The craft brewery of Brassefort is located in this tiny shopfront in the old-town of Chinon. Simon, the proprietor and master brewer knows how to create an impressive variety of very easy drinking, superbly balanced beers. He is charming and extremely helpful and informative. Do yourself a favour and drop in for tasting.

Brassefort is a really lovely shop/brewery run by a very helpful and friendly Englishman. They sell 4 different beers brewed right there in the shop! Prices are more than reasonable. All were delicious but I myself liked beer #3 the most. Took a gift box home for my family and they loved it. Would definitely recommend a visit!
