Can understand some people gripes with the service. But it’s a bar with a great atmosphere and a perfect place for a drink on any night bring friends or a day. Highly recommend.

First time ever writing a Google review because I’m that upset. The service here was absolutely terrible and left a horrible impression. When we first arrived, I still had a small cup of ice cream. The server told us outside food wasn’t allowed — fine, I respected that and went to the dark corner of their waiting area to finish it. But not even a minute later, she came back and told us we had to leave the place entirely to finish it outside. The tone was rude and unwelcoming — not how any guest should be treated. After we finished eating and came back in, we ordered two drinks and were finally settling into our night. Then midway through our conversation, the same server interrupted us and told us we had to move to the bar area to make space for a large party. I get that restaurants need to manage space, but why couldn’t the large group sit near the bar instead? Why should we be disrupted when we were already seated and actively drinking? When I politely questioned this, she became defensive and said, “I told you already that the table can’t be held when there’s a large party size.” That “warning” was made before we even entered the bar, when I was told to go outside to eat. To top it off, after we declined to move, she rolled her eyes at us. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. I’ve never experienced such a lack of basic courtesy from a server. It honestly felt like we were being singled out or assumed to be pushovers — and that does not sit right with me. I won’t be returning, and I hope management takes a serious look at how their staff treat paying customers.

Discovered a true hidden gem where the entrance belies the beautiful mid-century interior, complete with lit tables and mirrored ceilings. They have cozy booth seating. 10 or so tables inside. Overall Bowie did a great job creating an intimate vibe. Staff were outstanding, adding a personal charm to the top-notch service. The menu offers unique snacks perfect for sharing, complemented by an impressive cocktail selection. A highlight was the bespoke off-menu drink, a testament to their creativity. A must-visit for a memorable evening with great vibes and exceptional service.

once you find this place, you won’t be disappointed (through an alley and in the basement). amazing decor and atmosphere! the mac and cheese was to die for! the wine menu is sweet and simple and there are a lot of classic cocktails. the margarita left something to be desired, but every other cocktail/martini was amazing. definitely on the pricier side but a great little bar that i highly recommend!

On a night out with friends, we were looking for a place to grab some drinks and found Bowie on Google maps. It ended up being one of the highlights of our night! We were a bit confused trying to find the entrance as it's located down an alley at the back of the building and down to the basement level with no signage other than a neon side in the alley. But once you get through the door the interior is beautiful! We were lucky to get a table for 5 even as a walk-in on a Friday night, but we were given a 2 hour seating limit and the bar got busier as the night went on. There was also a DJ in the corner playing tunes throughout the night. What we ordered: - Espresso Martini - Paloma - Lychee Martini Final Thoughts: A hidden gem with great vibes, nice servers, and strong drinks. My friends and I will definitely be back again!

Vibes are super cool. It's a tucked away little spot. Drink was delicious. Only thing is it's super hard to get into on the weekends.

Just don’t come. You deserve better. No service at all. Literally everyone is so rude and mean. Even the manager doesn’t really care. Drinks are average. No wonder why it deserves under 4 ratings in Ossington area.

New speakeasy found on Ossington and what a pleasant new addition! Loved their classics and their martini are a must try if you are into those. Some snacks are quite unique and special which you can’t quite find in other places.
