Boutique Hotel Victoria Budapest

Location is very centrally located. Within walking distance to main attractions such as fisherman’s Bastion and Buda Castle. Stunning view of Parliament which is very impressive to my first visit to Budapest. Great breakfast and they can tailor-made different kind of cooking of eggs. Friendly staff with good service. Room is clean and size is reasonable. Many restaurants are around and waiters are friendly and helpful as well.

Our room had a huge floor to ceiling bay window sitting area overlooking the Danube and street/tram in between. Room was large, comfortable, modern and well appointed including fridge. Convenience store located behind the hotel for snacks and beverages. Close to public transport stops including Batthyany ter metro for easy transfer from main train station. Best part for me was sitting, looking out over the river with a beer at night.

We were wowed by our view! Our big picture window was like a postcard that we kept the curtains open night and day! We looked out across the Danube River to the Parliament building, it was awesome. In addition to the view, the hotel was clean, the room spacious. The breakfast buffet was very nice. And the hotel's location, in Buda, was lovely. Don't miss the French restaurant around the corner from the hotel, Pavillon de Paris Étterem.

Four of us did a two night stay here to explore Budapest prior to a river Danube cruise. It's a beautiful hotel and very central for walking. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Everything is very clean and they serve a really nice breakfast. Amazing views of the river and major buildings on the opposite Pest side.

This is a lovely small hotel in a great location in Buda. It's on the street that runs along the Danube River. We enjoyed staying in this location that is less hectic than the center of Pest. Transit to other parts of Budapest is easy. There's a subway station a short walk away, and trams that go right by the hotel. We loved walking along the river on the sidewalk right across from the hotel. || Our room was spacious and had a fabulous view of the river, Parliament and other buildings in Pest. We were on the first floor but the soundproofing from any street noises was remarkably good. All areas of the hotel were very clean. Excellent breakfast with many choices in a pleasant, large, modern room with comfortable furniture.

What a find! (Well thank you Rick Steves for the rec!) Hotel is in a fantastic location with extraordinary views of the Parliament and Chain Bridge. While we could have walked around at night, instead we were mesmerized by the views while we drank champagne ( easily arranged by the hotel or could buy a few doors down). The picture window on our room was huge! |The room was spotless and the staff so nice. We used their hotel pick up service ( ideal not to worry about finding a cab after 24 hours of travel!). |The made to order breakfast was amazing and the woman running it was just lovely. All in all a ten star review!!

Amazing views and great stay! Beds are super comfy and breakfast good! We were room 51 and the views were spectacular! Great to sit in the window, drinking wine and watching the world go by!||Central location to most things and in between the Budapest tourist bus on stops 16 & 17.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was mostly disappointed by one short-haired female staff member whose service attitude was extremely poor and unprofessional. She was unfriendly and unhelpful whenever I needed assistance. However, I must say that the front desk staff were generally friendly and accommodating, which was a relief. The bathroom didn’t provide any shower gel, and the air conditioning system was very noisy, making sleep difficult. Overall, while the front desk was great, the experience was marred by this particular staff member’s attitude and the poor amenities.
