Braemar Cabins | Holiday Accommodation

We had a super time, thank you. Cabin was warm when we arrived and perfect for a couple of nights while we skied at Glenshee. The photos definitely don't do it justice, there is plenty of space for that end of the day relax. Underfloor heating was a nice addition, wet shoes from the snow didn't mean wet floors. In places we may have struggled for head room but fine for us folks under six feet. Car parking was a little tight but only because another resident hadn't understood there were four spaces. Our cabin was close to the road so we heard a little traffic noise over night but road wasn't too busy. All in all we will go back again.

I stayed in the Callater cabin recently for a work event and absolutely loved it. The cabin was perfect – clean, cozy, and had all the essentials. Self check-in was super easy, and the location was ideal, close to everything I needed but still peaceful and surrounded by beautiful scenery. I’ll definitely be returning for a holiday next time instead of work. Well worth it!

Return visit to Braemar Cabins (Callater) to compete in the Braemarathon 10K. Standards are maintained from last visit which was just last year. Access to cabin simple and cabin was clean and tidy, no issues at all and everything you need for a short stay is available to you. Area is stunning and with so many great little cafes, hotels and shops in such a beautiful little village.The wider area is beautiful with so much to do and see and hopefully I will be back for next years 10K event which I can thoroughly recommend.

Will defo recommend and stay again! Part of the Mountain store and cafe with tables and views above the falls. Insanely beautiful deck area. Such a picturesque and hidden gem! I feel sad for the tourists that miss out on this . The cabins had a lovely view adjacent to a beautiful church. Birdwatching is excellent.

The room was lovely, even though the temperature was a little hot. However, once the windows were opened, we slept more comfortably. There is heat but no AC--at least for our cabin that we chose. I cannot speak for the other cabins there. Because of the region, this made sense. The weather was lovely, so we just opened our windows and were fine. We went in July, hence the perfect weather. The host was terrific and very responsive to any questions, coming over to help immediately. I was truly surprised by this since some of my questions did not require her to come, but she came anyway to make sure we were all right and settled in well.

What a lovely place to stay! Cabins are so comfortable and the whole area so we'll look after, we would describe it as cute! Pictures don't do it justice, cabins feel much bigger than expected, beds are comfortable and there is a lovely chill out space with pit fire in the garden that we very much enjoyed

Absolutely brilliant place. Recommend for anyone! Single to full blown family trip suitable for all.

Excellent self-catering accommodation! Callater cabin provides everything you need within its compact footprint - well-sized double (or twin) bed upstairs, good wet room shower-room, kitchen with everything you need (microwave is actually a combination oven). (If you need bigger accommodation there are two-bedroom cabins, with dining table as well). The Bothy was great for sit-in breakfasts and take-out sandwiches. Perfect location in Braemar, and a great base for Deeside generally. Beautiful views!!
