It’s very taste, it is good atmosphere and good service a bit and untypically for Dutch restaurants in a good way 🫶

Nice spot for a drink and small bite to eat. The service is a bit slow and the wait staff seemed a bit confused (kept bringing food from the kitchen and not knowing where to take it) but if you are not in a rush it is fine. The food was really great - a perfect blend of flavors and textures. The home made ice tea was very sweet so I wouldn’t have it again. Overall a great place and I would come back.

A place to NEVER get back. As a certain customer arrived - no reservation sign on the table, the attendants started asking me to move to another table, every 2 minutes, with PLENTY of tables available, as the pictures show. I ordered the bill and left after so much embarrassment. I was almost finishing, and it would not take 5 minutes, so they could have waited a little bit. AND they could have avoided the embarrassing situation and this horrible review.

Elegant, relaxing place, perfect for a coffee/ breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. I had a Chai tea latte and an ‘afterparty breakfast’ - eggs, melted cheese, cherry tomatoes and purple onions. Everything was good 👍🏼

The atmosphere here is lovely and so is the service. I did not care much for the food. Too much effort goes into presentation and too little to the taste. Unfortunately.

I went for breakfast early this morning and the restaurant was still fairly quiet. I ordered Hollands ontbijt and a mocha, which was my first meal since visiting the city. It was delicious. I took my time to finish and by the time I left, the place was nearly packed with patrons. I enjoyed the atmosphere and meal, and I certainly recommend it.

Nice cozy atmosphere had been for some wine and short eats . Overall a good experience.

Cozy place, great for a quick lunch. The chevre salad is one of the best and the veggie burguer is also worth it. Great place to go people-watching and no touristis at all!

Got the twaalfuurtje visvariant and the jofferbol zalm. They were both delicious! Perfect portions. We got the pumpkin soup w the the former and that was good. Had ginger in it. Enjoyed a pot of tea. I would come back here again. It was very nice

I stopped here for brunch when in Amsterdam for a quick work trip and was very happy with my choice. The staff was friendly and the selection of food was great.

-Great location in Oud Zuid on Cornelius Schuytstraat -Has a nice patio area but then also a cozy interior -Excellent service - some of the friendliest waiters and waitresses I've encountered in Amsterdam -Food is definitely above average especially for the price. Excellent Value -Fast service so a nice place to go during the week if you don't have time to sit for 2-3 hours

Brasserie De Joffers did not disappoint morning, noon, or night! Not only were prices reasonable, food was consistently good. Decor was unmistakably French. We ate here several times for breakfast and dinner. Definitely had a strong following of clientele. There was a vegetarian pasta entree that was excellent. I preferred scones in the morn, and mum went for this kind of toast with strawberries. Great cappys. I will definitely return next time I'm in A'dam.

Unfortunately I must amend my previous rating... After several meals at de Joffers over past few months, all of them more satisfying than the other, we thought we had found our neighborhood gem, the place ones go to without any worries about what you are going to get, that is great food at good price point!!!!! And then, on our last visit, we are presented with a revamped menu on which all the savory special dishes (oso bucco, seafood stew) have been deleted, and replaced by ... Burgers !!! And to make thinks a bit worse, the quality has gone down. Not good , not good at all Feels like there has been a change in chef, an obvious downgrade. Regrettable , most regrettable

This is a nice place especially for lunches, a couple of wines, they even have a couple of cocktails on their menu and nice snacks to go with those... What I like about their cosy terrace is that it's always open. Even in winter. Than they'll heat it. And you'll be save from rain, so no worries. Staff is most attentive.

Sehr schöne, klassische, im alten Stil eingerichtete Brasserie, südlich des Vondelpark. bei gutem Wetter kann man an typischen Brasseriestühlen- und -tischen vor dem Café sitzen. wir waren Sonntags zum Frühstücken da und hatten für 11,5 € das Hollands onbijt inkl. Cappuccino, Croissant, Brötchen, Zwieback, Honigkuchen, Ei, Marmelade, Butter, 2 Scheiben Gouda, Cherrytomaten, völlig in Ordnung also und auch schön angerichtet.

De Joffers was excellent for Sunday brunch. My friend and I went here during our stay in Amsterdam when we were looking for a place to eat that was near the Van Gogh museum that had good ratings. After chatting with the extremely friendly waitress about the menu, we ordered the mushroom Joffer roll and the toast Florentine, along with the "Amsterdam French Toast". The toast Florentine was good, as was the "french toast," but the Joffer Roll was out of this world. The goat cheese added a new layer of creaminess and richness, but the earthy truffles and mushroom kept it savory and balanced. My friend and I vowed to come back tomorrow after we devoured the plate. It was one of the most excellent egg dishes I've ever had, if not the best. Highly highly recommend this beautiful little spot!

I stayed at the Hilton Amsterdam and walked across the bridge to this restaurant (close by are some grocery stores and a wine shop). Sat outside under a heated awning. Service was excellent - friendly and prompt. I had the mushroom ravioli and a glass of wine, with the bill coming to 20 euros. For a quick "business meal", it was very good.

This used to be an amazing place. I was hoping to give it a better rating, but that wouldn't be fair. Over the years, the food has gotten simpler, the service slower and ruder. My last visit beat everything; we've waited 45 minutes for two salads. There were very few guests. The waitress acted offended when I asked her about the food after 30 minutes or so. I wish the place would get a new owner or something because the location is nothing short of stunning and it's such a waste.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere and dining at joffers while visiting the area. So much so that we visited two times. The service was warm and accommodating. we were traveling with 2 children and the staff welcomed them happily with milk, kids sized meals and patience :) the snack sampler was filling for 2 adults and the spring rolls were crispy and delicious. The potato wedges (different from the regular frites) were outstanding! Great job jofferso and thank you!

Great little spot with outdoor seating and good people watching. Excellent coffee, salads, sandwiches.
