Bratislava Castle

Beautiful landmark in the heart of Bratislava. It's a short way up to get there, doable for most people. The castle is beautiful with many view points of the Danube and the city. Also has beautiful gardens. Great for chilling and watching the sunset!

We visited Bratislava Castle on a rainy day. So could not cover the Baroque gardens unfortunately. Both the interior and the exterior is very well maintained and clean. We came back during sunset to get some excellent evening & blue hour shots. Entry to the museum is covered by the Bratislava card.

Beautifully restored castle. There's tours here and great informational rooms here. Price is decent too. Best to book in advance so you don't get caught up in queues. Very scenic from the front of the castle looking at the Danube River. Would recommend as a must see attraction when visiting Bratislava!!

Castle is good but not like indian castle in comparison to size and height. 8 euro ticket is quite high. View from top of the castle is very good. See my attached pics.

One of the best attractions in the city, it's a wonderful piece of history. It was restored recently and has a very appealing look. It's large and clean and brings an excellent view of the city. There is a great museum inside, which contains a lot of historical information. This is a good place to spend one relaxing day.

I didn't go in but it's definitely worth walking around and going to the garden. It gets busy pretty quickly so if you're looking for uninterrupted photos go as early as you can to avoid the crowds. Great spot to just grab a bench enjoy the views and walk around.

A must see attraction of Bratislava. The easiest access is by taking the bus No 47 because it is quite steep going on foot. Do not miss the north tower with panoramic view.

We did the self guided tour - It was enjoyable and many of the items had English translations. A lot of work has been put into the restoration of the castle. You can check your coat in before touring and there are places you can lock up your items you do not want to carry. We went all the way to the top to see the city! There are alot of steps so if you do not like height.... Well worth the 14 euros per person. In the future, an audio tour option would be nice to tell the story.
