Yelp
This restaurant was recommended by the receptionist at Roderer, and rightly so. The ambiance, thé attentive wait staff, and the flair are comparable to a fine champagne house.
I took the waiter's recommendation for the pouilly fuisse and nibbled on an amuse bouche while perusing thé menu. Perfect - crisp and refreshing. I settled on the fixed price menu and was delighted with my selection.
First course was lox with a beet salad. Perfectly cubed beets lightly dressed and nice pieces of salmon.
For the main, I had pork with wild rice. The plate was hot and the portion was generous. Delicious.
Dessert - a pistachio eclair. Wildly good. Sometimes the pastry can be slightly soggy - this one crackled under the fork. The filling was plentiful and the tartness of the fresh raspberries paired well.
A delightful meal.
