Enjoyed every minute there. Very friendly staff , nice cocktails and atmosphere pretty good for a bar. We also got there during happy hour, thus it was double shot 👍 definitely will come back again.

Super cozy tiki Hut vibe. Good music, nice staff, great cocktails. Just overall fun place.

Not a bad place. Too small though. There's a dj but not a "natural" dance floor. Tables have to be moved to make space for a dancefloor and you basically have to dance where people have to walk to get to the bar. Not practical. That being said the ambiance is really cool and if they only had half the people in there, then it wouldn't be bad. Also the people working there are really nice. The only thing not working for it is the lack of space.

If you wouldn't know this place was here, you wouldn't even notice it! The outside of this place tells nothing about the inside. It's a fun decorated cocktailbar with a good variety of drinks. Personnel is super friendly and fast!

I made a reservation and we ordered the big cocktails they had. However, be prepared to be pushed to share the reserved table with others. Cocktails were ok. Very busy place.

Cool place for a drink, not the most sophisticated cocktails (mostly driven by sugar) but it's charming overall.

Yelp
When traveling, you must check out the Tiki bars. At least, I think so. Some you can tell from the get-go are going to be cheesy dives. But others are an escape to another world. BrassMonkey falls somewhere in between, but definitely closer to an escape. Afterall, it's in Copenhagen which is decidedly non-tropical in most ways. In addition to checking out BrassMonkey for its inherent tiki-ness, my girlfriend and I went back a second night for a ska/reggae night being held. Some skinheads were djing on the second floor and it was a really good time. The drinks were not the most authentic of tiki and seemed a little on the weak side. However, the bartenders were really nice and were giving out rounds of shots the second night we attended. Should I find myself back in wonderful Copenhagen, so will I find myself back in BrassMonkey.

Yelp
This is atypical Copenhagen, a full on tiki bar with straw huts and pacific islandish interior. All drinks are rum based (arrrrrr, you skally wags) and pretty strong. They also do drinks for several people served in a ship!!. Top tip, you get the island feeling for a lot less than it would cost you to go to an actual island.

Yelp
This place is something special... the drinks are unique, thoughtful and adventurous. The quality is outstanding and the dedication to making a perfect drink is admirable. If you want to try something out of the ordinary and challenge your taste pallet, this is the place for you!

Yelp
Weird. Weird, weird, weird, weird, weird. There's a sort of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom-theme going on here, which is weird. They serve drinks out of volcanos (don't have one), and bizarre monkey cups (don't have that one either). It's full of very, very drunk Norwegian girls, and, that's the end of this review.

Yelp
Never heard if the place as was told they didn't accepted credit cards (which they do). Very mixed and random crowd but a great atmosphere. Almost like a dark alley bar in the Southern Hemisphere. Friendly bartenders and cocktails with rum, rum, rum and more rum. Ordered a gin/tonic - not possible you can get a rum/tonic cos they only have rum but a great place to go for a fun/chilled night.

Yelp
If you are looking for a different yet fun bar experience with your friends this is the place to go! Brass Monkey is difficult to find because there are no signs from the outside, yet as soon as you come inside the room is filled with Tikki decor and funky music. The (yet expensive drinks on the) menu has everything to offer from Zombie drinks (with 5 different kinds of rum) to the pitches or so-called Ships to share for 4 people. The bartenders in Hawaiian shirts set fire to the drinks served in glasses formed as coconuts and monkey heads. Brass Monkey has become one of my favorite bars in Copenhagen and a must-try!!

Yelp
Went to this bar early September and loved it! The cocktails were well made and suitably boozy - only what you expect from Copenhagen largest rum collection - the bar staff were super friendly (and cute) and managed to create amazing cocktails for our pickiest member of the group. It was quiet - but I think that was as it was because it was a Thursday - I bet Friday / Saturday would be mint!
