Absolutely loved it! We took bone marrow dish and beef tartare - very fresh quality meet nicely seasoned. Service - slaps! Would recommend any time when in Reims.

Very nice restaurant in Reims. Great location: in front of the market and 2 steps away from Porte du champs de Mars. Big terrasse outside and nicely decorated inside with from sofas offering some privacy and quietness. Great service! Very attentive and funny waiters. The food was delicious, we enjoyed every single dish. Very local dish and variety of choices.

Such wonderful service and food. Absolutely blown away by the Paris Brest Dessert with hazelnut, a must try!

If this is French food, next time I'll keep on driving. We had high hopes because the reviews were great, but the experience was an even greater abomination. An arrogant, rubbish snob of a waiter took our order. He was incredibly pushy, making it almost impossible to order what we really wanted. He was snappy, grumpy and simply not amicable. He disrespected us all evening by ignoring us etc. and when we asked for mayonaise, he rolled his eyes and showed us the number of the MacDonalds. We did get the mayo, but it was watery and flavourless. The salmon was good, but the accompanying risotto did not include the sorrel nor the lemon-dillsauce. It tasted, softly put, like rice that had been left soaking in the drain for a few days; horrible. The meat was good, but that was the only good thing about the experience. We payed our bill at a different waiter who was really nice, but if you see a man named Alexandre, run the other way and don't stop until you're at a lovely restaurant in the opposite street. Literally any other restaurant would be fine unless you're looking forward to being absolutely astonished by the off-putting experience.

I had an absolutely delicious dinner at this historic brasserie. It's been serving french food since 1925 and you can see why it's still around. My steak was perfectly cooked, and I'm not sure I've ever eaten a better dessert than the Paris Brest I had. Staff were uniformly helpful. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a typical french experience. I'm glad I booked in advance as it is a must for such a popular location.

Google
Lovely brasserie with hearty food and very friendly service. It was my first proper meal of the day after a few champagne tasting sessions. So I shamelessly orders monkfish & chips and it totally hit the spot! The œuf parfait was delicious as well. Portions are quite large so watch out for over ordering (I know I did)

Let's take a moment to appreciate the oysters here, they were delicious! We had a few other appetizers as well, if you are in the area definitely worth the visit. The service was great, our server was a lovely french man that made you feel so welcome!

Yelp
This restaurant was recommended by the receptionist at Roderer, and rightly so. The ambiance, thé attentive wait staff, and the flair are comparable to a fine champagne house. I took the waiter's recommendation for the pouilly fuisse and nibbled on an amuse bouche while perusing thé menu. Perfect - crisp and refreshing. I settled on the fixed price menu and was delighted with my selection. First course was lox with a beet salad. Perfectly cubed beets lightly dressed and nice pieces of salmon. For the main, I had pork with wild rice. The plate was hot and the portion was generous. Delicious. Dessert - a pistachio eclair. Wildly good. Sometimes the pastry can be slightly soggy - this one crackled under the fork. The filling was plentiful and the tartness of the fresh raspberries paired well. A delightful meal.

Yelp
We made reservations for 7pm and the resto was rather empty. However, soon enough it was filled up and almost every table was occupied. The resto is " large " in that there is a downstairs and an upstairs seating area. We were seated upstairs. The styling and decor are quite nice and they added to the ambiance. The staff downstairs knew English. The wait staff assigned to our table did not. However, her English was much better than my high school French by leaps and bounds! Needless to say, we were able to order our food. We ordered the 3-course menu, but started with oysters. The oysters were the star of the meal followed by the chicken. I really liked the soup - it tasted like butternut squash but I'm not sure. Enjoy!

Yelp
So much fun with French locals! It's simply food entertainment! Table side serving of filet of sole is worth the price of admission LOL! There is no cost to entry but you will need a reservation. Service is wonderfully charming and English is understood with a smile. Ambiance is? Well, it is old school and in keeping with the decor and wait staff. Just do it! Laugh eat and drink then start over again with dessert! Magnificent culinary experience.

Yelp
Such a disappointment. My first course was an escargot mushroom poele that was very tasty but then downhill. The veal was with no flavor and the vegetables were for certain frozen and no flavor. Really shocking for France to be honest. Of course the bread butter and cheese were delicious as you can't ruin that in France. The servers were super nice.

Yelp
Very cute quaint spot in Reims, France. The prices aren't too bad. I chose to get the Restaurant Formula which is basically an appetizer, entree, dessert, coffee and wine or beer for 22€. Not bad at all. The food was pretty good. This was my first time having French cuisine so I didn't really know what to expect. I got boiled egg tartare which is basically egg salad. Tasted great with bread (you have to ask for it). My entree was pork with peppers and rice. It had great flavor the pork was just a little dry. We didn't have a reservation so they seated us as this tall table with stools right beside the bathroom. Every time someone went into the restroom the door would hit my chair. So what I'm trying to say is make a reservation before going. If they are booked don't stress it there are more restaurants right near by. Glad I tried it but I probably won't go back while I'm in Reims.

Yelp
A decent Reims brasserie. Friendly service and nice food. They accommodated our starving 8-man group splendidly. Good meat, good fish, good wine.

Yelp
This is the kind of restaurant we expected to find in abundance when we moved to France but have found far too few of. The food is excellent if traditional, and the decor is upscale if dated. http://www.cesamericains.com/guide/france/reims/brasserie-boulingrin-reims

Yelp
If you are visiting Reims and are looking for a local, traditional and exquisite French meal then this is NOT the place. I am surprised at the good reviews of this restaurant because I myself decided to try it based on their reviews. The food was all very subpar and the waiters took advantage of the fact that we did not speak French and gave us higher priced menu items as well as desserts we did not ask for. When coming to France I always look forward to the desserts because it's the best part, but here the desserts were the worst part.

Yelp
Worst restaurant that we ate at in two weeks in France. The food was poor quality and overall really bland. The atmosphere was not good - reminded me of a Red Robbins in North America. And there service was too bad to even talk about There are SO many better restaurants to choose from than this one
