I love Brasserie Francois! My fav when I come to Belgium. The best brasserie in Belgium. Everything is delicious and the new chef Maxime is great. Amazing service and atmosphere. Can’t go wrong with going to Brasserie Francois for true Belgian food. Recommend to sit outside if the weather is good.

Summary: Beautiful building with a nice, spacious terrace. Good Franco-Belge food with friendly service. A nice selection of Belgian beers! Came here for lunch with a group and we had the menu. I chose the Ballotine au volaille and soufflé au grand marnier. A cup of wine is included but frankly I prefer the local beers because the wine isn't very good. The ballotine was good but it was dry, possibly overcooked (?) luckily there was some sauce around it to give some moisture to the dish. The sauce had intense flavors so that was very pleasurable to eat. The gratin was delicious! I loved that they baked it in that shape, it meant more crispy layers outside and soft, creamy potatoes inside🥰 The dessert was surprising because I was expecting a soufflé but an ice cream came out so the name was confusing. Anyway, It was an ice cream with notes of orange and a shot of grand marnier. I didn't like it that much but given the hot weather, it was pleasing to eat.

Had a great dinner here! The staff didn’t speak much English, but they were really polite and kind. Hot water refill is supposed to be chargeable, but they gave us a pot for free — such a nice gesture. Really appreciated it. Not gonna say too much… a picture says it all when it comes to food!

A classic all day restaurant almost in the center of Namur, with an extended menu. After visiting on 3 different occasions, quality and prices are confirmed good. The best is certainly the impressive decor and friendly mood. This location is an excellent middle ground when you want to meet old friends all scattered around the country.

Delicious food in a classy restaurant. I couldn't fault it. Not cheap, but, oh so good. The service was excellent and the choice of wines and dishes to die for. I loved my oysters followed by saddle of hare (last night in Belgium, so I pushed the boat out). So glad I went there. Would love to eat there again! Extra points for having good wines available in half bottles and nice tables available for lone eaters like myself.

2023.08//We were pleasantly surprised by the taste of the dishes: interesting recipe of mussels with crab sauce, and an absolutely delicious crab ravioli dish, for which I would come back here. as a dessert we chose “Ile flottante” and Strawberry with ice-cream, which were balanced in taste and aromas. It’s a nice and cosy atmosphere inside, a little bit to warm for my taste, but we had no other option considering that the terrace was closed and it was raining anyway.

Nice dishes & friendly service. As it took long or my drinks where forgotten I have to reduce the total rating. Anyway, less crowded I would come back, as starter & main dish were of good quality & the ambiente outside was quite nice & unexpected.

Yelp
We went here for work and a local recommended this place for us. It was in the busy part of the city center and we were close to a university. There were a lot of young people walking around and parking was tough. The neighborhood was charming and the restaurant is in a large 2 story building with neon lights. It's right next to a very old gothic church which was really cool. Lots of food and drink options, so much so it felt a little like Cheesecake Factory. Dishes from all over the world. Service was really slow like everywhere we went, it's normal so just expect that. Food was decent and the variety was good for a large group:

Yelp
We were looking for dinner while staying in town for holiday. We decided to try this place given it looked like authentic Belgium brasserie experience (also many other restaurants were closed on Monday). The interior is beautiful. We would have sat on their terrace but rain was approaching so we sat in their back room, which was fine but a bit hot and stuffy. There were many classic brasserie choices on the menu. The white asparagus with smoked salmon was very good. The trout was good but a bit bland. The prices were fair. Our waiter was efficient. We would recommend to others.

Yelp
Enjoyable brasserie in the center of Namur. The back terrace is exceptionally pleasant. We had been looking for a place called "Brasserie Henry" which was here at this same address so apparently they changed names and/or ownership. The service was kind of old school. The senior captain was kind of a caricature of an old bumbling waiter (and he brought stuff to the wrong table), but our server was much more adept. I had to use my mediocre French as their English isn't great. **We both got the plat du jour, which was some fish on top of greens and vegetables - hit the spot at 13.50 EUR. **Older kid is on a tartare kick, he got veal tartare, which I think had some cilantro, and bell peppers **Little one got "fishsticks", which turned out to be a pretty nice fish fillet **The special dessert was excellent: it was a kind of pancake, with brandied cherries and almond ice cream (9 EUR) **Quaffable rose by the half carafe
