We booked a table here on a Wednesday, a day when many restaurants in the surrounding area appear to be closed. As an earlier review mentioned: The menu is very large, which could be a red flag. Happily this was not the case at Le Pelerin: All the dishes we tried were lovely and tasty. In addition I was very pleased with the pace of the meal. That is: After ordering the starter was prepared very quickly and there was not an inordinately long wait between courses. Which brings me to the last point: At some restaurants you just feel welcomed. And that was definitely the case at Le Pelerin. The wait staff was friendly and relaxed and very attentive, something which I always appreciate a lot. So in all this restaurant is definitely worth a visit or two, and perhaps even a detour in your usual travel route. I look forward to returning again!
