This accommodation was so worth our money. I think if you’re missing out a cottage experience in Iceland, you haven’t travelled Iceland properly. The view is amazing from the cottage! When we woke up it snowed for the first time this winter and it was spectacular and amazing. We almost stayed one more night because we loved this place so much. The kitchen was perfect for us to heat up the food and shower was so nice and warm. Like anywhere in Iceland, the water pressure and hot water was spot on. There was a small description about the farm and history of accommodation and it was very very cute. Ever thinking of visiting East Iceland, would highly suggest this spot. Im thinking of making this place an annual spot to visit in Iceland.

Everything was great! The beds were comfy, the walk to the waterfall was beautiful, the food at the restaurant was amazing. We were traveling the ring road and this was night 4 and we had been sleeping in our camper so we were all looking forward to this break. The views were lovely, this area was my two teenagers favorite area in Iceland and staying at Bragdavellier cottages probably was a large driver on why it is their favorite area!

Cottages need to be just assigned by the numbers. 2 rooms with 2 single beds in each and a sofa that pulls out to a double bed. Very cute cottages. They have signs for different sights to see in the area. The view from the cottage was beautiful. They have a restaurant but it closes in August.

Stayed here in April 2025. Had three cabins for my family. Had zero interaction with anyone there. They sent check-in instructions via email in advance, cabin doors were unlocked, and we just left rooms unlocked upon departure. Efficient. Wifi did not work, but we didn't care. Used phone hot spot. Small but effective kitchen. Made some simple things for dinner there. Plenty warm, enough warm water for a couple showers, comfortable enough beds, and a nice sitting area. Pleasant stay. Nice views and a great location for us. Nothing else around this area I could find. Felt a bit expensive (like $300 per cottage per night), but part of the Iceland experience. Nice waterfall and views. Would stay here again.

Stunning location and scenery all around, but very pricey. Stayed only for 1 night, but the drive to and out of the cottage was spectacular. Barn restaurant only option for food.

Very nice and cosy quaint cottage, all wooden but still well equipped. The location is nice, with a waterfall withing easy walking distance worth checking. Only downside was the TV, which first we couldn’t control because the remotes were out of batteries. The staff was nice enough to change them and bring them back, but then we realized that the dstellite TV didn’t connect, the TV itself didn’t allow wireless internet, meaning we just had a very nice black painting to look at. You don’t really come to this spot (or country) to watch tv, but with kids and at night it comes in handy

Excellent place, love this area, highly recommend. The houses so cute and comphy and clean, staff so helpful and nice. Loved the hike to Snædalsfoss. Good food at the restaurant, recomment the salmon and the steake sandwitch. Will come back next year!

We booked and stayed 2 nights here. Cute, rustic cabin. Clear check in directions were sent to us in advance. Daughter and her husband slept in bedroom. My husband and I slept on sofa bed. All the beds, including the sofa bed were all set up for us when we arrived, went was nice touch. A book with info on the farm, the owners and the area was on the table. Very interesting information. There was a microwave, French press and a 2 burner induction cooktop. And a small refrigerator. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay. A really nice extra is the beautiful waterfall located on the property. We enjoyed our stay here.
