We booked this last minute due to problems with our original accommodation, and we wish we booked this in the beginning!
Boutiquehotel Amadeus was super worth it, right in the middle of Linzer Gasse, a part of the historical district that's quieter and lovelier than Getreidegasse (personal opinion). You can easily walk, or catch a bus or tram, to all the attractions. Lots of F&B and shopping options (souvenirs and daily needs) as well.
Hotel offers complimentary coffee, tea, and hot chocolate through its coffee machine in the lounge area. You get free cake in the afternoons too. Light breakfast is available in the form of mini croissants. No in-room minibar, but there's a bar in the lounge stocked with juices, soft drinks, and alcoholic drinks.
Note: Hotel is located next to the old St Sebastian's Church and cemetery, where the Mozart family and other Salzburg noble families are buried. Some of the rooms have windows that face the cemetery, so may not be ideal for some. You will also hear church bells during daytime, which can be quite loud. But these didn't bother us as we're usually out and about.
