired Boutique Hotel Trieste. The intimate hotel sits on a street that leads directly to the Arena, Verona’s famous Roman amphitheater, and makes a strong first impression with its boldly colorful lobby and bar, decorated with a mish-mash of electric blue and leopard print, sculptural gilded light fittings and large-scale contemporary artworks. The 16 individually decorated rooms and suites are equally bright and eclectic with a mix of retro designer furnishings, vintage finds, and blown-up posters of cultural icons and brands." - Tablet Hotels

We just stayed 4 nights at this hotel and everything was wonderful. The folks working there are just lovely. Super friendly and helpful. We had some things we needed help with before we arrived (booking a car transfer and also receiving a package) and it was no hassle. Really appreciated. The rooms are absolutely amazing. Beautifully designed and laid out. Our room was quite large too. The only weird thing was the open shower but it was easy enough to work around. Breakfast was great too. I don’t eat a lot but plenty to choose from. Always happy to make by doppio too. Also - there’s a hotel dog! He appears in the evening. Very friendly fellow. Great location and easy to walk into the city as well as to the train station. Pro tip - have a meal at Enobocconi just down the road. He does amazing work and the wine list is something else. Thank you for making our second stay at Verona an absolute pleasure. Grazie!

I loved this hotel! Be ready to immerse yourself in a unique experience of colors and designs. All details are carefully hand-picked by the super-talented and creative owner, whom we had the pleasure of meeting in person. For our stay, everything was tip-top. The team was very accommodating, responsive, and just cool. The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. At one point, I even felt sad that I needed to leave. Breakfast was amazing—a great selection of fruits, vegetables, cheese, and cold cuts (for those who eat meat). You can always ask the staff if they can provide you with extra coffee or an omelet. Overall, it is a great place and a great team! Thank you.

What a fabulous find. A gorgeous little boutique hotel around 10 mins stroll from the Arena. The welcome was warm, the rooms we stayed in were huge and full of wonderful art pieces. The breakfast fresh and generous and the ambience relaxed and friendly. We absolutely loved it. If you like ‘corporate’ this isn’t for you … but it’s one of the most stylish places I have stayed in. Thank you for making us so welcome.

I found this hotel online and loved that it was modern and new. The vibes when you walk in are amazing, it smells so good. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. The room wasn’t ready as we arrived early, after just hanging around in their comfy couches a gentleman came over and showed the room they were waiting for to be cleaned and two others and let me choose which room I preferred. If you’re a light sleeper being on the road side may not be something you want. The staff even told us older people prefer the back side. The road side is fun to people watch and the view is stunning. I’m all about vibe lights and they have them everywhere!

We had a really nice 4-night stay at Hotel Trieste with our 2 dogs. The staff was very welcoming and everything was easy. The hotel is very stylish and has a nice lobby / sitting area and breakfast room. On weekends they serve cocktails and create a nice vibe downstairs. Our room was great - we got the "blue room" in the photos. The view from the balconies over the park and city was very nice and at night, the doors did a nice job of keeping the street noise out. Breakfast was really good as well. There was a nice variety of local meats, cheeses, fruits, breads and sweets, as well as eggs and coffee to order. The location was really perfect for us. It is a very short walk to the old center and pedestrian zone yet far enough away to avoid most of the crowds. Also, with two dogs, we needed a green area close by and the park across the street was ideal. Parking was important for us since we drove from Croatia. Hotel Trieste is ideally located for travelers who arrive by car. It's easy to find and the street out front is normal sized with a loading zone in front of the hotel. We didn't know about the hotel's parking situation before the trip but we were told about the garage when we got there, which I'm sure is also fine. Instead we parked at a well known private garage less than a block away for the same daily price. We also liked that the hotel is 'adults' only but allows dogs! Overall, we were very happy with our stay. The price seemed very reasonable, everyone was super friendly, and most importantly, everything went as planned with no surprises! We will definitely stay at Hotel Trieste when we come back to Verona.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The design is stylish and modern, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The service was excellent—everything was well-organized and efficient. A special mention to the friendly and attentive staff who made our experience even better. Low Wi-Fi signal, couldn't connect to Wi-Fi and had a poor network in the room. Not bad breakfast.

Our very spontaneous stay turned out to be the best decision! After stepping foot into the most beautiful colourful entrance hall, we were welcomed with a big smile and checked in swiftly. The very generous and kind staff helped secured parking right outside the door, before sending us up into one of their beautiful suites. It’s happiness in colours! We loved it and are especially grateful to Matthias for being such a gem! We will be back!

Yelp
This hotel is reasonably priced and perfectly situated for a short walk to the Arena. You will find the nicest people in the world here. I was ill with food poisoning, and they couldn't have been kinder. They let me stay past check out and brought me tea and looked after me. They also have a lovely breakfast (which was not the cause of the food poisoning!). We had a wonderful big room with two balconies. I took one star away because there are no towel racks in the bathroom and the room had three small twin beds. It is big enough for a queen sized and two twins for a perfect "family room." It was newly renovated, so perhaps they aren't finished. I hope my comments help make the room perfect for a family. I would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
I was mistreated at the front desk of this hotel. As I have read several reviews (tripavisor,...) of costumers complaining about the same pattern of mistreatment, and as it seems that all complains point to recepcionists, (in my case, night shift of Thursday June 6th, at 21:00) I have decided to warn you. Although being a receptionist is a relatively simple task, it certainly requires certain qualities. The costumer asks questions related to the trade, like when breakfast will be served, where is located the dinning room, some directions of local attractions or a good place to have dinner. You do not expect that the receptionist refuses to answer, or being given wrong or confusing information. Even less expected is the experience of being verbally abused. On the good side, the hotel is centrally located, rooms are simple but clean and breakfast is OK, with efficient waitresses. Overpriced, you could find better options nearby (plenty of good hotels in the same street). Costumers paid good money for using your premises. They do not deserve being mistreated. Properly addressing this issue would certainly enhance the value proposition of your business.
