Brasserie des Prés

Without exaggerating, this was my favorite restaurant in Paris. What an incredible place. The food was SO good I almost cried — and I’m not even kidding. Pro tip: make a reservation, but if you don’t have one, don’t stress too much, they do have a line for walk-ins, and since the restaurant has three floors, the wait wasn’t terrible. Totally worth it. We were seated next to the kitchen, and honestly that was an experience on its own. Watching the teamwork, the energy, the way everyone moved together it was amazing 🫶🏻 We had the French onion soup and it was INCREDIBLE. Then the flank steak with fries, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. And the beef bourguignon… this is the dish that almost made me cry. Absolutely unreal and for dessert we had the Paris-Brest, and once again, words are not enough 🤤🤤🤤🤤 Everyone was so kind and welcoming. I read in another review: “the kind of restaurant that serves great food and serves it well the kind you’d come back to again and again. 10/10.” And honestly, that’s exactly right 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Thank you for making my husband’s birthday such a special and unforgettable experience 🫶🏻🇫🇷

The food was fantastic. I had the deviled eggs and the Pâté en Croûte for starters both were delicious. My main was the beef tartar which was incredibly flavorful. For dessert the cream brûlé which was amazing as well. The restaurant was very busy so a reservation is recommended. I did not have one and ended up waiting about 30 minutes which wasn’t terrible. The staff works fast and they are incredibly nice. Munna was a very helpful and efficient server.

We had a wonderful experience at Brasserie des Prés. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately without a reservation. The service throughout our meal was excellent—attentive, friendly, and highly professional. The food was absolutely perfect and delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, making the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. A great place that we highly recommend. Be sure to visit the second floor and the restroom, both of which feature their own unique and charming décor.

We had a 7:00pm reservation and were the first to be seated in a beautiful room with green velvet bench seating. Our server was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. We wanted traditional French food for our last night in Paris and had escargot and beef bourginion and profiteroles.

My favorite restaurant in Paris so far! Had lunch and dinner on separate days, and both were amazing. The lineup for no reservations is great, so you can still get in (just have to wait). They seat you upstairs, and on the main level for people with reservations. The beef tartare is the best I had, and I had it on this trip from Prague to Strasbourg / Colmar to Paris daily. The beef flank steak (with fries) was tender and flavorful. The beef bourguignon was really good. Had the catch of the day, loved the black rice with it. Dessert was delicious too, loved the Paris-Brest. The standout is their house-made foie gras! Chef’s kiss all around. We had different servers on different days and they were all very friendly and welcoming. It’s the kind of restaurant that serves the best food and serves it well, that you would return again and again. 10/10

This spot feels elevated without trying too hard. It has that classic French influence but still feels current and comfortable. Good place for a date or a dinner where you actually want to sit, talk, and take your time. The bar upstairs is a strong move too. Solid place to grab a drink before or after dinner and keep the night going. Wine selection is legit. Plenty of options whether you are into bold reds or something lighter and easy. I ordered the steak with the pepper sauce and that sauce was the highlight of the whole plate. Rich, deep, and packed with flavor. Honestly could have put that sauce on anything.was great to dip my fries in. Only knock was the steak was on the tougher end of things. Not inedible, just not as tender as I expected for the price point. Dessert closed it out right. The creme brulee was absolutely delicious, perfectly prepped and had a glass surface. The baked pear dessert, cant remember the name, was surprisingly good and not overly sweet. Only real downside is the tables can feel a little cramped when it gets busy. Overall still a solid choice for a quality night out. Dress up or down and youll still fit in.

Perfect French experience. Beautiful restaurant with great food. Duck was amazing and desserts too. Don't order staje with fries but the rest was perfect :) PS: Make reservation couple of weeks before you come. They are always full :)

We had a really lovely birthday dinner here. Ideal location on a buzzing street, I’d recommend booking ahead as it gets busy. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly. We had comté and the fried chickpea sticks to start, followed by the vegetable pastry and the duck, and an espresso martini. Fantastic experience.
