We were lucky to have weather that was lovely, although it was a bit cool and fresh, the sun was shining. A nice fresh winter's day. The kangaroos lazying in the sun, few Emu, and a kookaburra. Its a place I will return to for more adventures, during the summertime.

Dropped by here in the late afternoon. Not sure whether it wasn't opened or already closed for the day. Anyway it was worth coming and exploring the outside of the Centre.

Amazing place to explore the rich Aboriginal heritage of the region. The exhibits are engaging, and the staff are incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming. A must-visit for anyone in Halls Gap—an experience that truly enriches your understanding of the local culture!

information center open, but cultural center/museum closed due to water damage(?). cafe was also closed. information center sells a number of nice and interesting souvenirs and local products. worth checking out, but probably only indeed the cultural center is open. walking through to a large grass patch after the cultural center found us a number of emus and a few kangaroos!

The staff are friendly, welcoming and full of knowledge that they are happy to share. The artwork and items for sale are all authentic Indigenous, which is really important for integrity and for the artists creating such beautiful items. Lots of choices for fabulous gifts here! There is a good range of books to extend and deepen one’s knowledge — there is always more to learn— and lots of free information for visitors and campers in the area.

A must see/do experience whilst visiting the Grampians. The film is very entertaining with the history of the area, from many perspectives. The cafe & gift shop are a delight. Try the Lemon Myrtle Scones with a coffee.... unreal, delicious. A memorable experience.

I remember when this was being built and although it still looks good, some of the displays are getting tired, although the information is still good. Located just outside of Halls Gap you can walk or ride along well made paths. Inside is a small cafe where you can dine on fresh food and refreshments. Outside are some excellent interpretation boards that give a history of the area and the life prior to white settlement. The retail shop is extensive with lots of interesting items. There is plenty of parking under the shaded gums. The place is wheelchair friendly and in fact you can motor on your wheelchair from town to the centre. Very kid friendly with lots for the little ones to do. I would say you could spend at s minimum and hour here. There are tours available as well. Enjoy.

The original building which has been here for years is closed sign says it’s going to be renovated. The information centre has little information available which I was very disappointed. There is a gift shop but was a bit expensive. Was hoping to get a good map with clearly showed all the wonderland and surrounds walks. There doesn’t seem to be one available anywhere in Halls Gap. inside there is also a cafe which was closed, possibly effected by covid lack of staff. It has a lovely outside eating area. So when that is open as I assume it will be at some point or maybe only in peak times it would be a lovely lunch spot. There is a couple of walking tracks but not much to get exited about. Lots of parking.

Yelp
No, you cannot spend a weekend in the Grampians without spending some time devoted to the first inhabitants who have lived in this area for over 5,000 years. This cultural centre is award winning, it was designed in the shape of a cockatoo. You get the opportunity to learn all about the beautiful Aboriginal culture. There are films in the theatre (for a small price, and they run almost every hour, call ahead to double check). They have a room for activities where you can decorate your own boomerang. As you meander about, you learn the significance of the culture, and what the land meant to these people. You learn of their fate once Europeans settlers came in and how they were taken advantage of. It was heart wrenching to read about, I found myself getting a sense of anger and sadness in how ignorant people were and can be. It can shake a person up. *Bring a gold coin donation to enter* The gift shop you enter and exit through. I must say, this gift shop is hands down the best most authentic I've been to in Australia. Most of the products are created by Aboriginal artists. High five to supporting the Cultural Centre! And I must note, the cafe. The Bush Tucker Cafe has some fun traditionally bush tucker foods. Haven't had kangaroo or croc or emu yet? Give it a go. When in Rome right?

Yelp
I can't say much about it because I came here in winter and I did everything I wanted to do by myself but this is the perfect place to plan your activities for your stay. Some rangers will happily help you and inform you about the park. AND A small cafe inside where I had a gorgeous sweet potato, bacon and red pepper soup. Yummmmmmy You can taste some "bush food" here as well, kangaroo pie, croc salad, emu... Haven't tried but you can give it a go !

Yelp
Great display of history of traditional owners but disappointing service by staff. Had to wait while one staff served, though other staff member available. If you want anything to eat or drink make sure you get there early as eatery appears to close right in 1600 hours.
