My wife really wanted to go here. We got there 15 minutes before they closed and the staff were very rude. They made a point to tell us they were closing soon even though we could clearly see it from the hours posted out front. My wife tried on an expensive piece and the staff didn't check to see if she needed any help or a different size, so we left without giving them any business. I doubt either of the staff were the owners because I'm sure the owner would treat customers like that. It's a shame because it's a nice store.

I was so sure I'd hate those trousers before I tried them on... and now I'm wearing them all the time! Friendly staff, with a good notion of what will or won't fit, and who expertly guided me out of my comfort zone. I ended up rejecting all the designs that I had requested, and took home three pairs of trousers that I absolutely love. THANK YOU.

Beautiful boutique in the Mile End neighborhood. Full of goods made by local designers. I found a beautiful linen top and necklace. On the higher end pricing wise, but worth it for the uniqueness. Really beautiful day dresses as well.

I love this boutique. I came here a few years ago and bought so many clothes. Everything was amazing! I still regularly wear pieces from there. I want to come back sometime soon. :)

Although I have yet to visit here, I'm absolutely in love with it. The website is easy to navigate, the customer service is outstanding. I was doing some research for my upcoming visit (we finally have free time this time around) and came across this website. I emailed the store about shipping to the US (which they do for $20!!) and about items not listed on the website (see their blog). Melanie graciously added the items to my order and within a week (yesterday), I recieved my package. The packing of the items was adorable. The reciept came in a black envelope, necklaces packed in a lovely paper bag and box and my shirt was wrapped in a electric yellow wrap. And also enclosed with a unicorn charm!! /endgirlishswoon You may ask why I ordered online if I'm going up, well I wanted to sample items before making time on my one free day to visit.....this is a definite stop for me. And from this, I will definitely be ordering from again soon. So until my visit on Halloween, this cute place won't get 5 stars (just yet!!).

I stopped into Unicorn Boutique today and couldn't be more impressed! Yes, they have many, many beautiful things to fall in love with, but it's their staff that will win your heart. Maybe it was a lack of caffeine but I simply could not make up my mind as to what to finally purchase. The adorable clerk was incredibly gracious and patient with me as I worked through the possibilities. In a time when everyone is talking about improving the customer experience, Unicorn really delivers. Don't miss this one!

Love this boutique. Great selection of beautiful clothes & accessories. They also stock a lot of local Montreal designers, which I love! I have personally found some standout pieces here, that I often get stopped and asked about. This shop is great for a mix of professional clothing as well as fun dresses and tops to go out. They also carry nice bathing suits in the summer, shoes and handbags, fun jewellery (which I have bought as gifts for girlfriends), etc. Plus they almost always have a sales rack. Totally worth stopping in - in fact it's my ritual whenever I walk by (which is more often than I'd admit!)

This is an excellent little spot to check out if you are looking for tasteful women's clothes by local and international designers for around 50-200$. Everything here is hand selected by the owner, and the clothes reflect her chic taste. When you see those elegant Montreal women wearing layers of je ne sait quoi sexy soft basics with a twist, they are probably wearing something from Unicorn. Lots of black and grey, gorgeous soft t-shirts and sweaters in unconventional shapes, and the lovely decor makes you feel like taking your time. Great spot to find jewelery gifts and don't forget to check out the sale section in the back.

I'm not much of a clothes hound but I love buying locally made clothing, which is so hard to find in the USA. This store was about 2/3rd Canadian made, 1/3 China. The staff were super helpful, friendly, fetched additional sizes. This place is not cheap, but then again, much of it is made by non-slave labor, so it just costs more. I'll be back next time I am in Montreal.

I love this shop. It is small but packed with carefully selected items. Spend time looking at everything - in every corner, on every shelf, on every counter - there is cute stuff everywhere. There are a lot of Canadian and local designers so the style is influenced heavily by this. There is very cute and interesting hand-made jewelry too. I saw some beautiful hand-made leather bags. There is also lingerie. Their website is pretty true to the store, so you can get a sense of the style there. Of course, the store has more stuff. It is very easy to drop your coins here while updating your look.
