Brauereischänke „Alte Brauerei“

What a great place! If you like good food (and old German industrial and brand signs), then this is the place for you! The dishes served in a pan and the roast pork are delicious. We arrived without a reservation and were served warmly. Afterwards, we went to the Christmas market. There's something for everyone there, whether you're looking for drinks or entertainment for the kids. Wonderful! We'll be back!

Really lovely christmas market. One of the best in the region i could say... On the other hand ...the food was inferior for the price paid. But the beer delicious.

Great location, delicious food, good beer! We were there for lunch with a large group (about 40 people). The brewery is a bit out of the way, there are great hiking trails around it. The waitresses were very courteous and friendly. The large group was served quickly and the food came at the same time. The food was very tasty, my colleagues with other dishes were also consistently satisfied. Their own beer also tastes very good. The ambience of the location is really nice, both inside and outside. Definitely worth a visit, recommendation!

A very special place, so if you're in the region - drop by! Especially if it's close to Christmas! Food is average and a little bit on the expensive side, but it's also super popular. The staff are very friendly, and make a great effort communicating in English, which is good as the menu is German only. They have a few interesting dishes I've never seen before, and portions are generous. We were lucky to get a table on a Sunday in mid-November only because we arrived before lunch, so book a table or arrive outside peak hours.

Excellent German Beer Garden We were a group of 15. Lovely walk from Kalenborn to the restaurant, which is located just before Kasbach. As it is the festive seson, we had a reservation and had to order ahead Our table was ready. The food was well prepared and well presented and delicious. The restaurant is spacious, very warm, comfortable and well decorated. The meal was reasonably priced The staff are multilingual, very attentive and prompt. A visit to the adjacent Christmas market stalls and presentations is essential. The scenic train stops at the restaurant and you can ride to Kasbach or Linz am Rhine or up to Kalenborn. The restaurant is popular especially during the festive season and a reservation may be required. The walk and the restaurant are Highly recommended.

We enjoyed a great Saturday lunch at the restaurant, we got 3 different schnitzels and the "Haxe" the food was tasty the salads were great and our only problem was that the fries were a bit too salty.
