Brasserie Kasteel Beersel

The building looks inviting from the outside, the interior doesn’t disappoint. The warm comfortable layout had a good amount of tables, but would recommend getting a reservation, as it was well patronized. I tried the Charles Quint beer which was delicious, and the food was really good my seafood salad was amazing.

Unfortunately, I was not satisfied with our visit to this restaurant. The fries were extremely dry and hard, and my husband’s burger was also very disappointing — it had no flavor, tasted completely processed, and the meat was of very poor quality. The salad was extremely basic and lacked any creativity. Most of the fries on our plates were clearly over-fried and unpleasant to eat. No one brought us a menu when we sat down. After repeatedly signaling for help, someone finally came to take our order, even though we still hadn’t received the menu. No one came to check on us or ask if we needed anything else. Overall, the service was unprofessional and the food quality was far below expectations. Definitely not a place we would return to.

I had an Aperol spritz, an entrecôte, and red wine, and tiramisu as dessert. Everything was delicious except the tiramisu. It could have been way better.

Fabulous place, looks so authentic from the outside and so cozy inside, especially during Christmas. Absolutely stunning. Ordered the only available soup made of forest mushrooms - what a delight it was, even though I don't like mushrooms :) Delicious frites and mulled wine. It is a place that makes you feel so good, a memorable atmosphere. Loved it

Excellent. Located in a relaxed area next to the Beersel castle with parking next to the restaurant. Decoration is nice with a formal setting, suitable for dates or business dinner. Food is great quality, tried the “Osso buco” and I fully recommend it. Price according to the above mentioned: over average but you can have a good dinner for 30-40€

In short: very good! LOCATION. This beautiful restaurant is located just close to the castle of Berseel. You can access to the castle paying a ticket and it’s a must! (Open till 18.00). Well, the restaurant is the best place to visit for a lunch or dinner. Large area outside, or indoor. A lot of particular details and a reach menu. I took the carbonnade “home made”: very good SERVICE. great. PRICE. Adequate

Cosy place to have brunch, green area next to Beersel castle, convenient car park. The food is good with very good meats, service friendly with good mood. Enjoy your talking and take your time to have food. Probably better to book before, the place is usually busy.

The food was delicious and the ambience was comfortable & friendly. We didn't have a reservation but the owner found us a table in a full restaurant and we were not disappointed.

Decent enough place. Nice interior, although a bit cold. The ribs were good, stoofvlees a bit less so. I'd guess it's a good enough spot for a bite or a drink when visiting the castle.
