My stay here at Victoria for the weekend solo trip was amazing. I arrived in the morning which was super early for check in but the gentleman at reception who was tall and wearing glasses nicely allowed me to drop my luggage off early. Later at 3pm when I checked in he helped me get an upgrade with an additional charge and thank him again for making my stay memorable. Because the room had a balcony with a breathtaking view which I like the most about this trip. Also the bed was comfy and room itself was spacious, clean and spotless. And I liked the location as well. There was a tram/bus stop right in front of the hotel but I could walk to the majority of tourist spots. Overall I really enjoyed staying at this hotel and will come back next time for sure.

Weekend break- we stayed here for the weekend while we visited the Christmas markets across the river. It's in a great place with beautiful views of the Danube. The hotel is spotlessly clean the staff are very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast was lovely with fresh eggs made to order. The room was spacious and very comfy beds! I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Budapest!

The view of the Budapest Parliament Building, the Szechenyi Chain Bridge, and the Danube River from the room is truly amazing. You can enjoy the scenery to your heart's content while having a glass of wine in the room without having to go anywhere to see the night view. The room is spacious and the price is reasonable. The breakfast buffet does not have many varieties, but it is clean and the menu is well-organized. The omelette in particular was delicious!! The staff were all friendly, so I was able to have a pleasant stay and breakfast.

You can't go wrong with this super boutique hotel with an outstanding view of the Danube. The rooms have panoramic windows floor to ceiling which have the wow factor as soon as you open the door. We couldn't fault the room - the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the bathroom, while small, was very well appointed. There is a beautifully decorated breakfast room and the breakfast itself was excellent. All staff went the extra mile. The hotel is very well placed for all the main sights and trams and buses run passed the door. What's not to like.

We stayed at the Victoria Hotel prior to our Viking Cruise. The hotel's location is ideal . . . steps from the Chain Bridge on the Pest side. The included breakfast was delicious and varied . . . . eggs cooked to order, pastries, fruit, cheeses, meats. The rooms were spacious and clean but the BEST part was THE VIEW. Floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Danube, across from the Parliament. The view was so incredible, we never closed our drapes. There is a 15 Euro charge to guarantee an upper floor. Well worth it! Also, the day before we left for Hungary the Hotel emailed and offered to arrange transportation from the airport. We took advantage of that. The price was very reasonable and the driver was very communicative. (Texting me the day before, confirming our pick-up, etc.) Its not fancy, by US standards -- no gym, office center, etc, but THE VIEW can't be beat!

We had a wonderful stay here. The views are just fantastic. Very quiet. The bed is one of the most comfortable that I have ever stayed in and the rooms are a great size. Very nicely decorated, clean. Breakfast is good - wide selection to choose from and they can cook fresh omelets for you with a variety of fillings. Would highly recommend.

뷰가 너무 예뻐요. 객실 컨디션도 좋았어요
직원도 정말 친절해요
I would like to compliment the staff at the check-in counter on Christmas night. I was in a very difficult situation and i don’t speak hungary language late on Christmas night and she was very kind and helpful and was the best staff I have ever met while traveling in Europe. I am so grateful to her.

Stayed 4 nights, late August to early September. Had asked for an upgrade at time of booking and was allocated Room 93 - a corner room with breathtaking views and with a balcony. Given that we were in a bit of a heat wave the opportunity to sit outside with a cool drink was crucial. I had spoken to a guest in the lift and he wished he had requested a higher floor saying his view was somewhat obscured by trees. The room was cleaned every day, the staff pleasant and the continental buffet breakfast was fine. You get offered a choice of eggs on arrival fried, omelette, scrambled etc - surprisingly they did not do poached. Apparently it's one thing us Brits often ask for - I would have been happy to pop in the kitchen and show them how! The location is outstanding on the banks of the Danube literally facing the Hungarian Parliament. Close to pretty much everything including the Chain Bridge and Buda Castle within walking distance. Lots of restaurants nearby especially around the back to suit every taste - reasonable prices too. Loved the public transport - the tram is directly outside - and used the trains, metro and buses. Didn't bother with Hop On Hop Off the local bus routes especially on the Pest side are really scenic - and if you are over 65 all transport is free even for UK visitors - just show your passport. By the way I would not recommend paying for an airport taxi or even the shuttle offered by the hotel. Act like a local - catch the 100Ebus at the airport. It will cost just 22p - yes 22p. Get off the third and last stop "Deak Ferenc Ter" and catch the nearby metro, just two stops to "Batthyany Ter" and then either s short 5 minute walk or quick tram ride to the hotel.
