What a Surprise. Entered to this place to have a coffee and a bite. Never knew it is where world famous madelines are made by the famous one and only Paul Bocuse award winning female chef Lea Linster. So tasty, soft and crunchy only at the edge. Had a quiche out of this world. Thank you so much for the wonderful service Great Chef. Bought also her cook book and wine. My shere luck to visit such a place of a world reknown personality.

Bumped into this quaint delicatessen while looking for a cafe. So I decided to stop and have my very first madeleine ever. It perfectly pairs with tea, delicately sweet. I also enjoyed the atmosphere just as much. I’ll definitely be back.

Before trying the madeleines here, I never had a great impression on mareleines. I never understood what the hype for madeleines were. Even at Oberweis, the madeleines are so so, at best 5/10. I’ve tasted madeleines all over the world and they have always been just OK. The madeleines here are exceptional. We bought 2 to try. They were so good, we bought 4 the next time. Before leaving Luxembourg, we bought 8. The classic ones. You can taste the quality and freshness. Indescifrable but when you taste it, you will know. 2 euro a piece is a bit pricey but for the quality, it was worth it.

These are the best madeleines in the world — perfectly soft, buttery, and absolutely unforgettable. Nothing else even comes close!

As someone passionate about cooking, Chef Lea Linster has always been my role model since I first learned about her. Naturally, I dreamed of tasting her famous Madeleines whenever I visited Luxembourg, and finally, that dream came true! Not only did I get to enjoy the best Madeleine I’ve ever had, but the experience was made even more special when I entered the store and saw Chef Lea herself, warmly greeting her guests with a radiant smile. If you’re lucky, you might even have the chance to enjoy a warm, genuine conversation with one of the top chefs in the world. An unforgettable culinary moment. Absolutely worth the visit!

A delicious madeleine, but a very rude older lady working in the shop. She ridiculed us because we bought one madeleine. She was very sarcastic and when we defended ourselves saying that we were full from eating too many other delicious things, she said that we have been eating the wrong things and that it was "not my problem". She created a very unpleasant atmosphere not only for us, but also her colleagues whose facial expressions showed their unease and embarrassment. I'd suggest the owner or manager to advise her to adjust her attitude, or else risk discouraging customers.

Place and food are nice but... for whatever reason, an older lady (who I presume always sits there) started ridiculing me for my pipe and laptop... saying that I "look like an old man" whereas I should have looked "young and sexy." At first, I tried to laugh it away. And it sounded funny for like 5 seconds. But she kept her disgusted face at me... As if she was about to puke looking at my face. Then I got up and leave. If this was a joke I didn't get... sorry. But it wasn't a decent experience for me.

The smell you can’t resist, the taste you won’t forget! The irresistible smell of freshly baked madeleines of this store will definitely pull you inside. Whether you are for any administrative reasons at the Bierger Center or just hanging out in the Center/Hamilius area, this is a must visit to please your taste buds. I always try around half past five as there are more changes of getting the instantly baked madeleines.
