5 new bars and restaurants to try on your next trip to Sydney - SilverKris

"A luxurious hotel brasserie born from a collaboration between an acclaimed hospitality group and an international hotel brand, positioned as a high-end destination that spotlights Australian produce and native ingredients. Led by experienced restaurateurs, the menu includes refined, shareable and seasonal dishes such as Rangers Valley beef tartare with mustard, capers and eschallots, coal-roasted Murray cod with pepperberry butter, Kinross Station lamb rump with carrot and harissa, and a signature whole duck with dry-aged breast and sausage intended for sharing. The wine list draws on deep cellar resources to balance old and new, iconic and emerging producers, and conventional and natural bottlings." - Pilar Mitchell

We absolutely loved our experience at Brasserie 1930 last night. Their new spring menu is outstanding – the duck is hands down the best in town. Service is truly at the level of a luxury hotel: attentive, thoughtful, and full of those little details that make our evening special. The team was so friendly and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere that’s perfect for my catching up with friends without feeling crowded or rushed. We were celebrating a friend’s promotion, and to our delight, the staff surprised us with a small gesture of congratulations chocolate that made the night even more memorable. Wonderful food, impeccable service, and an ambience that balances elegance with comfort – highly recommended and cannot wait to be back.

Found a great spot for a nice evening out. The food is generous, reasonably priced, and served without any rush or crowding. Drinks are excellent, and the atmosphere makes it perfect for date nights, family catch-ups, or even with kids. It’s an all-rounder, decent to exceptional food, exceptional service, and a relaxed vibe. I’ll definitely be back for both work lunches and evening drinks.

Celebrated our anniversary here, We had excellent service from beginning to end. Chef was able to provide many options for my dairy/soy/egg intolerance. Very impressed with the overall quality and taste of the meal’s. The raw tuna in blackberry was my favourite. Ambience was lovely, the hotel itself was lovely to walk through. Friendly and helpful staff

Most of the food are good apart from the rump cap which is a touch too burn for me and the meat was hard. Good service but they charged additional service fee for group dining.

Gorgeous place. We came for lunch. Service is good - could be a bit more attentive and not so hierarchical as there are so manage managers around but they wait for the staff to attend rather than themselves! Food is delicious. Fresh, flavoursome and just perfect. It is on the pricier side but worth it

Nestled within a stunning hotel, Brasserie 1930 boasts a decor and ambiance that are nothing short of sublime—a perfect blend of elegance and charm. Having visited this incredible establishment four times in the past six weeks, I can confidently say that it consistently delivers an exceptional dining experience. My most recent visit was for lunch on Thursday, December 19, 2024. To my surprise, former Prime Minister Tony Abbott was dining just a few tables away, adding an unexpected touch of intrigue to the afternoon. As for the food, it is simply phenomenal. Over my visits, I have savored the melt-in-your-mouth lamb shoulder, the perfectly grilled chicken with its juicy tenderness, the prawn and chili pasta that delivers a delightful kick with its harmonious blend of flavors, and the ribeye steak, which was cooked to perfection and bursting with robust, savory notes. Each dish was artfully prepared, offering a symphony of textures and flavors that left me craving more. The wine list is equally impressive, featuring an extensive and thoughtfully curated selection of exquisite options. With a diverse array of vintages and varietals, there’s something to suit every palate. The wines are vibrant, refined, and pair beautifully with the dishes, enhancing the overall dining experience. Brasserie 1930 is a true culinary gem, and I’ll undoubtedly be back again. It’s a place that embodies excellence, making it a must-visit destination for any food and wine lover.
