First time ever writing a Google review because I’m that upset.
The service here was absolutely terrible and left a horrible impression. When we first arrived, I still had a small cup of ice cream. The server told us outside food wasn’t allowed — fine, I respected that and went to the dark corner of their waiting area to finish it. But not even a minute later, she came back and told us we had to leave the place entirely to finish it outside. The tone was rude and unwelcoming — not how any guest should be treated.
After we finished eating and came back in, we ordered two drinks and were finally settling into our night. Then midway through our conversation, the same server interrupted us and told us we had to move to the bar area to make space for a large party. I get that restaurants need to manage space, but why couldn’t the large group sit near the bar instead? Why should we be disrupted when we were already seated and actively drinking?
When I politely questioned this, she became defensive and said, “I told you already that the table can’t be held when there’s a large party size.” That “warning” was made before we even entered the bar, when I was told to go outside to eat.
To top it off, after we declined to move, she rolled her eyes at us. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. I’ve never experienced such a lack of basic courtesy from a server. It honestly felt like we were being singled out or assumed to be pushovers — and that does not sit right with me.
I won’t be returning, and I hope management takes a serious look at how their staff treat paying customers.
