Old city Antwerp is cozy and nice. Belgium is (not) so boring country after all. You can enjoy good beers, good chocolate, French fries, old town , Gent, Brugge and of course Antwerp

A must see place to visit.
A distinctive 18th-century monument and fountain on a cobbled square in an atmospheric area.
Around you have city hall and many great restaurants to relax

Stumbled upon the stunning Brabo’s Monument in the heart of Antwerp’s Grote Markt today. Framed by the beautiful guild houses, this statue is not just eye-catching but also carries the legendary story of how the city got its name. Standing there, surrounded by history and vibrant architecture, I felt the charm and energy that make Antwerp so special. Truly a must-see spot when wandering through this city!

a very beautiful sculpture in a fountain!! it is magnificent and located in grote markt (like a plaza with lots of foods and shops, and christmas market during the season!) turns out this statue is Barbo's monument that tells a story of the city's founding legend, Brabo (Roman soldiers)

One of the most beautiful squares I’ve ever seen! Brabo’s monument and the buildings behind are making the square unique! That place is surrounded by cafes, bars, and restaurants. So you can enjoy the place sitting down and sipping your drinks!

Right in the middle of Grote Markt and infront of the Antwerp City Hall. Impossible to miss. Even in the age of skyscrapers, this public square is awe inspiring and I can't imagine how it would have appeared to people when it was first constructed.
Area gets very crowded.
