Google
Wonderful place for traditional German food! The beer is sublime, got to sample first which was nice! Lol. Average price but you get plenty, Ox in dark beer sauce was lush, but we couldn't finish it, sorry!

Google
Cosy place, fast service and great beers Although, their food is rather pricy. More than 18€ for a Wiener schnitzel, and then not even veal but pork, that’s close to a crime At least beers for less than 5€

What a little jewelry in Berchtesgarden. Had a tough time finding a place for dinner, other than the hotels with their sometimes strange menu. Enjoyed friendly service ,a cold one and a great Bavarian meal.

Google
One of the best German food ive had so far. Portion was right. Not too big. Seasoned perfectly as food was not too salty as normally German food would be. Fried chicken was half of chicken and crispy outside and moist inside. Nice restaurant and quite big too. Service was nice though they were busy

Google
No reservation we tried a couple of the beers and had the ox sirloin and the ox in beer sauce delicious! Service was good and attentive.

Foods were delicious, especially our first try for the local food, Bavaria white sausage, the special-made sauce was what made it so delicious! Fried fish was also nice and recommended. Our waitress was kind and spoke really good English. As a whole, it’s a great dinner experience!

Google
Good beer. Pretty average after that. Food was lukewarm as was service. Beef soup had NO beef in it. Basically broth with two dumplings. Veal sausage was tasty but barely warm. Floating in luke warm water.

Google
Looks very good, very 'German Brewery' feeling, with biergarten. Beer is great! We had 2 flammkuchen which were a bit too salty for our taste (maybe it was thr type of cheese), but pretty good nevertheless. Service was fine.

Yelp
Perfect German meal on the patio. Great service, great food. Bratwurst, käsespätzel, pretzels and beer!

Yelp
After being stationed in this wonderful town from 1972-1974 I moved back to work the mountain with AFRC as a civilian ski instruction and ended up after short winter seasons of teaching skiing in owning a bar and bistro. When I moved in 1996 I get back all the time as my wife's family is here. The Braustruberl is one of my favorites because its atmosphere and food is perfect for any seasonal visit. You can't go wrong by visiting.

Yelp
Great beer and awesome veal sausage and pretzel combo. I love that they serve the pretzels in a little basket. If you get the house special sausage do not get freaked out like i did when it was boiled instead of fried (but thats the case in most bavarian restaurants not just here)...it tastes delicious! Good service and nice atmosphere!

Yelp
Great little place. Decorations are cute and the place has a Bavarian feel to it. Staff was friendly and attentive. It was a perfect lunch stop.

Yelp
This is by far one of the best places to eat. Really enjoyed everything, one thing that amazes me still is when people write a review they have to say " No one speaks English here!" I want to ask. "Where the hell do you think you are?" It's Germany people THEY SPEAK GERMAN! We are not in the US, you are in GERMANY! DUH! I grew up going to this place when I was younger and visiting family in Germany. I like that they have good food, and good prices, you cannot go wrong.

Yelp
Of all the places we ate in Berchtesgaden this was probably my favorite. Some other reviewers made the comment that nobody spoke English, but our waiter did in fact speak English, and also gave us English menu's. This restaurant has a really cool little outdoor beer garden with wooden tables, and a great atmosphere. The food was delicious, and had a decent price tag as well. The Beer was fantastic, and had some of the best weis beer of the trip. Overall I would be sure to eat here again if ever in Berchtesgaden.

Yelp
No one speaks English here. It was impossible to read the menu for us not knowing any German. We decided to go to the counter to order which seems to be the norm here. I let them know I wanted something other than pork using a translating app. The lady ran to the back and got me a special plate of beef (goulash I think). All of the food is absolutely delicious. I tried my friends chicken leg. The seasoning was perfect and tasty. The beef was tender and juicy. The scalloped potatoes were also great. The pretzels were cheap and good. All food is sold by weight and is about 9€ a plate. We got the Weissbier and it was ice cold. Great find!

Yelp

Yelp
Language barrier aside. Short staff. Sunday after church. Packed house. All this did not matter once we took our first sip of this amazing beer. Proceeded to try .33 of each one on the menu. Food was good. Schnitzel with lemon and potatoes was perfect fit with the beer that went down as smooth as silk.

Yelp
It's a real bavarian restaurant, very typical. The Stuff's are very friendly and fast. They serve the best beer in town and (i think) the best beer in the world.
