Enjoyed a nice family dinner on a Thursday night in the dining room. Nice local beer and cider selections. Our family of 6 all enjoyed our meals and appetizers. Western décor and atmosphere was fun. A hopping scene at the bar and lots of big TVs on the walls. This was also a Bike & BBQ night outside on the lawn, so there was live music on a stage and lots of snazzy motorbikes as well as cars. After dinner inside, we grabbed lawn chairs out of our car and listened to the band play until they ended at 9 pm. A great evening.

Good food. Very busy. There was an even going on the day I stopped. I had no reservation, under 25 min wait, see 📸, 3 ppl, sweet tea & 2 cocktails....app & entrée

Lunch was amazing! We all enjoyed the paninis with the homemade potato chips

Google
Great food and service. Stuffed Banana peppers were awesome! Fish sandwich was good too! Great stop for breakfast, ends at 11am though!

Google
The Ruben was well half of it had plenty of corned beef and sour kraut with a touch of thousand Island, the other half had hardly any. The "fresh made" potato chips weren't very fresh-very hard and crispy. We were there during Braddock's flee market next door and always wanted to try it, well with a big event you would think there would be staff=NO. 35 minutes to wait for a table plenty of them open, and waitress only checked on us once before bring bill and asking for boxes. Glad I tried it but will not be back!

Google
Huge thank you to TIA G . Our waitress. She Check on our table often. Extremely sweet person. The pulled pork sandwich was awesome & huge fries were perfect. My wife totally enjoyed the cod sandwich, which is a big kudos to the chef because she recently retired from making fresh fish sandwiches at a local bar. Entire restaurant is well maintained & has very clean restrooms. Only thing missing is a bit more history on the walls & decor.

Lovely local restaurant with fresh and very delicious food. Very nice staff and great services. I highly recommend this place for the people who love local food.

Our family enjoyed our meal here. I really like the fried pickle spears. My daughter loved the ice cream for dessert.

Yelp
I don't know why this place only has 3 stars but we thought it was worthy of more. It's was a well deserved comfortable, sit down and well air conditioned early dinner for us here. We were seated at the bigger dining hall. We got the baked Italian with house potato chips, pulled pork sandwich with fries and a dozen Cajun ranch wings. Do yourself a favor and order this wing flavor. The wings are crispy on the outside and super juicy on the inside. The sandwiches were all so generously sized. We will definitely come back again.

Yelp
There's just too many good things to say about this place in one review so I'll try to make it quick. I've had a wonderful privilege of living coast to coast, and moving across the country four times back-and-forth. That's a lot of eating out... Braddocks is a gem and I can say this with zero hometown bias, the place stands up and wins against similarly themed country style, mountain folk, Road weary traveler, comfort food establishments across this great country. - the food, the look and the feel is 100% authentic here and warm friendly and fun. But the thing you have to understand is the chef isn't just a comfort food specialist, he is a gourmet. His original recipes, and takes on your typical country style cuisine, comes with an artistic twist that is simultaneously easily accessible, delicious, and ORIGINAL. And this happens while adhering to a principle that some of these dishes establish on their own backed up by generational culinary traditions. In other words, meatloaf should be delicious meatloaf with a succulent flavor, and delicious sides and at braddocks you'll get that. But on the weekends, if traditional meatloaf is not what you're after, well guess what: there's more surprises on the menu for you to choose from that are hand selected from chef Bolish and his team's bag of original tricks. See the photo for an example. Its a new round of fun surprises every week. And it's hella good and hella fun. Eat up!

Yelp
We love the restaurant inside. Tonight we tried the BBQ outside. It wasn't edible. I took two bites. I had the half chicken. It smelled and tasted like liquid smoke was injected. Very disappointed.

Yelp
Looks and smells like a great place to eat. But service needs work. I understand it was busy today but the bartender didn't acknowledge us even once. No menus. No drink orders. Looked our way once. Not even 'be right with you'. Just kept attending to everyone at the bar ignoring the bar tables. We left without ever being acknowledged after 15 minutes.

Yelp
Highly UNDERRATED place locally (at least it's underrated on yelp). We didn't think about taking pictures when they first came out, but nonetheless, we wanted to leave some kind of review. The reviews on yelp are deceiving. VERY good spot. Highly recommend for food, service, atmosphere. Friend also got a NY strip steak and said it was so amazing, great flavor and cooked to perfection.

Yelp
WOW! Great service. And the food portions are healthy. I had the stuffed hot banana peppers. It was an appetizer but it had three peppers. Very tasty. Spicy but doable.

Yelp
Closing out a quick visit into Western PA, on our way back we were going to go through Pittsburgh, but we couldn't wait. Barbecue just felt right and Braddock's did not disappoint. The portions were plentiful and the food was out soon after ordering. Our waitress was very friendly and gave us all the answers we needed. Three pork sandwiches were very smooth and tender. The stuffed banana peppers are an excellent deal, inside the peppers are an ENTIRE Italian Sausage. It had a slight spice to my taste, but not overwhelming. We sat in the larger room that normally would have more exposure to some outside elements but, it's still winter when I went with the family. Yes the staff is friendly, even other guests too. We talked with a gentleman who had on an Iceland shirt. The couple next to us with their two young kids were chatty too. Overall, this restaurant was a great pick.

Yelp
Took some customers out to lunch and I'm glad we chose Braddocks! The food was fantastic! I got the Cowboy brisket sandwich - full disclosure: wear your big boy pants if you're going to order this because it's a handful! The brisket was delicious and the jalapeños added a great kick. Everyone's order looked equally amazing. French fries were 10/10 The staff was very friendly and the place was big and also has an outdoor area for live music. Definitely recommend stopping in if your in the area!

Yelp
Really great restaurant. We stoped here while exploring the Laurel Highlands area. The food was great. There are many seating options, and even a small gift shop of the entrance. We were a group of six with all separate checks and different tastes. Everyone loved their food. I had a roasted turkey panini. The service was great! Will definitely return in the future.

Yelp
We were enroute to NOVA and looking for a lunch stop and read Chris M.'s 1 star review of Braddock's. It sold me on going and I hoped to meet Conchetta the server whose name was misspelled in the review. I was impressed by the attempts to satisfy Chris M., against all odds. Conchetta is among the best waitstaff/bartenders you will find anywhere, polite and efficient. She knows every drink and Jameson flavor (that's a thing at Braddock's). In a word, delightful. We were 3 hours out so stuck with Ice Tea and a Angry Orchard (it was hot). But the burgers, cooked to a fine cross between medium and medium well. The quality of the beef was not in the Wagyu class, so the cooking temp didn't need a choice - juicy and dense. The Swiss Mushroom was a perfect match with the fries (by all means, get the fries). The portion was adequate without being over-the-top and needing the dreaded Styrofoam box. Braddock's is not a small place, its winds around several rooms besides the bar, there are tables that can accommodate parties. There is an ice cream stand and some silver jewelry at the front door. We recommend taking a stroll over to the man for whom the Tavern is named. Edward Braddock is buried at the monument, a very popular (in the day) General who should have listened to his colonial underling that warned about sudden gorilla attacks, but that's another review. If you are in the area, Braddock's is definitely worth stopping - and say hi to Conchetta!

Yelp
After a day of whitewater rafting Braddocks was absolute perfection. We actually heard about Braddocks from a review of another place saying to just come here instead, along with the recommendation from our guide. Oh boy it did not disappoint! I got the double smash burger and it was so scrumptious, the meat was well seasoned and the banana pepper mayo was a nice touch, but the FRIES! Those were quite delectable. My husband got the bbq platter the ribs were nice and Smokey and the mustard sauce on the pulled pork was tangy. Our server Misty was also so nice and listed out all the drink and dessert options for us. We'll definitely come back again if we're ever in the area

Yelp
Went here around 1:30 and there was a short line to be seated. I was surprised since it was after the typical lunch rush but figured that must be because the food is so delicious. The second time here did not disappoint! This time we had the homemade chicken tortilla soup to start and shared the brisket, jalapeño, cheese sandwich. The chicken that was in the soup melted in your mouth-not dry at all. The sandwich had the best flavor, juicy, and tasty BBQ sauce to boot-not too sweet. Of course we asked for a side of gravy to dip our fries - mandatory for sure because it is still the best gravy I have ever tasted! And our server was just as kind and sweet as when we visited the first time-I forgot to get her name. :(

Yelp
Food is excellent, the atmosphere is good and the service is great! Oh yeah, and the waitresses are topless

Yelp
After spending the weekend celebrating family we were absolutely starving and landed on this place as we were headed back to the Washington area. Their parking area is huge which was awesome for us because part of our crew was hauling a pop up camper. It was delicious and their portions were huge. I got their Big Western with Ham, Peppers, Onions, Cheddar Cheese, Sausage & BBQ Sauce. Sides I got toast and home fries. I did put my bbq sauce on the side just because I wasn't sure if i was going to like it. I did so next time I will definitely be getting in on the omelet. We were told by the hostess that they do have a breakfast buffet but we arrived too early for that. And as we were finishing up the crowd for the buffet began showing up, so many people lined up at the door. Very glad we missed that crowd.

Dominic B.

Yelp
the presentation of the food was great, the taste on the other hand was not great, eggs over cooked, pancakes very granular, the water tasted like it was straight from a lake, the bacon was actually pretty good. Waitstaff very nice and attentive.
google avatar

Erin B.

Yelp
Food and service were very good. My only complaint is that we waited 50 minutes for the food to come out from the point of ordering. The waitress did apologize for our wait.

Mike C.

Yelp
Food is always excellent but slow which is ok. Manager/hostess tonight was rude af. Sorry to bother you by wanted to spend money at the restaurants. Server was super busy but did a great job.

Yelp
The ambiance of this place is great! We have been here a few times now when passing through and we love our bartenders and servers as they work really hard to make sure we have a great experience. We will be back for more drinks! Thanks team!!!

Yelp
This review is for the BBQ!!!! Make sure if you see the smokers going you STOP AND GRAB YOSELF SOME BRISKET! Best brisket I ever had in my life ! Asked for it without the bun, and I didn't miss a thing! I asked for bbq on the side and a side of cole slaw. Also got a full rack of ribs! If you are watching carbs just ask them to skip the sauce! Everything about this experience was amazing and I am so glad I took a chance and stopped. They also have half chickens and Italian sausage ! Tons of sides to choose from, baked beans, Mac and cheese, and all sorts of fries (hog fries anyone???) Try it!! Best I've ever had ! Next time will dine on the picnic benches!

Yelp
This would be a negative star review if I could. My husband and I stopped in yesterday. We Sat at the bar and the bartender was Concetta. When we went in to the bar there was one couple there who were leaving so we were the only people in there for about 20 minutes. The bartender was a sent for long periods of time so service was very slow. Service was even slower after I told Concetta that I have food allergies since I wanted to know if they could make my food safely. I asked what type of fry oil they use and Concetta didn't know. She did go to the kitchen and came back with a picture of the label. I told her that I could not safely eat that fry oil, so my food choices were based around that. A lot of the food on the menu is fried. My husband got the pulled pork nachos to start and I opted to get the entree wedge salad. I asked the bartender what brand of salad dressings they use. She ten rattled off the flavors of their dressings (ranch, French, etc). I said no, I need to know what brand of dressing you use, it it Marzetti's, or something else. She said the ranch and blue cheese are made I house so I told her I would take the ranch. My salad was fresh and the veggies were crisp. My husband enjoyed his nachos and said the pulled pork had good flavor. Fir entrees, my husband ordered a hamburger and added cheese and bacon. He was not asked what temperature he would like his burger cooked. When it came out it was overcooked and dry. I opted for the Dirty Bird sandwich which was a chicken sandwich I thought I could modify for my allergies. I wrote down all of my specifications for cooking and mist importantly it needed to be cooked ina separate fry pan in olive oils since the fry oil was not safe. Concetta looked confused when I handed her my written request. I told her that that was how the sandwich needed cooked and to see if the kitchen could do that. I also asked for items not on the dirty bird sandwich such as bacon and ranch dressing on the side. Concetta came out of the kitchen and asked if I wanted the bun. I asked what kind of bun it was (I e. Ciabatta, brioche, etc) and she shrugged and said a ham burger bun. I said no to the bun. She never mentioned the restaurant not having olive oil or being unable to accommodate my request. I ate a few bites of the chicken while we were there after an extremely long wait for the food. During the wait to order and our food coming out, the bar filled up. There are about 10 seats at the bar. It seemed that most of the other patrons were regulars that the bartender was more interested in chatting with than my husband and I and another guest. After getting home, I started to feel hit and my eyes swelled up which is a sign of an allergic reaction. I realized with the feeling of a coating in my mouth that the cook must have used the fry oil to cook my chicken instead of just saying that they couldn't cook it to my request. We had hoped that this restaurant would be a new option to add to places I can safely it but that was obviously not the case. From the other reviews of this place, the manger probably wouldn't care anyway. For completeness sake, the decor seemed very mismatched with some antique type items and mostly western decor. There were two single occupancy restrooms from what I could see with one being labeled cowgirl. The restroom I used was mostly clean. We will not be returning here.

Yelp
Stopped for Saturday morning breakfast. The decor is rustic and inviting. Everything looked clean and tidy. We were sat right away. Service was good. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla.. it was Amazing. The sausage in it was so very good. Everything was fantastic and I can't wait to go on a road trip to go back again. The price was also great, especially for what you got.

Yelp
Stopped in on a Wednesday night for a quick dinner. Wednesdays are Wings special. Simple order for us, wings to start, my wife ordered a cup of chili and a house salad, I ordered the OG chicken wrap. First to come out was the cup of chili, it was okay. Then we waited 30-40 minutes before everything else came out. The wings, which were supposed to be an appetizer, my wrap and the salad. The wings were dry and cold. My wrap was dry, unappetizing. The fries were meager in serving size, cold and soggy with grease. Her salad was ...a salad, really hard to mess that up. Then we sat for 20 minutes with the bill and our server never came back. Finally threw enough cash on the table and left. Absolutely a horrible dining experience. Food, service ambiance all awful.

Hannah S.

Yelp
This is the second time my friend and I have been to this restaurant, and this time was better than the first. The buffet hand enough options, in addition to the head chef making omelettes. Decent place to stop if you are in the area and need to eat.

Tom J.

Yelp
Service was subpar, food was not worth the price. This restaurant has gone downhill fast

Yelp
We were very excited to try this restaurant as it is only open Thursday-Sunday and we had driven by it for a few daws earlier in the week. We stopped for lunch on Thursday, June 27th at 1 pm to find it busy but not crazy crowded . We we re seated in the back room at a table. We waited for 25 minutes and the waitress ignored our table (but not the three others seated both before and after us). We finally left in frustration as she deliberately ignored our table never greeting us or acknowledging our presence in any way shape or form. We racked our brains as to how we offended her but she never spoke to us and we only had interaction with the front hostess with a normal interaction. Looked great but hard to be served

Yelp
Big place! I was amazed at the size of the dining area. They also have outdoor seating. Menu is pretty big as well. I had the cheesesteak while my dining companions had the chicken and dumplings and the rodeo burger. The serving is pretty big and my dining partners could not finish their meals. I'm happy I brought my appetite! The cheesesteak was on par with other cheesesteaks I have had. I would head back again and try something else next time.

Yelp
I bet I have passed this place hundreds of times over the years while working in the area, visiting Ohiopyle, Nemacolin, Falling Waters, Seven Springs, etc, but for some reason I had never stopped in here. That is until recently after a short trip to the area for some fun and relaxation. One evening after having some food and drinks at the Summit Inn we were looking for another cool spot to have a night cap but it was getting late and there aren't many options in the area so when I saw this place I was like let's see if they are open and sure enough they were. We walked in and the bar area was small but packed(which is a good sign) and everyone was happy, smiling and having good conversation it seems. Which is always a plus in my book. We sat at a table since all of the bar stools were taken but we didn't have to wait but maybe a minute or two for the waiter to come and take our order. He was a nice guy and took care of us for the short amount of time we were there. We had a couple of mixed drinks(Captain and Diet) each and chatted for about an hour or so before heading out. I'm an ambience guy and this place is a super cool spot to grab a drink and chat and I am sure the food is good too. I'm glad I finally stopped in after all of these years and the next time I'm in the area visiting for whatever reason it may be I'll make sure to stop in again. Thanks for the great service and cool atmosphere. Enjoy :)

Yelp
This is a cute little restaurant located near Nemacolin and we came for a change from the fancy food. The inside is quaint and there is a varied menu. Our server was attentive and always there when we needed her. I started with a cup of chili and my husband and I split a turkey panini. The chili was good, but had a spice that bothered me all day. The kitchen separated the panini for us on separate plates and put fries on each of our plates, which is something we don't always see. The sandwich was excellent, and the fries were good. Prices were comparable for restaurants of this type and I would definitely stop again when in the area.

Yelp
Kind of a classic roadside restaurant. Everything was fine. Cheesecake stood out. Service was very friendly but at a somewhat slower pace. Roast beef sandwich looked very good. Ribs were ok.

Yelp
Good food amazing all the staff is great and know there job including conchetta. And great atmosphere

Yelp
I like the food here, but the staff are kind of rude. I've been here twice now, once for lunch by myself and one time I sat at the bar with my uncle. Service was painstakingly slow during my solo lunch, and me dining alone seemed like an inconvenience to my server. I had the cuban panini with fries and a glass of white wine. The cuban panini was delicious! There's a cool rustic vibe. I love the chairs in the dining room!

Yelp
Stopped on the way back from Uniontown on a Saturday evening. I have driven past this location several times but never gotten a chance to stop and eat or try it. Recently changed that stopping and seating for a very early dinner. The menu is about 12 pages - only two of which are food. There's history and advertisements and here you will be trying to choose something off two pages. We decided on the cheese sticks as an appetizer which were good with a hybrid bread crumb and panko breading. Interesting crunch to it - I liked it. As for the meal - i ordered a blackened salmon which came with vegetables and rice. The salmon was good overall- but the rice was covered in butter. I don't mind butter but it was to the point where it looked like I had a rice soup on my plate. My main problem was that they sat people in the same room when you walk in cramming us all in - and being sat next to the bathroom- felt even more crowded.

Yelp
Decent food Short menu Peculiar layout Bathroom door doesn't lock Good music Cool place Ice cream bar

Karen B.

Yelp
My husband and I decided to stop by for breakfast. Could not order from the menu at 10:30 Sunday morning only breakfast buffet was available. Price is $20 per person. No scrambled eggs on the buffet. Nothing other than breakfast options. No fruit or salads. Eggs are made to order thru the omelette bar at the end. You have to wait in line for scambled eggs or even if you don't want eggs. Highly disappointed.

Toot Morrison I.

Yelp
hey it's raining baby and we're driving thru the night tummy a rumble and fried pickles calling ol Toot's name and they didn't disappoint. beer filled up and panini in hand, sleet and snow on my back I continue on fulfilled I gotta say and friendships-- at least in my toot addled brain --made

Yelp
My sons and I love to stop here on the way to Scout Camp at Camp Liberty/Freedom. Portions, prices, and people are phantastic!

Yelp
Food is certainly abundant. The wait staff is friendly. We're glad we happened by and decided to stop in
google avatar

Mark B.

Yelp
Outstanding service the two times we have been here. The last time was when I had just started a dr. required gluten-free, non-dairy diet which severely limits what I can eat. I settled on their cod sandwich, without the roll and other things. The server had checked with the chef before I ordered and they substituted a dish of broccoli for some of the things I couldn't have. They served me the biggest piece of delicious cod and a bowl of broccoli that must have been a whole field. Great food and great service. Thank you!
google avatar

Alexa G.

Yelp
To start, the hostess tried to seat us in the small front room room right in front of the ice cream freezer. When we declined, she sat us right by the bathrooms on top of the AC vent. It was a very busy location and we wondered why so many people were being seated past us. During a trip to the restroom I saw there was a large dining room and bar that had not been offered. My brisket sandwich and my husband's open faced toast beef were adequate, but not worth another visit. We took a slice of carrot cake home which we enjoyed.
google avatar

Heather B.

Yelp
Darn good place to eat! Loved the decor and the horse/western theme. Very friendly wait staff, good breakfast options. We ate breakfast only - however, there looked to be a significant menu for lunch/dinner. They offer traditional fare as well as buckwheat pancakes - a favorite of a guest at my table. My fellow fiber said the omelette he had at Braddock's was the best he ever ate! I had the two egg plate with toast, bacon and home fries. The toast was pre-buttered and it was way to buttered for me, I didn't eat it. Service was pretty good, restaurant was clean and menu had good options. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
This review is only for the barbecue tent by the flea market. Save your money. Dried out chicken that is charred an extra time on an open fire and swimming in so much sauce (tasted bottled to me) that you can't tell it is mostly inedible. They only take cash as well so there is that.
google avatar

Linda K.

Yelp
Very slow service. Many items not available from menu. The actual food was pretty good, but service was so bad and so many flies. Can't recommend.

Dan S.

Yelp
Went in on a Saturday at 1110 am. We ordered lunch since waitress said breakfast was over .there was only a few tables occupied on upper dining room and by 11 50 no food yet. Got up to pay for our beverage and cashier was ignorant like we were asking to much to get lunch in a reasonable time when nobody hardly in there. Food is usually pretty good. But the wait was ridiculous waitress told cashier she was just bringing it out yet she was empty handed. Well too late Peggy sue you already lied half hour ago that we were next.

Doug G.

Yelp
The owner that looks like Leslie Jordan cosplaying as Woody from Toy Story is a real gem. He had an elderly lady with a son that had Down syndrome in tears after refusing to get the son ice cream because she complained it took over 2 hours and she still never got her meal. We asked him how much longer our wait would be because we waited over 30 mins when they told us 15 mins. He said "if you don't like it leave" so we left. We've been there 3 other times and it was pretty crappy 2 of them but my mother wanted to go there so we gave it another chance. She's the one that he sassed, so now we can officially write this place off. Probably for the best, place looks like some hoarder ran out of room in their trailer so they opened this restaurant to store their excess trash.Menu is all glorified tv dinners so it's basically a wish.com Bob Evans.

Yelp
Open during COVID for dining in. Great stop along the national road. The staff are super friendly and the interior has the lodgy mountain feeling. We were a big group 8 total. The waitress did a great job of getting our drinks and orders. The food just took a long time, about 45 mins. We ordered a burger and the chicken and waffles. The chicken was a little over fried- it was dark dark brown. The waffle was really tasty- they piled butter on it, we had to scrape some off. My burger was over done (I asked for med-well, I know that is not easy), but it was dry and I honestly did not enjoy it. Not sure if we will venture there again when in the area. But good to know it is there in case you need a food stop. My hope is that it was just an off day.
google avatar

Holly R.

Yelp
My dad and I stopped in on a very long road trip. We sat at the bar and were the only two people people for about 20 minutes. I ordered a salad. He ordered a burger without cheese (he's not allergic). We wait over an hour for our food. The bartender said it was because they put cheese on the burger, and she failed to give us an option on if we wanted it or not. Very, very disappointed in this experience because I wanted to like this place. My salad was actually pretty decent, and the veggies were fresh. I would have given this place 2 stars, but in the hour we spend waiting for our food, a few couples were able to eat their food and leave the restaurant. I have been in the food service industry, and this is unacceptable. I left this restaurant upset. I would encourage any reader of this review to go to another place.

Yelp
Stopped here for breakfast on a Sunday morning after not being here in years. I can't remember much about it prior to their remodel. Their back room is... Interesting? Not sure what to make of it. Temperature control is not their forte as it looked like every person in the place was desperately looking for a sweater. It was even cold for me, and that's rarely a problem. I went with a basic pancake and sausage breakfast which was good... And it came out HOT, which rarely happens at any breakfast joint these days. Coffee was good. I was a little turned off by the buffet setup and the fact several flies we're hovering the plates... Which is why I skipped the buffet in the first place.

Yelp
Terrible service would not recommend many places with better food and service near by. Was once a really great place to eat and be it has since fallen far from that.
