Brandenburg Gate

Visited multiple times when in Berlin for Marathon, easy to get to via metro/subway. It looks better at night when the lights are on.

Potsdam is a beautiful place and easy to reach from Berlin. A very nice square with shops and Cafe . Good idea for one day excursion

A traditional landmark at the entrance to Potsdam’s pedestrian zone. It’s a beautiful sight and a popular photo opportunity for both tourists and locals. Anyone nearby should not miss the chance to visit. It’s simply a must-see when staying in Potsdam.

Potsdam is a beautiful city . Lots of great shops and a fantastic museum for film and arts . Many Hollywood films were made here .Also German films from the 30s. Its well worth a visit also close by are the brilliant palaces of Fredrick 2nd the prussian king 1750s. As potsdam was in the east of Old Germany you'll see the Russian influence also .

Lots of people and traffic. May be challenging to get a good picture. Worth seeing as it is seen in so many historic photos.

People probably don’t realise there is this Brandenburg gate as well as the other famous one. This is in Potsdam and the place in general is very nice to visit. It’s all being rebuilt in the style of the past when it was destroyed. So it feels a little like a Disney set as so new. The gate itself is nice to look at but nothing to actually do with it.

Potsdam is calm and beautiful place around Berlin, and if you go there you should visit Brandenburg Tor. A huge open area. Down the street there are many local cafes and bakeries. All the way towards the end you will find yourself on another tourist places.
