Very polite and friendly team. Very helpful. Well stocked shop with everything you would need for a variety of outdoor adventures. The normal sale rails all outdoor shops have as seasons change with a great range.

Hired bikes here to reduce the time doing some of the hills in the vicinity. Staff very helpful, bikes were ideal for terrain and supplied with helmets and puncture repair kits. Pricing reasonable for hire. Shop has a wide stock of goods for the outdoors, with top quality brands. Pricing of items in shop is as expected when on the doorstep of an outdoor playground and little competition - this is not a negative, if arrive without and need something it's likely they'll have it, but this is Braemar not Fort William so expect to pay accordingly. Thoroughly recommend their hire service, easy to pre book over the phone (bike stock is not unlimited so if weather looks good think ahead). Bit of a discount for longer duration hire too. Lovely wee tea room attached does great morning rolls to get you on your way!

This is a great place with a fantastic team. I bought a waterproof jacket and pair of trousers and they were super helpful with advise during my purchases - great sale prices too. The Mountain Equipment jacket turned out to be faulty and they were really helpful walking me through my options which included a replacement or full refund. Definitely recommend and will be using again.

They are great. They sent my parcel by DHL, then when DHL ballsed it up and sent back to them, they then re-sent the parcel with royal mail without me even doing or saying anything. We were there for the Braemar Gathering, but were leaving for the Faroe Islands in three days time. I’d mis-packed with a lighter jacket. So, whist it was odd to shop for a warmer coat when the outside temp was 72F, it was necessary. The clerk was most welcoming and accommodating, and I found the perfect Schoffel snipe coat. One of the better purchases I’ve ever made, as the Faroes are quite chilly. The surprise hood was an added bonus. Plus, I accomplished this in all of about 10-15 minutes. Excellent shop for both traditional and contemporary outdoor togs!

Rented some electric mountain bikes for a blast around Braemar. Fantastic bikes and service
