Bowentown Beach Holiday Park

Easily the best camp we have experienced in our year on the road. Great location, excellent facilities, friendly and helpful staff. To top it off there is excellent coffee and the best beach walks around. Wrote the lions share of a book during our six week stay here and will definitely be back again

This place is amazing! Right from check in to checking out again. Spotlessly clean, staff very accommodating and the grounds are kept beautifully. The vibe in this camp is good and so relaxing with peaceful nights. Thank you Bowentown Holiday Park.

This place very busy, you meet lots of people and being pet friendly lots of dogs 🐕 the place is well maintained and clean. And for those coffee ☕️ addicts they have a fantastic coffee shop ya. And all the stuff are so friendly and helpful. You have to come.

An amazing stay at the Sea-view villa/cabin during the Easter break, with a 247 Seaview. A very short walk to the beach.||The room was exactly as seen on their web site.||Very spacious and well maintained, good standard of rooms and amenities.||Clean and tidy facilities that were for shared use at the Holiday park. Play ground for kids with a jumping pillow.||Icing was: The hot tub with the night sky view !||Great staff at the reception, Mike was most helpful in sorting our queries and providing information about the areas of interest.||Will visit again for sure.||||||Well equipped and tidy rooms; with a TV too! in the main bedroom. Good wi-fi connection.||||Waihi beach town is close by (9 -10 min drive) for good restaurants and grocery shopping. Also Waihi town which is a 25 min drive has many options for food and groceries. Hauraki rail trail is a fun activity from Waihi station to Waikino station.||||Easy walk to the beach from the cabin and a short climb up to the look-out point. And from up there a trail to ANZAC bay beach and Shelly bay beach.||||Onsite café is great! and its at the reception. Reception has basic groceries too, where we got our butter and cooking oil. Plus a wide range of ice creams to choose from.||||The place is well maintained and really tidy, even if says Holiday park. The staff are amazing! The hot tub was a superb experience with a clear night sky view of a million stars!

We have always wanted to stay at this campground as it is close to home and has the most beautiful beach on the doorstep. The facilities here are amazing, very clean and central to everything. We can see the sea from our generous size campsite. There is a cafe onsite and the staff here are all so friendly and helpful. Today we enjoyed biking the beach from here to Waihi end. The weather is really settled for the long weekend ahead so get out your tent or camper and come see this beautiful piece of paradise for yourself!

Amazing stay, first time I've stayed their. Very very clean, lovely rooms, beautiful hot shower, awesome internet and just lovely friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Fantastic location! Middle of winter and pouring rain but still a great spot. Seaview villa was awesome, great views and well appointed. Very clean and tidy and had everything we needed. The whole place is well maintained and service is excellent, couldnt fault it, we had a great weekend. Definitely need to go back in summer.
