4.5 stars! Enjoyed our stay at this lovely boutique hotel. Loved our location across the river from the old town with an easy walk. Street lined with plenty of restaurants and some shopping. Our rooms were larger than expected. No air conditioning but had fans in the rooms. When we opened the windows, had nice cool breeze but be aware if visiting in warm summer days. Beds were comfortable. Coffee and croissants available in the morning and an honor bar with beer and wine if needed in the evenings.

Wonderful, cozy room with a super comfortable bed. Great staff and very friendly. Will definitely stay again when we return. The area was fantastic, stores, supermarkets and so much more. A short walk across the river to the city center with more stores and restaurants. Must go to the beer garden about 20 minutes by foot. Everyone in this country is so friendly and the beer is absolutely incredible.

Clean ,comfortable and immaculately clean hotel. In a great location within walking distance of the old town just over the river. Tea and coffee ( free) all day and croissants on a morning €1.50 and €2.50 depending on which one you choose. There's beer and wine in the fridge in the same area. You use the honesty box by filling in a form saying what you've had,and they charge it to your room. The bells from the Church next door chimed every 15 minutes but didn't bother us,very few cars if any came down the street but cyclists were a nuisance, they should get off and walk. A bar, restaurants and a few shops were on the street outside the area of the hotel. Lovely bathroom with nice clean white towels, tissues and plenty of toilet rolls. Take no notice of the moaners ,it's worth staying in our humble opinion.

We booked this last minute due to problems with our original accommodation, and we wish we booked this in the beginning! Boutiquehotel Amadeus was super worth it, right in the middle of Linzer Gasse, a part of the historical district that's quieter and lovelier than Getreidegasse (personal opinion). You can easily walk, or catch a bus or tram, to all the attractions. Lots of F&B and shopping options (souvenirs and daily needs) as well. Hotel offers complimentary coffee, tea, and hot chocolate through its coffee machine in the lounge area. You get free cake in the afternoons too. Light breakfast is available in the form of mini croissants. No in-room minibar, but there's a bar in the lounge stocked with juices, soft drinks, and alcoholic drinks. Note: Hotel is located next to the old St Sebastian's Church and cemetery, where the Mozart family and other Salzburg noble families are buried. Some of the rooms have windows that face the cemetery, so may not be ideal for some. You will also hear church bells during daytime, which can be quite loud. But these didn't bother us as we're usually out and about.

The rooms were ok but the people taking care of guests not at all. They offer bus tickets to guests but stay quiet about it and when u ask for them, make many excuses to not honor their promise. Staff is not friendly at all, especially considering it ain't cheap and guests are their customers. Would not consider to go back. Plus, entrance no ramp for luggage which makes it very inconvenient, and when question the staff for help, their reply is with a pissed off face and unwilling to help. Lack of patience and rapport. Been to multiple hotels and by far this is where we've been treated the worst.

This hotel was in a good location. However the staff were not friendly nor helpful. When I asked for cafe for breakfast I got a reply of fi her pointing which was not very helpful. I walked in the direction that she pointed and found no cafe. The same with a dry cleaner, I was told to ask her colleague the next day. They do not provide a kettle in the room which is very inconvenient. Therefore you have to go down to the coffee station downstairs in your PJs. The room was comfortable and basic. Not sure if I would recommend, I guess you get what you pay for.

We loved this hotel in the heart of Salzburg. Such a beautiful place to stay. It was a large 2 bedroom apartment and was great for a family of four. Would highly recommend stay here. Hopefully we will be back for another visit :)

Stayed in a Junior suite which was spacious, warm with a nice bathroom. The hotel was so quiet. We stayed on the 3rd floor. A lift was available. Free tea, coffee, hot chocolate and cake available in the lounge area. Honestly bar for alcoholic beverages also in longe area. Great location. Pedestrianised outside and nice 10 min stroll into the old town.
