Stayed in a Junior suite which was spacious, warm with a nice bathroom. The hotel was so quiet. We stayed on the 3rd floor. A lift was available. Free tea, coffee, hot chocolate and cake available in the lounge area. Honestly bar for alcoholic beverages also in longe area. Great location. Pedestrianised outside and nice 10 min stroll into the old town.

Perfect place to stay! Very wellcoming staff, nice and clean rooms, comfortable bed and cosy common place to sit, enjoy view of people walking on the old street and have coffee and tea 24/7. Location literally in the center of Salzburg.||Yes, you may hear church bells in the morning (7 a.m.) but considering that you re staying in old town, that could be expected and enjoyed as a part of the unique atmosphere of the place.||Definitelly will come again!

This is a charming hotel. The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. While it is a bit older, it has everything you need for your stay. Our room looked out into the little street and we loved watching all the people walking by below. The only downside is that the people above us were heavy walkers and seemed to be up at all hours of the night. On the main floor, there is a large sitting area available to everyone (but seems to be rarely used) and we took full advantage of this. There is also beer and wine available (for a charge) 24/7. We found the location to be very convenient — close enough to walk to everything but far enough away from the crowds that it was not loud/annoying. We loved Salzburg and will stay here again when we return.

The experience with a young front desk girl on duty the Sunday we checked was the start of a disappointing stay. She couldn’t get us out of her presence fast enough and spoke very limited English. They are still using Covid 19 to only man front desk from 8-6 every day. There are no instructions as to what you do if you have a problem from 6 pm to 8 am. There is no bottled water in the room, no refrigerator nothing except rancid smelling soap that looked like it had been in shower a very long time and the shower hadn’t been cleaned properly in quite a while. I went to the store down the street and bought a brush and cleaning supplies for the shower. The grout was covered in black mold. Breakfast is a joke. Tiny croissants but they do have a good do it yourself coffee machine. The elevator is the size of an American refrigerator so if you’re claustrophobic be prepared to walk up steep stairs. The location is great. There is no air conditioning but they did find a fan for us. The house keepers are the sweetest. I think they call themselves a 4 star but in reality it’s more like a 2.

A fabulous hotel, in a very quiet area and close to old town and all the attractions.|Our room was spacious and immaculately clean and we particularly liked the lovely lounge/breakfast area to relax in after a day of exploring beautiful Salzburg.

Important information. There is no breakfast in the hotel…………….We booked with breakfast and in the arrival they told us there is no breakfast available anyway.. is only coffee with some fake croissant.. only 1 per person. What a shame for so expensive hotel 2 nights 350€

Stayed here two nights and would not stay here again. Noise-5:25am the trash dumpsters emptied at businesses nearby. 5:30am bells at the church next door start ringing every 15 mins. 5:35am the street cleaner truck makes two passes in front of hotel. 5:40am trucks start making deliveries to nearby businesses. AC-none. Open your window. Staff-worst front desk staff ever. Access-Uber could not get into pedestrian only area in front of hotel so had to drag our luggage for two blocks when we arrived and when we left.

We booked two business rooms. They were on the top floor. Our room was large. Our room was quiet. This hotel is in a great location where you can easily walk to all the major tourist attractions and public transportation. It is very good value for the location. They offer unlimited tea and coffee all day long. In the morning, they offer croissants and jelly. The staff are lovely. Also, if you choose not to have your room serviced, you will get a $5 discount at check out. Definitely recommend.
