Brasss Hotel Suites

Great suite well decorated with quirky pieces. Had very nice steam room in shower with eucalyptus. Mini bar and extras in hall included. Staff were very good and gave us great information re Haarlem and restaurants. We really enjoyed our time in this quaint village. Would recommend.

Well located, spacious and comfortable. Furnished with a complimentary mini nar, snacks on hallway landings and small outdoor terraces on each floor. Effective elevator to take bags up and down in this historic house. Excellent breakfast (served us as lunch too!) and copious coffee and tea available in room. Good water pressure and generous towels. Highly recommend

Amazing hotel. Beautiful rooms,great staff,amazing rain shower. Great location welcoming atmosphere and very comfortable. When you go to Haarlem and need a modern boutique hotel, this is your place. Easy walking distance from covered parking. A wonderful hotel

Great hotel in the heart of Haarlem. My room looked beautiful and had some nice touches like the free mini bar. Really nice location and decor and the staff are fantastic. The only downside is the very steep stairs to the rooms, but that is typical of old Dutch buildings. I had a comfortable stay and would love to visit again.

We had an EXCEPTIONAL experience staying at the Brasss Hotel. We had mold in our Airbnb and had to move out. We were wondering Haarlem to find a place to stay with my wife and 2 year old son. We stumbled into Brasss and they were so accommodating. We needed to move right in for 2 weeks during the summer of 2024. I couldn’t believe how kind they were trying to find a way to accommodate for such a last minute long stay. We spent half our time in the biggest, best, penthouse sweet, I forgot the name. We absolutely loved it. So fun sitting at the little nook table looking out the window. They kept each floor stocked with goodies and water everyday. Filled our mini fridge with what we wanted. Amazing treats and coffee in the lobby. The staff was always extremely kind, I felt bad at first that I had a high energy toddler in such a nice place, but quickly realized they loved Maverick and he brought joy to them in our (many) visits daily to get chocolates, fruit, and coffee. Second half of our stay was in an apartment. It was less grand than the suite, but more practical for a family with separate rooms and a kitchen. Location is a dream. High quality. Just a truly unforgettable stay, we are so thankful. Leila the manager went above and beyond for us in several ways. She truly has a heart of gold.

Reception and rooms are in a separate building next door. Elevator is for one person only, it looks more like a cargo elevator, but ok it serves the purpose. Rooms are within a remodeled old building, dangerous entrance from the hallway to the room with a not well marked uneven step. The toilet is in a tiny room with no heater and no sink next to it. The sink is located next to the bed (weird). Shower Ok, beds ok. Big disadvantage: The bedroom smelled like sewage. Expensive!

Good location , people are very friendly , good price/quality balance |Attention for people who are not very good to walk well ... stairs are quite steep going up/down .|Haarlem is a very nice 'little' town to visit !!! Especially when the weather is nice , a lot of nice outside pubs / resto's

During our stay in Suite Octopus, we encountered several disappointing experiences that fell short of our expectations. The jacuzzi was particularly underwhelming, offering only a few sporadic bubbles that failed to create a truly relaxing atmosphere. Additionally, the rain shower was in dire need of descaling, which hindered its performance and left us wanting more from what should have been a luxurious feature. While the initial appearance of the room's decor was striking, it ultimately did not meet the high standards we had anticipated.||In terms of cleanliness, the standards were far from satisfactory. We discovered dirty glasses left in the cabinet and debris under the sofa, which contributed to an overall negative impression of the suite. It is disheartening to note that the attention to detail in housekeeping was lacking, as one would expect a higher level of thoroughness in a suite of this caliber. Such oversights significantly detracted from our overall experience and raised concerns about the management's commitment to maintaining quality.||One of the most significant drawbacks of our stay was the noise from the nearby cafes. Despite our efforts to mitigate the disturbance with earplugs, achieving a restful night's sleep proved nearly impossible due to the incessant sounds. This aspect greatly impacted our enjoyment of the suite and led us to conclude that we could not recommend it to others. It is crucial for prospective guests to be aware of these issues before making a reservation, as they could significantly affect their experience.
