The Bräu, also known as Aichinger, is a family run business that has existed for well over 200 years. Each succeeding generation has added updates and improvements to keep up with the times while maintaining a relaxed and high-standard atmosphere. My own family has dined here for three, almost four generations. A curated menu offers something superb for every taste, which makes up for a smaller selection. The Wiener Schnitzel cannot be beat - It's the BEST we have ever eaten ANYWHERE. And we have eaten WS in many places in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, and other places as well. Friendly and accommodating service.

The most comfortable hotel with a beautiful view in the region. They gave us a large room with a lake view, we felt very comfortable. Also, when we woke up in the morning, a magnificent view greeted us. hotel staff were all excellent. Thank you all!

Quite fancy place in a quiet Austrian town at lake Attersee, they have a private area at the lake with a lot of stuff to use and borrow. Liked the studios and their open space design. Resturant is quite pricy but you get your money's worth

It was our first stay at the hotel Aichinger and it was exciting. After some undistinguished places around we found there our personal retreat! Friendly staff, beautiful clean rooms and an overall stylish touch in perfect harmony with its traditional charme. The poolside area is reasonable and really beautiful - but since there is a direct facilitiy to the beach we preferred to swim there because of the exceptional water quality. But also on cloudy days we found many other activities. An absolute highlight was the cutting-edge restaurant. No need to dine outside. The menu is well balanced of traditional kitchen as well as contemporary international cuisine and the selection of national and international wines is remarkable. Definitely not our last stay!

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights in June... it is the perfect place for exploring the Austrian Lakes by car, on foot or by bike. Our room overlooking Lake Attersee was large, light and airy with an ensuite bathroom and separate wc. The rooms are very peaceful and our sleep was never disturbed. The staff were all unfailingly helpful and courteous. The food was excellent on each night - you can choose a la carte or half board - we found the half board to be equally excellent as the 'carte'. The wine list was comprehensive and contained a diverse selection both by country and grape. We simply loved the place!!

We stayed here on our way back to Germany. It's located at a beautiful lake surrounded by some of the most amazing mountains in the world. The hosts were very kind and all spoke good English. The rooms were plush and spacious. The spa area and pool were quite impressive for such a small property. The breakfast was abundant and delicious!!! I wish we could've stayed here for more than one night, but perhaps we will the next time we're in Austria.

Plus:||- Nice hotel situated in the center||- Nice pool area and garden - really pretty||- Clean||- Great coffee||- Beautiful swimming at the lake||- young staff is extremely friendly and professional, opposite as the owner family||||Negativ:||Breakfast: is really basic for such a price and 4 stars I would expect more. bakery is old! Very limited healthy options. No vegan options at all! In such a hotel you have to offer more. The breakfast is not more than in a simple bed&breakfast where you pay EUR50 - here you pay EUR 200 per night. Breakfast closes at 10 at 9:30 the buffet is empty already! But again that there are NO vegan options available which is highly disappointing.||- rooms are extremely noisy - without earplugs a night sleep is impossible. You hear the street plus the restaurant which is busy until late night! And you hear your neighbors!!!!||- owners are very snobbish! They don't ask ever if everything is ok (not even when check out) and behave really like snobs! When presented such a huge bill I would at least expect to be asked if all was okay.||- swimming area is quite far

I called the hotel to check if they have an elevator. The lady was so nice we booked 3 rooms for one night, When we arrived, we were so charmed by the hotel we immediately decided to stay 2 new nights. The rooms overlooked the lake. The breakfast was outstanding, you could order any egg you wanted and the breakfast buffet offered fresh fruit, yogurt, freshly baked breads, rolls, homemade jams, cheese, cold cuts, smoked salmon and much more. But most of all the staff were absolutely fantastic
