Solid punk bar overall was a huge fan of the vibe and atmosphere. Drinks were reasonable priced I think it was 7 bucks a Canadian and 9 bucks a cider. Staff was quick getting the drinks no long waits. Live bands did a killer job and the decor was nice. Bit of an older crowd but that's fine. I'd suggest going to one the live band events.

Not much drink selection but I love the chilled Jager shots 😌 👌 very unique environment and I love the margaritas upstairs 😋 so strong and yummy. Live emo and metal bands. Lots of other performances have seen it all here. Lovely place if you like alternative lifestyle. Please have an open mind if not.

I got to go here for North by Northeast, they hosted a secret DJ set by the band The Beaches. We actually didn't have our names on the list but it was late, there was nobody behind us and the girl actually let us in because she's super kind, had just a wonderful and great time there

Would it be too much to run a vacuum cleaner along the ceiling once in a while to clear out some of the dust? I get that the random objects in the net are part of your brand, but... c'mon. I've been to the Bovine twice to support musician friends, and both times I came home with a sore throat that lasted for days. The bartender is nice and drinks are good, but bits of dust fall from the ceiling constantly, so I'd recommend covering your drinks. As for the soundcheck guy, I wish he were not only physically present but also a little more mentally engaged. Too often, the bands struggle through their first few songs only to need an additional soundcheck mid-set... which is a pity because it takes time away from their performance.

Bartender is attentive, the atmosphere is fun (especially for eye spy) and the drinks are good. Overall the crowd is fun, friendly, and the music is great! Worth checking out even on a Tuesday.

First time here. Place was packed for a private TIFF event. Staff were nice and accommodating. Sound needed to be tweaked a bit and sound guy wasn't too helpful but is what is is. Cool venue interior and exterior will keep your eyes busy. Back room has a bar as well if it's too loud up front. Bathrooms clean and well stocked. Drinks very reasonably priced.

Always a great time. Roof top Toki bar and main floor always has a punk rock kind of vibe, definitely place for everyone but feel like that awesome dive that you haven't seen since you were young.

The acoustics aren't great and the drinks are expensive but it's a great atmosphere and it's eclectically decorated (in a good way). I ended up standing next to a speaker with a bunch of stickers on it and one of the stickers just said "B". Very cool.
