Just back from spending 2 nights here on our pups first holiday. I was super impressed with the room as there were patio doors leading straight outside into a beautiful area which I was not expecting at all! The room itself was spotless and plenty of space for our pups crate. Bathroom was spotless too with lovely soft towels. The food was delicious and the chef went about and beyond for our daughter. All staff were so friendly and helpful and made us feel so welcome on our stay and were so accommodating with our pup. The views are phenomenal and perfect for walking our pup and letting him explore. We will certainly be back!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Nice sized rooms with some outside space and seating. We stayed d,b and b and the food was excellent. Particularly recommend the brose - porridge with honey, whiskey and cream. And the sticky toffee pudding with ice cream. Excellent! It was further out of Oban than I anticipated but the beautiful location compensated. The owners David and Christine are a lovely hard working couple, as are all the staff.

My wife and I really loved our stay here! We stayed for 2 nights and definitely would come back! The room was clean, bed really comfy too! The food was outstanding too! The fish and chips were amazing, honestly up there with the best chips I’ve had too, the fish was great, but you usually never get chips to match the tastiness of the fish! My wife has a medical issue where she can’t eat certain things, and the chef was very accommodating indeed! I would say if you do have any medical conditions, message them in advance and I’m sure they will have what you need for when you get there! The scenery was out of this world too and nice walks to go on too! All in all, loved it! Great staff, very friendly and warm! Could’nt ask for a better experience! The couple that run the place are a real credit to the place, and so are all the staff to be fair!

I stayed at this hotel last night and disappointed doesn't come close to how I feel. We were hoping to use this hotel as our wedding reception and wanted to try it out first. I'll start with the 2 huge plus points. The location is stunning and the food is fantastic. Now the let down from arrival. No sign to reception to check in. Bistro doors were closed at 3pm so random unsigned hallway leads to an open plan office. Call number and I'm quickly greeted by David who checks me in. Room 2 is a Superior Superking. Enter and the carpet hadn't been hoovered. Questionable marks about 7ft high on wall, dirty table, socket switch broken off, inside of kettle burnt, bedside lamp broken, mould on back of curtain and around window, unbelievable dusty to the point where a large dead spider on the phone was covered in it. Bathroom, more mould everywhere, chipped glass, mirror light broken and missing bulb. Shower head holder broken. Cigarette butts on patio area. Not a great nights sleep as the walls are paper thin and even though there were probably no more than 10 people staying you could hear everything. Breakfast experience wasn't very good either. Nobody there to welcome you. Grab a table, go get a look warm coffee (wasnt using the kettle in the room) and eventually the chef who was doubling up as the waiter (he was great btw and is wasted at this venue) comes and takes our order. Lovely cooked breakfast (continental left a lot to be desired). Check out there is a drop box but a female member of staff took our room key. No mention of how our stay was just asked our room number. We had just booked our wedding venue at St. Conan's Kirk and wanted to get a true feeling for the place. What was a special day for us was left with a sour taste after this experience. I really hope the cleaning and hospitality issues are looked at because what could be an amazing hotel is a huge let down.

Lovely food, really comfortable bed, local beer brewed specifically for the owner a must try. Lovely unmanicured ( makes it better ) gardens down to the river to wander....views up along the river valley are spectacular...and the night skies are amazing if you can avoid cloud, the owner is very approachable and friendly and all the staff are down to earth, professional and much more can do than the corporate '5' star staff of bigger establishments, a special nod to Liam for his customer service. ...

Great weekend in this hotel, Check in was quick and easy with David, very cosy room with patio with great views, large tv with free view, extra large comfortable bed, We had dinner first night in the bistro and was waited on by a lovely girl (sorry forgot her name) we had Scottish nachos and garlic mushrooms to start and fish and chips and homemade steak pie for mains, food was lovely, we had a full Scottish breakfast each morning which was delicious, great produce, we spoke with Allan the chef on the first morning who provided recommendations in the area and we also mentioned an issue with the TV channels in our room just in general chat but when we arrived back to our room later that day the issue had been fixed, this was above and beyond exceptional service by Allan, This hotel is a hidden gem.

Yelp
We just had a wonderful night stay at this beautiful hotel. My husband has motor neuron disease and the owner went out of his way to help our stay to be a very comfortable one. Food is top quality (I highly recommend the steak and ale pie) Rooms are beautiful and comfy bed. We will be returning for a longer stay next day Mr & Mrs Brand

Yelp
excellent comfy hotel, refurbished rooms were like 4star at least. Nothing was too much trouble for staff
