I had dinner on a Monday evening. The restaurant was full, and the surroundings were nice. But the food was nothing special, and it was rather expensive. I asked for my steak medium, but it was not. From the outside, the view of the restaurant was rather stylish, and I am sure many were sitting by the window and drinking champagne, which could be nice. But I would not go there for the food.

Service: super friendly staff and very welcoming, was able to accommodate all our requests, and provided great recommendations. Overall, the service was excellent in our case. Food was really great, Had the angus burger and chicken Caesar Salad and it all exceeded our expectations. The dessert (Crème Brûlée) tasted as you would expect maybe they could have been more generous with portion This is probably one of the best high end restaurants in Helsinki, great atmosphere and the restaurant in general looks really good from inside. The price tag is high, However, the service and food quality did compensate and deliver.

What a mediocre experience it was! For the 45 euros asked, better go get yourself the fanciest cake form the fanciest bakery and have an afternoon tea party in the park across the road. Afternoon tea: I have never had such a distastefully arranged menu. Savory parts were quite good. But when it came down to ‘dessert’... Overwhelmingly sweet and simply boring. Are a macaron and a white-chocolate-jam-diabetes lollipop the best an expensive well-known restaurant can come up with? The menu was unbalanced, I couldn’t finish the sweets. And I have a sweet tooth! Great selection of teas! The tea was served in the veranda area, which is not heated while summer in Finland is yet to come. Opened from both sides doors anticipated a stiff breeze. Seated in the shadow, it felt like we were not welcomed to stay there long. Tables on the veranda were small, and it was hard to navigate through the tier stand, cups, plates, vases and pots, all scattered on the poor joined in despair tables. Service was friendly, although didn’t speak a word of English.

Delightful. There really is only one five star hotel in Finland, the Kämp. The restaurant, Brasserie, is definitely equal in quality. The friendly and very polite staff, service, food, atmosphere, location, surroundings... Everything is simply top class, every time and for every customer!

Had the afternoon tea experience at Kamp Bistro and unfortunately the experience was just average. First, the service was not the most pleasant and did not seem very organised. I had to wait a lot to be installed as staff was getting tables ready. During the service, though the brasserie was not overly full, staff seem busy and confused and a table asked a question to a waiter who responded he was too busy to help. The quality of the food served was passable, it seemed pre-made or from frozen.

Super fine dining in this iconic restaurant in Helsinki. The service is superb the food is well prepared with some local tastes and chef's touch. Try the salmon soup, it is ideal. Must book a table in advance.

Make sure not to order the Tiramisu. Firstly it’s nothing at all like tiramisu, secondly it doesn’t taste good in any imaginable way. 3 of us ordered it and none of us liked it. We didn’t even finish it. But it did look good though 😉

Beautiful location with iconic interior design. Good quality food but not exceptional. In the meanwhile the service was superb. A bit more on the pricier side but you are paying for the location.
