Bowentown Beach Holiday Park

We came here for my grandmas 90th birthday and had a very special time! Staff were lovely, rooms clean and coffee is amazing. Great playground and beach for kids too. Thank you so much for hosting us all. Highly recommend this spot!

Nice little getaway for my little whanau. Park villa 8 had everything we needed and clean upon arrival. TV could do with App based options. Staff were lovely. Onsite coffees and smoothies A+! Playground great for kids, just needs a sun sail shade as gets very hot with limited shade. Close access to beach. Bowentown a home away from home! Will be back again, thanks guys

The site was amazing. The spot was a little different than what was emailed in terms of sizing but everything fit in our site. Overall experience was amazing. Nothing to complain about. Didn't expect WiFi but was informed that there was free WiFi. Didn't need it as we have so much data. The weather was with us all the way. Book in advance people! This place is the place to be for any occasion! Loved it. Cant wait for the next getaway.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this peaceful beachside holiday park! The location is unbeatable — right by the sea, super quiet, and incredibly relaxing. Everything you could possibly need is on site: well-maintained facilities, a clean laundry with washing machines, and even a great BBQ area which was perfect for evenings with friends and family. The surroundings are simply stunning, with endless opportunities for beautiful walks and amazing day trips. We enjoyed exploring the area so much, we wished we could have stayed even longer! If you’re looking for a relaxing, scenic place to unwind by the ocean with all the essentials provided, this is it. Highly recommended!

Absolutely loved our stay with the kids ! If I could have gotten time off work I would have extended our stay an extra night ! The beaches around here are great for swimming and plenty of spots for fishing and all within walking distance ! I love how this holiday park offers multiple different types of sites and accommodations to give different experiences! We stayed in the self-contained unit but when the kids get older we'll get a campsite to bring tents and a set up ! Plenty of fun activities for the kids to do so it was great to keep them occupied and out of my hair.

The facilities here are top-notch—they’ve clearly thought of everything. Whether you're a hardcore camper or more into 'glamping,' you’ll have everything you need to stay comfortable. Everything is super clean and well-maintained. A massive shoutout to the on-site cafe as well. Their coffee is genuinely legit; it’s the perfect way to kickstart a morning in the wild. ☕️ The absolute highlight, though, has to be the night sky. Since there’s zero light pollution, we got an insane view of the Milky Way. Just stunning. If you're looking for a place to unplug without 'roughing it' too hard, this is it. 🌌

We had a great stay in our caravan at this park. All the facilities were super clean and it was great to see they weren't closed at the time of cleaning. The kids that were a part of the group had a wonderful time bouncing on the big mat. They met other like minded kids and formed friendships. A short walk to the beach and I even managed to stumble down using my crutch. A dog friendly park except over the summer, and plenty of dogs as well. Altogether a great camp for young and old with a lot of interest locally. We will definately be back. Thank you park management for the experience.

I am staying here at the moment and I must say this is one of the best campsites I think I've ever stayed at. The service has been fantastic, so easy and friendly, everything is clean and well laid out. I've got a powered site close to the beach..... And I must say it's one of the most stunning beaches. I have to leave tomorrow as I have bookings at other sites but I'm thinking of coming back later on in the week.
