BQ Aguamarina Boutique Hotel

Stayed here for 3 nights in a junior suite. 5 minutes from the airport costing 15 Euros in a taxi. Lovely, boutique hotel which was immaculately clean. Comfy beds and nice decor. Great breakfast and the staff were fantastic, especially David who was such a nice guy. Small beach opposite the hotel. 18 Euros for 2 sunbeds and a parasol. The rooftop pool at the hotel was small but really pleasant and there were spare sunbeds when we first arrived at 3pm. We visited Palma one evening which was well worth it, about 15 minutes in a taxi. I highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely return.

We loved this boutique hotel. Location is very convenient and pretty. Right next to the small beach. Breakfast was one of the best we have had in any hotel. The room we stayed in (junior suite) was very good and clean and modern, perfect for our family of three. Pool was small but lovely and the view was so pretty!

The hotel is spotlessly clean, and the staff no matter where you are in the hotel are really welcoming and friendly. |Breakfast has a great variety and is lovely and fresh. |We did find our room a little small , but we had a great view over the beach. |We will definitely be returning .

I write this review whilst currently staying at the hotel in the hope that other couples visiting have a fair and rounded account which will help inform their decision on where to stay.|Unfortunately despite booking directly with the hotel, the experience on the first day has been extremely poor; we booked a 'standard double' room only to find we were given a twin room with two separate beds. Not practical for a couple particularly in a hotel with all adults. Usually not a big problem in hospitality - the hotel would normally apologise and move you to a standard double room. So we politely asked to be moved to a double room as per our booking but instead of a polite apology, the receptionist told us most rooms were twins and they were fully booked so there was nothing she could do. After pushing, she eventually offered to have a double matress taken to the room within an hour. So we waited, came back after an hour, waited some more and after more than 3 hours still nothing. Going back to reception we were met with again with the argument that rooms may have twin beds despite our booking confirmation and most couples perfer twin beds(!). After nearly 20 minutes of arguing, she eventually relented and found a double room which they had all along!!|So the first 4 hours of our holiday wasted. No sincerity, no attempt to address the most simple ask and made us feel like we should be grateful for the double room we booked!|Personally experience aside, the photographs make the hotel look much better than in reality and guests may well be disappointed particularly if they were seduced by the infinity pool photos. The spa area is pitiful and probably included in the basement area (which smells extremely damp) to help qualify as a 4* hotel. Equally we noted the bathroom extractor did not work and the analogue air conditioning is far from modern. The welcome drink? Just small beer, or glass of house wine. |On a positive note, if you're reading this review you'll know the hotel location is great and easily accessible from the airport, and the drinks are very reasonably priced - just don't expect much other than that an a twin bed!

Stayed for 3 nights with my teen daughter. Lovely location, right on the beach, very quiet and felt very safe. Marina was a few minutes walk away. |Great hotel, very clean and staff were very helpful and attentive.| We had a side sea-view room, which was compact but had everything we needed, only slight grumble would be the size of the chair & footstool under the desk, they were too large for the small room so took up a lot of space and made it quite difficult to manoeuvre around them. |We were half board, which I probably wouldn’t do again, I’d stick to B&B as there were loads of restaurants along the beach and around the area. Saying that, the dinner at the hotel was a la carte, very tasty and had a great menu choice. However, the service was incredibly slow on our first two nights but I was asked to fill in a questionnaire while we were there, and I mentioned the slow service, and so our last night was much better, service was quick and efficient. Breakfast was delicious, buffet style with plenty of choice. |We didn’t fly home until late on our last day, so we were able to store our luggage / use the hotel facilities / towels and they provided a courtesy shower room for us to use before we left. Highly recommend, this hotel is brilliant, we will definitely be back again!

Lovely hotel, very nice and clean rooms, everything perfectly clean. The rooftop pool is small but lovely, it's a great place to relax. Surprisingly great breakfasts. I usually hate hotel breakfasts, but these were great, and there's a lady preparing fresh eggs or pancakes. Very nice selection of other food, including local produce. Super friendly staff in the restaurant, in the reception, and all around. They really treat you like royalty, open door for you, give you everything you want. Location is also fantastic, the small bay, beach and lagoon in front of the hotel look very nice. Although the water is a bit too calm and not pristine clear to be fair, but that's not the hotel's fault. Super close to the airport, like 4 minutes by car. Difficult parking though.

Stayed in Room 406 with jacuzzi bath on terrace.||We previously stayed in Room 408 three years in succession. So we were initially disappointed that that room was unavailable and were allocated Room 406. However, we now like 406 even better ... LOL||View over beach was better and everything else was the same high quality. ||As usual, praise goes to every staff member who were fantastic. Breakfast was lovely and fresh, as were meals from the snack bar menu we used in late afternoons.||We only stayed for four days this June, so we plan to make up for this by booking ten days next June. See you all then.

What an amazing hotel. Absolutely spotless. Every single member of staff made you feel special. They even sang happy birthday to me in the restaurant. The location is ideal, beachfront and lots of restaurants within walking distance. Panoramic views of the bay and harbor and an infinity pool. A real gem in a quiet area and 5 mins from the airport. We will be back
