Brasserie Le Commerce

An amazing place set in the streets of Cherbourg-en-Cotentin. Friendly and prompt service on arrival with plenty of seating. Couldn't recommend this place enough, we came here on three occasions as it was that good. On every visit the restaurant was busy but with plenty of seating there was always somewhere to sit. The food was delicious and served quickly and hot with plenty of choices to choose from.

Enjoyed a business dinner at Brasserie le commerce. Extremely welcoming staff, very happy with the hospitality. Then, dishes with a good variety of options and tasty. I suggest the strawberry wine if you like it sweet. It was amazing food experience in general 🤩 The prices are good as well! You should stop by and give it a try!

Nice place for lunch. 4 drinks 2 mains and 2 starters €42. Steak hache was good but rare means rare in france so be aware. Very quick service with English speaking staff

Got food poisoning here. I'm pregnant, ended up in the ER with a fever the next day. I got antibiotics so the possible listeria is being treated. Getting tested for toxoplasmosis, although I think the chances are lower as I am 99% sure this chicken was frozen before. It's chicken in the photo. It was basically raw.

I had a decent meal at this busy restaurant. Even if it was full, the service was fast.

The restaurant we meant to go was closed, and looking for an alternative, I found the Brasserie le commerce with Google maps. It was a bit of a drive to get there, but it was all worth it. We have been made very welcome by friendly staff, and in spite of my limited French, we could order an excellent meal. Delicious food, lovely staff, great atmosphere. Thank you so much.

If you are looking to experience a amazing restaurant in Cherbourg, France. I highly recommend Le Commerce. Upon entering I was made feel very welcome. The Pâté , Steak& Chips, Dessert and Coffee were amazing! Le Commerce is a must visit if you love a great Steak! The restaurant is very clean and has very clean rest rooms. The staff are all very professional and genuinely care about their customers. It should be noted I am originally from Dublin, Ireland, lived in the United States for over thirty years and served with the United States Marines all over the world. I definitely know a great Restaurant from all my travels and life experiences. You definitely won't be disappointed. I definitely will return in the near future. Le Commerce in Cherbourg , France rates five stars and more!

Great service, terrific value for the price, and the biggest creme brûlée I've ever had. The steak tartare is the best!
