Brasão Foz Brewery

My husband and I ate at Brasão Foz Brewery on one of our last evenings in Porto, and it was very good; however, the service was hit and miss. We were initially greeted by a very enthusiastic waitress who seated us right away and didn't waste any time with her recommendations. It was a bit too much for us, so we felt obliged to order the cocktail she recommended. Unfortunately, it was far too sweet, and we didn't enjoy it as much as we'd hoped. The waitress never returned after that, and we had to flag down another waitress to order our food. Once ordered, it came out in no time. The blooming onion was tasty, as was the croquette; I just wish there had been more than one served. The main course was also good, but the cheese sauce on the traditional fish dish was a bit too overpowering for me, and I was unable to taste the other delights within the dish.

Been in Porto for a couple days, and I’m so glad I’ve had my first ever Francesinha here. Place is lovely, service was great. Clara was wonderful, she kindly explained everything to me and even offered some extra sauce. Would defined come back to Porto just to come eat here again

We made a reservation so that everything would go smoothly. We arrived and William treated us with the utmost respect and politeness. Sympathy and empathy for a couple and a 6-year-old daughter had a perfect experience. Super helpful, from advising on dishes and wine to talking to my 6-year-old daughter. Everything went well. We sat at a very cozy table. I didn't feel pressured into anything and we were very comfortable... Congratulations to the chef as the food was excellent. I came here on the advice of a friend and I will advise all my friends! It's been a while since we've had this kind of service. It's a pleasure to spend money and feel appreciated and welcome... thank you very much and see you next time Brasão Foz, William and the whole team! And my daughter even got a little treat at the end of dinner 💞

Brasão Foz was a highlight of my time in Porto. The space is beautiful—elegant but inviting—and the service was outstanding. Every staff member was kind, professional, and made me feel right at home. I booked easily online the day before, and everything went smoothly. I had the Zucchini Tartare with Vegetable Croquettes, and it was delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly textured. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food and a warm atmosphere in Porto. I’ll definitely return!

My first time in Porto. The atmosphere is very pleasant. Food is typical and good. My waiter’s name is Teo: very very kind. Well done.

The restaurant itself is already wonderful, two stories and a garden terrace, a cozy and calm location with beautiful interiors. The food is really special, very tasty and authentic, and has a nice selection of wines. It's not just a restaurant but an experience - for a reasonable price.

great fish and meat coquettes especially!! (not pictured bc we ate them too fast), but also the steak and turnip greens were delicious. we had a traditional dessert that was a favorite as well.

What a gem! Great food at very fair prices. Staff is very friendly and attentive with great recommendations. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with a thoughtful eye to detail, from plates to glasses. We hope to be back soon!
