Absolutely excellent. We went back the very next day because it was so good. We tried a majority of the menu between the four of us and everything was fantastic. The favorites were the gyozas and the profiteroles. The flavor combinations were unique and came together beautifully. The staff were kind and personable, and clearly enjoyed their work.

Great dining concept offering a variety of small plates across 3 main category types: vegetarian, seafood and meats. The onglet meat and the carpaccio of langoustine are a must try. Everything tasted great. Highly recommended. Staff super helpful and friendly which adds to this amazing dining experience. The chocolate ganache is a must-try. Loved the whole experience. The only downside is the setting indoor which is too dark and too basic in decoration.

Our first visit to Braisenville last autumn was nothing short of extraordinary. We chose this cozy yet refined restaurant to celebrate a birthday, and it turned out to be the perfect setting for a memorable evening. From the moment we arrived, we were met with warm hospitality, impeccable service, and an atmosphere that strikes the perfect balance between casual comfort and high-class dining. The food? Simply outstanding. Each dish was not only delicious but also thoughtfully crafted, with a level of refinement that elevated the entire dining experience. The flavors were exquisite, and the wine selection was equally impressive—every glass complemented the meal beautifully. The desserts, in particular, were a revelation: bold, creative, and a true testament to culinary artistry. One of the highlights of our visit was discovering a natural wine that we instantly fell in love with. We were so captivated by its taste that we made it our mission to track it down for home enjoyment—and we succeeded. Personally, I believe that dining out should offer something beyond what I can create in my own kitchen, and at Braisenville, that’s exactly what you get: dishes that surprise, delight, and showcase a level of skill and creativity that is truly inspiring. Our experience was so exceptional that we recently returned—and without a doubt, we will be back again on our next trip to Paris. While the pricing may not be the lowest, it is absolutely justified by the quality of the food, the service, and the overall experience. The staff are not only professional but also genuinely kind and welcoming, and the clientele reflects the same warm and pleasant energy. If you’re looking for a restaurant that delivers a unique, high-quality dining experience without feeling overly formal, Braisenville is the place to be. Enjoy, everyone—this one is worth it!

Absolutely delicious food: I had the tuna tartare, the gazpacho and the aubergine (small plates that are reasonably priced; they recommend you pick 3-4 per person and that is plenty). I had the roasted peach for dessert and the accompanying ricotta ice cream was probably the best ice cream I’ve ever had. The service was excellent: the waiters were extremely friendly and knowledgable! Would highly recommend.

Google
Great experience. 5/5 worth it. This bistronomie restaurant had been on my list for a while, and it definitely lived up to the hype. Went for lunch on a Thursday, and the 26 euros for a 3-course menu is honestly unbeatable. They also had a 5-course tasting menu for 42 euros, which I’ll need to try next time when I have more time. Definitely recommended!

I was lucky enough to Visit Braisenville and tired their summer and fall menu. Both blew my mind and taste buds, as it is something I don’t often say since I have the privilege to live in two gastronomically abundant cities. But what made the nights was the hospitality. Karim and his team went above and beyond on offering the customers an unforgettable experience that is not common in nowadays.

Google
Very pleasant experience in this restaurant that I have wanted to experience for long. There is no real big main dish but plenty of little plates to choose from and the ones from the sea are a delight. We also had a big steak cooked to perfection and tender enough. The wine list is good and prices for a bottle start around €40. Staff are very nice and professional. Very easy to book online on their website.

Yelp
The perfect dinner on an early August evening. We had planned on a particular destination for dinner, but they were closed for holidays. We took an "on the street" recommendation to try out Braisenville. Upon arriving to Braisenville, we were met by a smiling Hugo, who promptly found us a table and gave us a good explanation of the menu and ways to order off it. Between the 4 of us, we ordered 4 veggie, 2 fish, and 4 meat dishes. Hugo made recommendations on how to adjust our order for a better overall taste. He took care of the rest, bringing out the dishes in a specific order so that one flowed perfectly into the next. With each plate, he gave us a breakdown of the different makeups of the dishes, showing a pride in the depth of the meals. Every day can be a different meal, as evidenced by the date at the top of the menu. Here are the dishes we ordered: Veggies: -A plate of grilled vegetables (fine but typical) -Emulsion of Ratte potato from Touquet, walnuts, mushrooms, and watercress -Tomato, pineapple, glasswort -Burrata, spaghetti zucchini, grapefruit, rhubarb (Last three all tie for first place. Do not skip any of them!) Sea: -Turbot, spinach, beetroot sorbet -Hake, green peas, raspberry, black garlic Land: -A slice of Angus beef, from Dakota (very tasty) -Pork filet, lime, fennel (fine, but least favorite) -Marinated tender veal, cauliflower, scamorza, mango x 2 dishes We then enjoyed some dessert as follows: -Chocolate, Tonka bean -Cherry pie (best) -Strawberries, cucumber, peanut froth -Pineapple sorbet All of the dishes were light and did not overfill us. We had a couple glasses of paired wines. As we left the building, it started to rain. Hugo offered us an umbrella that had been left months ago. Lovely place with a friendly atmosphere. Definitely planning on going back again.

Yelp
Yum! Got the tuna, egg plant, and filet mignon. Very delicious and I felt very French. They really knew how to throw down with the seasonings. Sat outside, felt very summery + gorg! Also they spoke English which was a W for us non-Frenchmen.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I came as tourists and we had our first ooey gooey romantic French experience at this restaurant all thanks to our very charming, lighthearted server named Antoine. He reminded me of Kostas from Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, so that might have helped a little bit too (I freakin' love Kostas). Upon arrival, my first impression was that I was underdressed in my Under Armour leggings and Nikes (if not underdressed, I was definitely tacky). The atmosphere and interior design reminded me of a lounge, and looking around, I saw that most people were dressed up. We were immediately greeted in French by a young man whose identity I already mentioned earlier. Antoine led us to our table by the window, and gave us our menus. He was very professional, courteous, and polite. He kept one hand behind his back, kept his eye contact with the both of us, and informed us that ordering food would be ala-carte style. He made his recommendations for both food and wine, and, of course, we went with Kostas- er *Antoine's recommendations. He recommended that we order the Scottish Prime Rib Black Angus Beef Platter and the grilled vegetables and patatas bravas (spicy tomato sauce and garlic mayonnaise) on the side. He also recommended a wine, the name I do not know in English, but on our tab it says "Verre de Beaujolais Burgaud." Our total bill came out to be $93.00 and it was worth every penny. I also want to note that my boyfriend and I are usually stingy and never spend that much money on dinner, but hey, we were in France, the stars were aligned, Kostas was here, and I wanted the magic to happen. To say that the Prime Rib was delicious would be an understatement. It was the most incredible "medium" cooked, tender, juicy, delectable, generously portioned slab of meat that I have ever moaned over. This meal was more than enough for my boyfriend and I. We could have easily shared with another couple and still have left overwhelmingly full and satisfied. The side of potatoes dipped with the garlic mayonnaise was phenomenal - so creamy, soft, and buttery. The grilled vegetables were a nice touch amongst the 1kg of meat, but I could probably do without it next time. And the red wine paired very well with the meat. It was the largest and most memorable meal that we had in France. Near the end of our meal, Antoine entertained us with some English phrases that he knew of and I also tried entertaining him with my French, which was horrible, but he kindly helped me pronounce phrases. I highly recommend making a pit stop at this restaurant if you're in the area!

Yelp
What a wonderful find in Paris. I decided to try a new tactic to find restaurants in Paris - ask waiters in a place I love where they would eat. He highly recommended Braisenville, a cute tapas restaurant, as delicious and fun. So do I! What a great late meal. I arrived at 10:30 PM on a Wednesday night and they were happy to seat me even though the kitchen closed at 11. I asked the waitress for her recommendations on what I should order that night. After a little back-and-forth I chose 3 dishes, tuna ceviche, a delicious steak, and roasted vegetables. It was a wonderful meal with really friendly English speaking staff. I'll make this a regular stop on future trips to Paris!

Yelp
This was a perfect spot for a fun, romantic night out on the town with glorious, inventive, small dishes to share in a hip and happening environment. The menu is broken down into five sections: cured meats and cheese; vegetables; fish; meat and dessert. You're advised to choose approx 3-4 dishes per person for your waiter to curate into a meal of one or two dishes at a time. Already I was in love with the hand's on, interactivity of the concept. While all of the dishes that we chose were fantastic, the items that our very friendly waiter suggested were by far the best. Special ah-ha mentions goes to the cevice and the filet mignon of pork that were extremely original in their flavor combinations and impeccable in terms of quality. My only, small gripe goes towards the service which while friendly and cool could have been a bit more polished. At times our empty plates lingered too long between courses and it was hard to grab anyone's eye. I think for the quality of the food and the originality of the concept that a just a bit more attention to the detail would have elevated the experience to a solid five stars.

Yelp
I have been traveling in France for two weeks and ended the trip in Paris for a week. This is the worst food experience I've had in several years in any country, let alone the food capital of the world. The staff were very friendly and nice, but it's all down hill from there. The food was all reheated. The vegetable plate tasted like the vegetables had gone bad. The pork shoulder had one or two bites of good meat - the rest was all fat. The cheese plate was a sad display of flimsy, sweating cheeses. The entire kitchen staff was literally standing in the kitchen doing nothing the entire time we were there, which is never a good sign. If I could give zero stars, I would. Save yourselves from this experience.

Yelp
Quaint little spot to share a meal "tapas style" on 36 Rue Condorcet. Nice wine and food pairings without the pretentiousness. Ambience was cozy, the staff was friendly and the food was good. Plates are a bit on the pricey side, but overall satisfied us for the evening.

Yelp
The MOST beautiful food! We ordered a variety of tapas, and nothing disappointed. The waiter was helpful and even gave tips for how to tip in France (after we had already tipped him). And we are American, so we were genuinely curious. The tapas was a nice mix of savory meats and vegetables. And the dessert options were perfect. Highly recommend this to both locals and tourists.

Yelp
It was the most unpleasant experience we had in paris. Food was soso, service was beyond horrible. Its so sad that one restaurant can ruin someones whole day during their vacation. Starting with getting-in: We got there little early. Chef was kindly letting us in, but waitress kicked us out with attitude and spoke french right at our face even we spoke in english. Rude, thats all I can describe. Getting-seated: Nobody was there. It seemed pretty empty and slow during weekdays dinner time, 3 tables including us for 3 hours. However they were being really difficult about seating us because we didn't make reservation. Waiter asked us to seat in the middle of 2 benches where column was sticking out of the wall. Out of at least 10-15 tables, he asked us to seat there. Really? We didnt know, but you guys already knew you guys only had 2 reservations during those time. That seat you guys offered shouldnt be a seating for anyone. Serving: I understand alot of people in paris smokes, but common. The waitress took her cigarette breaks here and there and served our dishes inbetween. A lot of times she came to serve, I could smell her cigarette, and when she was explaining dishes too. Gross. Food: We ordered about 5 dishes. Some were interesting but not necessarily good. Their ceviche which they described as "one of our very proud dish" was the most fishy thing in the world. It was pretty to look at but not editable. Their vegetable dish was good, but that was about it. Price: That poor service with average tapas place shouldn't cost more than $100 for party of 2. Cocktails: Was only good thing. Advice: Rethink of your staffing. That waitress was looking at herself through the mirror at the bar more than paying attention to customers. It was only 3 tables, it shouldn't be so difficult to get her attention to ask for more water, another drinks, etc. She was rude, unprofessional, inappropriate. I dont know how you guys got michelin stars, but I am pretty sure it was before your current staffs.

Yelp
Hands down, our best meal and overall experience throughout our two week trip to Italy and France. Small plates with inspired flavor combinations. Reservations recommended. We went on a Wednesday night, arrived a little after 8pm and they were booked for the night. Lucky for us, they asked if we wanted to sit at the bar. For those unhappy with service in Europe, this may be your best bet. Basile was behind the bar and was very knowledgeable and selected the perfect wines for us. He was also so incredibly hands-on and attentive to our needs all night as were the other servers who took the time to explain each dish as they brought it out (in perfect English, no less.) By the end of the night, we were thrilled to have the chef come out, introduce himself and personally thank us for our patronage. This was our final night in Paris and I can't think of a better way to have ended our trip on such a high, high note.

Yelp
On vacation in Paris... This place had one of the best meals I had while vacationing. The waiter was superb and spoke English. His recommendations were superb. The ambiance, food and service made love for France even stronger. Please try Baisenville and its small delightful plates.... Every bite popped with flavor!

Yelp
A unique and delicious culinary experience. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about both the food and the wine, and made multiple excellent pairings. I consider myself a pretty decent casual sommelier, but all of her pairings challenged my instincts with innovative flavor combinations that I certainly would not have discovered on my own. Staff were welcoming and friendly despite our limited command of the French language, and many staff speak English.

Yelp
Amazing food & service! Stumbled upon this tasty restaurant walking to our hotel & at the suggestion of another server at a nearby restaurant. Our hostess Emma was very helpful. VERY tasty food; definitely a must try when in Montmartre

Yelp
Everything I tasted was beyond spectacular! The staff was extremely friendly and helped guide us through the menu. Honestly, I'm not sure exactly what I was eating, but it didn't matter. Food, wine, atmosphere--all a ten!

Yelp
Some of the tapas were quite good, but with the prices they charge you expect top quality service. We spent €250 for 5 people. The waiter started by spilling a 1/4 of our bottle of sparkling wine and offering a single 2oz shooter in return. They had no beer, nor did they have the only affordable bottle of white wine on the menu. Lastly, they added an extra item to our bill. Overall, it was one of those experiences where the waiter made us feel like he was doing us a favor by serving us.

Charly M.

Yelp
Don't expect to be treated well as a client in this restaurant. Even though we had a reservation, we had to wait over half an hour to be seated. While waiting they offered us a drink but that 'offering' was on our own account. They "have protocols and NEVER EVER offer drinks when clients have to wait" we learned. So far for hospitality. This would actually be acceptable if the staff would explain you in a proper manner, not while throwing ten cents at you saying they give you a gift in return. The food is decent but not worth it considering you're treated as a walking wallet. One star, no more.

Yelp
So hipster-licious it hurts. Mustaches, high waisted jeans and canvas flats abound. It felt like the Mission or Brooklyn... Paris has been infected with the Hipster virus and this place is frothing at the mouth! On the food side, the food was amazing, though portions a little on the precious side. The server was really playful and the menu is correspondingly playful. In fact the name is a play on words for "Baise en Ville" which basically means your overnight f*ck bag. But "braise" like beef instead of "baise" like "f*ck". I guess even the playful name ties back to the hipster (millennial) cultural place this place seems to emanate from-- unique experiences are prized above all else. Social currency, baby! And this place delivers a great EXPERIENCE. Interactive, visually stimulating and playful flavors that keep you guessing. Really well done and highly recommend. And get the mystery dessert-- really a great way to end the night, guessing with your friends what all is in it. I dare you to leave your phone off and not post a thing to social media :)

Yelp
So good, I signed up for Yelp just to review it (this is my first-ever Yelp review). The food was amazing, and the service was outstanding! Emma was especially helpful, walking us through the menu and suggesting great wine pairings (in English, which was very good). I think the Emulsion de Ratte du Toquet may be the best-tasting thing I've ever hadm, anywhere. We ordered a second one, it was just so amazing. This was the perfect Last Night in Paris meal; the best we had the entire time, and so memorable! Will definitely be back the next time we visit Paris!

L H.

Yelp
Oh my gosh- we stumbled upon this place and they were kind enough to seat us without a reservation. Their plates are similar to tapas sized but it was all INCREDIBLE. The whipped potatoes and mushrooms, beef, etc were all better than the last. It was by far in our top three restaurant experiences in Paris.

Michael R.

Yelp
Superb small dishes creative and unique with fabulous wine pairings and excellent service ala Hakeem. Here for 10 days and this was our best meal.
