We had an amazing time there, spending two nights in August! We were really pleased to find clear check-in directions sent to us in advance! The cabin is fully equipped for a comfortable stay that will last for many days if you want it to (electric stove, microwave, kitchen utensils, refrigerator, etc.). And there were games too! And the icing on the cake was a wonderful dog and absolutely gorgeous views! And it's also pretty close to the incredible Vestrahorn! And the best part is, they have their own waterfall if you walk nearby! There was a fantastic information booklet about the area, full of great tips on what to do and what to visit. It is a lovely cottage with house rules, which are really easy to follow. Just make sure you clean up after yourself at the end, wash/dry/stove dishes, and take garbage out. When we arrived, it was cold, but the heating was perfect and we felt cosy very soon! The bathroom was the only room that was a bit chilly, but we were really happy it wasn't winter! I would absolutely stay there again!

We booked and stayed 2 nights here. Cute, rustic cabin. Clear check in directions were sent to us in advance. Daughter and her husband slept in bedroom. My husband and I slept on sofa bed. All the beds, including the sofa bed were all set up for us when we arrived, went was nice touch. A book with info on the farm, the owners and the area was on the table. Very interesting information. There was a microwave, French press and a 2 burner induction cooktop. And a small refrigerator. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay. A really nice extra is the beautiful waterfall located on the property. We enjoyed our stay here.

It’s relatively expensive for the quality of this house in Iceland. Several things were slightly broken, such as the doors to the rooms and the bathroom, which couldn’t close properly. We had to use our luggage to keep them shut. The shower had low water pressure, making it difficult to wash my long hair. Additionally, the hot water tank was too small, not enough for four people to take hot showers. There was no soundproofing between rooms, so you could clearly hear conversations from other rooms or the living room, making it feel like one large space rather than two separate rooms. One of the rooms had bunk beds, but they were very small, seemingly designed for children rather than adults, with not enough headroom to sit comfortably on the bed. Overall, there were too many issues to overlook, making this the worst accommodation we had in Iceland. The others were much better and more affordable.

Not sure who they used to build these cottages, but it gives a "mass produced" vibe. The structure just isn't well built. It's full of cheap ikea furniture, and our coffee table needed to be replaced. The pillows were lumpy and super flat (folded in half when you fold it over your arm), and you could feel the springs in the mattresses. It also seemed odd that our cottage was already open with a key inside on the table vs. setting up a lock box to access a key. Wifi wasn't usable, we used our own Hotspot to get internet. We also had a leak in our bathroom sink, and the bowl catching the water drips was almost overflowing by the time we arrived. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, and it gets the job done for most meals. It was very warm inside when we arrived as well. The view was nice but we were fortunate to be facing the field. It seems like a fun place in warmer months when they have their restaurant open, we just didn't get a chance to experience it. Overall, if you're staying more than a night or two I'd skip this place. Seems overpriced for what you get.

The rooms are great, but they could have placed better mattresses as the sofa bed was more comfortable. Also the internet signal inside the cottage was very weak, you need to come out to the parking lot to get a strong signal. The view from inside the cottage is great.

Where to start!? As we arrived, we had no WiFi, but the stuff sent someone the next day to sort it out! Perfect! Unfortunately, that was not all! The next day, it was raining, and we quickly realised why the walls had water stains! It was raining through everything! Literally everywhere! Through windows, walls, etc...see pictures and video for explanation!!! To make it worse, water was dripping on electric cables and electric sockets. We decided to pack and leave 2 days earlier than predicted!!! We were given a refund (50%) within a week of our departure to compensate for our quick departure!!

Stunning location! Loved that the host included history of the land that the cottages sat in. These are basic needs cabins, warm, clean, dry and comfortable. The views were otherworldly. A great place to stop for the night.

Marvelous place with unforgettable views and a pinch of wind, present enough for the houses to be named after Icelandic wind expressions. The area encourages you to take walks to discover that there is a waterfall worth seeing in the area, and the wildness of the surrounding space makes you howl at the moon. I do not attach waterfall pics, go and check it yourself 11/10
