"Probably one of the best views in Sydney. Pack the picnic blanket and take in the awesome view of the city skyline, Sydney Opera House, and the passing parade of boats and ferries on the harbour, all from a vantage point nestled next to the complex and imposing iron lacework of the Harbour Bridge." - Born & Raised

Bradfield Park is a quiet and relaxing spot with an amazing view of the Harbour Bridge. It’s a great place to sit back, enjoy the scenery, and take in the beautiful surroundings. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it perfect for a walk or a picnic. If you’re looking for a scenic and uncrowded spot in Sydney, this park is definitely worth a visit!

Public park at the northern end of the Sydney harbour bridge with panoramic views across the harbour to the Sydney Opera house and a foreshore walk around to Lavender Bay. Prime location to watch new year fireworks.

Google
Great little spot to check out and take photos of Sydney's iconic Opera House and Harbour Bridge. There are limited parking spots here which can be quite tight, so best to ensure you have a car door protector. We used a NO DING CAR-DOOR PROTECTOR from www.noding.com.au which gives you a bit of protection. But otherwise, there are a few restaurants that make pizza, grab a blanket and watch the world go by and perhaps even catch the sunset 🌇

Awesome location at the base of the northern end of the Sydney Harbour Bridge with uninterrupted views of Circular Quay and the Opera House. The path runs under the bridge and around to Luna Park on the Western Side. Fantastic spot for a short walk and to get photos of the harbour.

Google
It is a beautiful park that enchants with its special view of the harbour bridge. If you go further east, you will find a series of beautiful green spaces and partly hidden places from which you have great views of the bridge and the opera, away from the hustle and bustle of the big city.

Google
Top spot to take 👌 photos of the harbour Ideal for a picnic or a stroll, this iconic park runs partly under the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and offers iconic views of the harbour, Circular Quay and the Sydney Opera House. A paved under-bridge area is ideal for strolling and having lunch. The park is linked to the Olympic Pool and Luna Park site, and to open space areas along the Kirribilli foreshore. There are monthly markets, heritage items and significant tree plantings. Please note the playground is closed from 9 March 2023 until further notice..

Great spot for a sunset picnic. The view never disappoints. Don't forget to take a few drinks. If you need refills there's a bottle-o 100m up the road.

We took this beautiful wedding photos of our client who tied the knot at Bradfield Park that has beautiful view of the Opera House and the Harbour bridge.

Yelp
This was the location used for the starting area for the Sydney Marathon. It was large enough to handle approximately 40,000 race participants spread across the half marathon, 10k, marathon, and 3.5 km family run. The park looked to be well maintained with a nice view of the underside of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. One thing about the park was that it was slopped towards the harbour, so some of the portapotties weren't quite stable.

Yelp
What a great use for the underside of a bridge. It helps that it's right on the water and has great breezes. It features: great views, well maintained lawn, not as many seagulls as on the south shore...which is kind of weird, right? There are a few benches and you can get some shade by hiding under the bridge. There's a playground and public toilets (did not use). It does slope so be prepared to chase a ball if it goes astray...which is a good way to tire those kiddos out should that be needed. Great spot to fly a kite, have a picnic, enjoy outside and read a book.

Yelp
This park gives you views of the bridge, but it lacks in amenities and isn't as clean as some of the other parks in the city. Still, I'd say come here to say that you made it from one side of the city to the other via harbour bridge!

Yelp
I have to say that this part of Sydney brings back quite a lot of memories, especially since a good friend of mine took me here years ago because she, well, lived in Sydney and knew all the good spots to go and not spend any money. I have to say that it is a lot better at night (and with company) but you still get some outstanding views of the city. However, as Dan rightly points out pretty much everybody else comes here, and you generally have to put up with quite a lot of noise as well. However, if you happen to be down here (maybe because you want to check out Milson's Point Railway Station) then you might as well take a bit more time and come for a walk down here.

Yelp
I love this area as there are some spectacular views of Sydney harbour here.

Yelp
Talk about a playground with a view to die for... well not die rather smile for. It's stunning. The huge leafy trees keep the play area cool on a hot day. There are plenty of benches for parents to sit down and enjoy a take away coffee. The play equipment is colourful and in good nick. The netted climber thing is quite unique and loads of fun for the kids over four who are a bit more agile that the littlies. The playground is fenced off from the roads and rest of the park. There are public toilets nearby as well as plenty of cafes to get that well deserved caffeine fix.

Yelp
The Playground at Bradfield Park is sheltered from the sun by a large Fig tree though it does little to calm the wind tunnel that is Milsons Point on a bad day. It's worth knowing that the fruits from this tree which litter the playground aren't poisonous - it might seem obvious but to a non local it was palpitation inducing when I first saw my little one munching on one! The park is peculiar in that its facilities seems too cover an odd age range. There's a climbing net that suits older children and requires pre-schooler supervision and then a smaller activity centre for tiny tots but not really anything in the middle. No swings though, which is great if you want to give the biceps a break. Watch out for the low lying climbing net that seems to have been designed with this sole purpose of tripping up visiting grandmothers carrying Cappucinos (you can see the offending item in my photos) The toilets nearby are a hoot. They're the disguitingly filthy automated kind where you can perform your ablutions to music. It adds a charming comical feel as you scream 'don't touch anything' to your little play mates. Truly memorable.

Dan P.

Yelp
The key point to note here is that you are situated under one of the world's most iconic bridges, right on Sydney Harbour. Just breathe that in for a tick... Ok, then you'll notice the noise. It is rather noisy here. Screaming kids chasing pigeons around the grass; the regular ker-chunk ker-chunk of trains rolling by overhead; ferry foghorns saying "get the f*&^ outta my way!". If you are looking for a place to have a quick nap, or zone out it's probably not ideal for that, but it is relaxing and breathing in the nice cool breeze is somewhat calming. Clearly, as others have noted, there are better places to take photos and more interesting areas to chill. We take it for granted, but it's really not a bad spot of the world.

Yelp
Bradfield Park boasts unbeatable harbour views, sitting directly opposite the Opera House and literally underneath the Harbour Bridge. Its proximity to Kirribilli's main drag make it the ideal place to take a picnic - stop off for gourmet goods at the Kirribilli Deli or grab some Thai takeaway from Stir Crazy, stroll down the hill and you're set for a scenic meal. There's actually a ping pong table that somebody has donated to the park, taking up residence on the north end by Fitzroy Street - great idea, but as the area can get extremely windy, slamming the feather-light ball back and forth is a bit of mission. It's also a dog-friendly zone, but watch out from 2.30-4pm weekdays as kids from nearby schools swamp the area on their way to the bus stop and sometimes head here for after school sport activities.

Rachel C.

Yelp
Noisy but beautiful, this open grassy knoll is a lovely place to lie in the sun (cider optional). A nice walk along the water from the ferry (via Luna Park), the park is a short stroll from Kirribilli's cafes and delis, making it the perfect picnic destination, having shopped up for picnic goods and stopped off at the bottle shop along the way. Electric public toilets (that I had previously only encountered in Europe) sit on the top of the hill. Whilst this may be a novelty the first time (and useful I guess, if you need to use the bathroom) they aren't the cleanest of toilets (the ones in Europe are self-cleaning as well) and the background music and vocal instructions are a little bit creepy. The slope of the hill seems to perfectly support your sleep in the sun, and after walking around the maze of the Kirribilli markets, this nap may just be necessary. Only don't plan on a deep sleep - the constant throttle of the train line that runs above you may get in the way of this.

Yelp
I would play at this park as a kid during school. It's right under the harbor bridge and has a great view of the bay and the Sydney Opera House. Only downside to this park is that it's on a slope so it's hard to play sports or games on level ground. Also, since a lot of the park is hidden underneath the bridge, there are a lot of dirt spots since the grass lacks sunlight.
