Brandberg Rest Camp Uis Namibia

Nice place to stay with a pool and decent rooms. Stayed here night one of our tour and pleasantly surprised. Had one of the rooms and it had everything you need. Super comfortable, plus a pool to cool off in. Also, was treated to the barista machine in the morning and it was an excellent coffee.

Simple place, clean, beds comfortable, AC didn't work but it was okay without it and we didn't wanna make a fuss about it. Only problem: no drinking water available, only bottled water which you have to pay extra for. We were surprised by this since all other accomodations always had drinking water for free (and you will need lots of it every days since it will be hot). Also, almost no vegetarian options on the menu, so we went to a cafe in town which had a rather wide selection. Was okay for a short stay.

After a very hectic day Visiting Brandberg Rest Camp was like finding an Oasis in Namib desert. Service excellent very friendly and helpful staff. Affordable prices for food service to very hungry travelers.

The campsites and ablutions were clean. The onsite restaurant prepares good quality food. We only stayed for one night but had a pleasant stay.

Incredible place to have a family stay.||||Comfortable beds, aircon and nice large bathroom/ shower.||||Really solid food (eisbein every day!!!) and good prices.||||Safe, secure and as much parking you will ever want for your 4 X 4, trailers, caravans or anything else you drove up. There was even a school bus parked up at one point!||||Only downsides preventing a 5-star rating from me was :||||1. Room cleaning. I do not care about beds and stuff as everyone should make their own bed anyway. But the trash in our room was building up and I did not know what to do with it. Likewise the bath towels were all wet and it was unclear if there was a laundry room somewhere on site where we could get them cleaned and dry. The service lady was about everyday but just seemed to skip our room.||||2. The pricing for tours and excursions was not clear. Not a huge issue but knowing all costs upfront really helps to manage the holiday budget with confidence.

We stayed in a poolside room for the event, comfortable room, great staff and the food was typical home cooking. Basil was a great host for the event. All in all was a fantastic long weekend.

I loved Mr Basel. If you travelling around it js a very good spot for rest and food. Love to you!!!

This is a very basic and tired camp site. There was only hot water for showers in the evenings, the electricity sockets didn't work nor did the wifi. There is no restaurant or shop, just a bar that is open for a few hours in the evening.
