Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Store

We loved it. The prices were very reasonable, less than the other chain ice cream shops. The selections were great. The ice cream tasted great. They even have a "no sugar" added flavor. You can't go wrong here.

These employees deserve a huge raise. We felt bad about arriving 30 minutes before closing to get an ice-cream, but a bus load of over 40 college students arrived while we were being served and all were ordering food.

Braum's is about how you would expect it to be. It's fast food; burgers and ice cream. It's a little frustrating to buy an ice cream cone through the drive-thru, because mine started to melt and drip all over the place, but what can you really expect from ice cream on a bright, sun-shiny, 95 degree day? The burgers are pretty decent. Nothing spectacular, but still pretty good for fast food. I'm always a fan of the bag of burgers, too. Five cheeseburgers for about $8? Not bad, even if they're just standard, simple cheeseburgers. Go for that if you're really hungry; you won't be disappointed. It also won't be the best thing you could buy, but it's a solid choice if you're on a budget.

It's not very good, unfortunately. Burgers were dry and tasteless. The place was dirty and messy, and servers were more interested in feeding themselves rather than customers. Had to wait, even though no one else was in line, and not even a Hello was given when someone finally showed up to take our order.

First they tried to hand me melted cones, I ordered two scoops and they only gave me one at 3 dollars. Then when we got on cones they were only 2/3 full at regular price plus it was completely melting on the spot. Plus the cone was so old that it melted in our hand that is the cone and it tasted like cardboard.This is what they said, "" this is our policy". If this is Brauhms policy then they need to re-establish new policy so people get what they paid for. I do not recommend this Brauhms to anyone, and will tell everyone I know to stay away from this restaurant at all cost. This shouldn't happen to retired folks like us. Because we can only afford a cone for a quick respite of a bad day. We used to come in once a week and order dinner for a night out, believe me when I say that is over also.

Today the fresh market cashier was not attentive. She was watching videos on her phone. She did not know how to properly bag groceries and over filled my bags. I had to lighten them my self and still worried the bottom would break on paper bags. As soon as she finished , she darted out the front door with phone still blaring videos and vape in hand. I guess she needed a hit off her vape as she went to retrieve the one cart in the rack outside. 05/13/2025 @ 11:30 am.

My mother used to love to get a meal at Braum's. She passed in 2014. I'm in town and go to Braum's for lunch, out of sentimentality. What a disappointment! The store was filthy and not only was there no customer service, the workers were downright rude! If I could give 0 stars I would.

Great spot to stop especially if you are pulling a camper. They have parking for campers/trailers and easy to get in and out

We were visiting Coffeyville, and decided to stop in and try Braum's. OMG, this place is amazing! The employees were so friendly, and the ice cream was some of the best I ever had. I couldn't get over how affordable the prices are here. I am definitely looking forward to trying their burgers. We will be stopping by every day until we leave to go back home.

Drive through service was spotty. I tried to get clarity on a few food items and it seemed the person was extremely distracted because I had to repeat myself many times. Ordered #1 which I thought had tomatoes and lettuce on the burger but it was a two party sandwich with cheese. A bit on the greasy side as well. The burger had good flavor and the crinkle fries were typical fast food served potatoes. Chocolate shake was thick and pretty good.

So, it's a Braum's. That said, the store itself was clean, the staff really friendly and everything looked clean and taken care of. We only got ice cream and a couple of drinks, so can't comment on the food, but of all the Braum's I've been to, this seemed to be one of the better ones.

There's not many braums locations in the us, so when you find one--go! Great ice cream. Cheap prices. Friendly employees. There's a reason this place is always busy.

Absolutely disgusting point blank period. I ordered a straw berry milkshake and I had literal peanuts in it. I could have been deathly allergic to peanuts and that's a EXTREME health code violation. Also when ever you order a shake with any extra such as nuts or whatever they will scrape what's left on the counter onto your drink. So very fucking disgusting and this place is gross and dirty asf.

Great service , very friendly employees especially the managers. Ive seen some ugly customers come at them and handle them like pros.

When you have to park your drive through when you don't have food ok I get it but when there are two cars that where behind you that also got parked and they were served before then left and you still had to wait. The food was cold and nothing is fresh. On top of that the lady who came to bring us out food had a dirty apron on.

I've been to many different braums locations and this one is not as good as the others. My chicken strip basket was cold and was like eating a grade school lunch. It even had a pudding cup that you buy in the store in it...felt like my mom packed my lunch. Their only saving grace is their shakes. Won't be back to this location

This was my first time at Braums . I personally thought my burger had no flavor. My husband asked for bacon and it was on the side. It in the burger. I'll give it another try. The ice cream was great However the second time I went for ice cream the girl working the counter was rude. The girl didn't acknowledge me and served the people after me first while we were look in at rhe iccraam Davies and waiting door her attention. Also the second time the ice cream cone was not as much ice cream as the first time we went. The inconsistency of what one scoop of ice cream is was pretty disappointing. My two year olds one scoop cone had more ice cream than mine. The market is rudimentary and priced slightly higher that a regular market.

Braums store #135 in Coffeyville KS is not up to par as the other Braums I have been to OK, KS, MO. I fault this store, #135, higher than others in the area due to: Poor employee training, they do not pay attention to order or the price of the items they are ringing up. Many times it takes a very charismatic self-start type of employee to even ask if they can help otherwise they just stand there looking lost. Managers' attitudes sub-par. While thanking them for assistance I was ignored and not looked at like I wasn't there. I perceived the mentality of take-it or leave-it not really showing concern for customers and brushed off just to make another sale which didn't portray or develop a good customer rapport. Other customers saw it and I nodded for them to go ahead. The $5 guarantee is open to interpretation. They presented me a receipt but with items at an improper price. After driving 7 miles back to the store and advising if the issue best they could do is give me a product refund for their mistake and ring it up at the proper price. Examples of recent events: Ringing up discount items at full price Scales at produce side are off vs the scales at checkout (off by .04 # ) Customer no-service to correct the issue, by far they go out of their wait not to attend to the customer with an issue and only attend to the issue at hand not offering to make it up to the customer for their wasted time or trouble. I say this as being a former employee of the Braums' family when times were better and service outstanding. Today' experience and customer relationship are not in accordance with training or policy guidelines of the establishment. (** Also a note on accuracy and reporting, as I'm doing Q/A reviews on things, Yelp instead of trying to use the internet service Provider location and misreport something why not just ask your reviewers for their general location? )

These places crack me up. We don't have any of these in Kansas City, but they seem to have them everywhere between south Kansas and Texas. It's a burger, fries, shake joint with groceries. The food is OK. It's cheap. This one here in Coffeyville seems to be a gathering place for a lot of locals. And it's really one of the only places open on Sundays. Any time we're on a road trip, we stop at one. Wife loves dipping the fries in the chocolate shake.
