Brought my parents here, they absolutely loved it! The hake and pulled pork being their favourites. The service was also amazing, our server was so helpful in giving recommendations. The music was a touch loud but other than that it was perfect.

Went today for the first time and had an amazing experience. Staff are so friendly and helpful and willing to recommend food to us. The food is amazing, delicious with high quality. Definitely will go again.

Brownie points to my date, who picked this place for a pre-movie supper. Warm and friendly service from Flo and the team, all of whom are super knowledgeable about the menu, which is changed daily. Imaginative and beautifully created dishes with an exceptional selection for vegetarian and gluten-free (I’m both). Cosy and intimate. Fancy expanding to Cheltenham?!

extremely friendly staff and delectable food! love the fried cod and prawns. however would skip on the chorizo (too salty) and chicken thigh skewer (too charred for my liking). would be back to try the other tapas!

Great little place. Very cool vibe with lovely friendly and attentive service. Walked by and grabbed a table for 2. Chorizo was nice and spicy. Good squid and very nice tuna and chickpea salad. All very authentic tasting. As others the music's a little loud could go from a 9 to a 7 on the volume control but after a beer or two who cares! 😙

Some very nice food! A few dishes were just okay while others were delicious. Our waitress was friendly but didn’t check up on us at any point once we had our food. Restaurant is lovely. Biggest issue we had was loud 90s pop hits (Will Smith, 50 Cent, etc) playing which wasn’t to our taste, didn’t fit the ambience and was a bit too loud leading to me and my partner not being able to hear each other very well. Later they put on some quieter chilled Spanish music which was a relief. Overall…. A nice meal but not quite amazing.

Bravas is a gem in the heart of Bristol — cosy, vibrant, and always full of flavour. The tapas are beautifully cooked and the atmosphere hits the perfect balance between relaxed and buzzing. A must for anyone who loves honest, delicious Spanish food. 🇪🇸✨

From a Spaniards perspective: They weren’t very friendly once we were wanting to get seated. We felt like an inconvenience to them, took a while to get our order taken down. It felt that the server wasn’t very fussed to serve anyone that day. The portions felt stingy, I know it’s tapas but tapas is not finger sized portions, tapas is quick and easy and cheap to make. So adding some decent tapas sized portion is the minimum. We got some smoked sardine toast with fresh cheese and we got two toasts (that’s okay) but with just half of a sardine on them barely to give them barely any taste. The dish was called smoked sardines, note the plural, we got barely 1 whole sardine between two toasts. The bravas were also chips. What? That deeply upset me given the name of the place is bravas. Bravas are thick potatoes and normally you serve around 200gs of potatoes with a portion, not a single 100g portion and it was just glorified chips not bravas! I am not having that thanks. The atmosphere after all the above didn’t feel good.

Yelp
I was at the restaurant and there was a hair in the food and the waiter told me to suck it up and stuff it and then when I told him to take it back and fix it and make me a new one, I didn't even ask for a refund. He told me to suck his big juicy balls. And 10 year old daughter my five-year-old son and my 14-year-old daughter and my six-year-old son heard this. I went to get a refund to leave with my wife Lisa but the owner told me you can't get a refund because you paid card and there's some sort of difficulty but then when I was leaving, I saw them refunding one of their biggest customers outrageous

Yelp
Excellent in every way. The food: small plates (tapas) - varied, creative, high quality - anchovies in a vinegar base, smoked sardines, iberico cut like steak, cod in a basil sauce, very good cheese selection, especially the blue, etc etc. Big strong cocktails, a dozen different g&t's, young friendly quick service, and a nice spaces w multiple options, outside, in at tables or bar, open to street. Worth multiple visits!

Yelp
The quality of the food served here is amazing, with some interesting combinations. There is a friendly atmosphere, and the prices are very. we can happily say that it was well worth the wait! The place is pretty small, so I'd suggest you book in advance if you don't want to sit at the bar. It's not cramped, it's just not a massive place. We weren't sure what to order, so we had one of everything (bar a few we knew wouldn't be popular with our group). A lot of people probably wonder what the right number is, but we went for about 3 per person and that worked out well. We enjoyed sharing all the dishes rather than picking our own, The best bits for us were the aubergine, chorizo and patatas bravas. Everything was delicious, The staff was very friendly and the food was well cooked with a good twist (patatas bravas a good example of this). We'll definitely return, it was a big hit The prices were extremely reasonable. One of Bristol's best.

Yelp
Only heard good things about this place and we booked in advance. It was very booked up so luckily got a space. My expectations were quiet high and was right to be as it was so good. Went with another couple and sharing all the dishes. Tried lots of different things including chicken livers! But my fav was the alioli butter dip and the fried aburgines. The place was really busy and the staff was really helpful and always around for when u wanted to order another dish considering it was so packed. Lovely evening overall with great food and wine - glad i finally got to try this place!

Yelp
Awesome spot - the food was delicious, reasonably priced, and the place was buzzing. Really fun and cozy spot. Had excellent service even though they were super busy.

Yelp
Not as good as advertised- wait staff works hard but food is sauced and spiced in a funky way

Yelp
There aren't enough adjectives in the English language to explain how much I absolutely love this place and how outstanding the food is! My girlfriend and I went for the second time on Saturday evening and had such a great time. We ordered 5 dishes between us which worked out perfect. We finished everything but just about crammed the last few mouthfuls. The stand out dish for both of us was the fried aubergine & molasses; it was insanely good! Long thin strips of battered aubergine with a sweet molasses sauce drizzled all over. The grilled Iberico pork was also really good. Such a lovely cut of meat that you almost wanted to keep in your mouth rather than chew it! I really liked the Chorizo cooked in cider. It came in small, but different sized sausages. Most tapas restaurants I've been to before have been small cubes that have been quite chewy, but these were really juicy with so much flavour. The food comes our really quickly, so if your after a place to sit and chill for an hour or two, then I'd suggest staggering your order. We sat at the bar which was really nice. The restaurant was really busy with only one or two tables available. It's quite small so with some background music the atmosphere is really casual but buzzy. The drinks menu is really good. I love a GnT and they have a full page of gins and the bar staff were more than happy to give me the low down on each. I had one with a sprig of rosemary in and it was delicious and perfectly refreshing for a nice summers day! Our 5 dishes and 2 drinks came to an extremely reasonable £36. There isn't one thing I can fault Bravas on. Huge fan!

Yelp
I absolutely LOVE tapas and without a shadow of a doubt this is the BEST tapas in Bristol. The tapas is really authentic but some dishes have a UK twist and it works really well. All the dishes are delicious which makes it really difficult to choose, but I strongly recommend trying the Imberico Pork. There is also a fantastic wine and sherry list, which is quite expensive but compliments the food perfectly. There's a good selection of beers too. To top this off they have a lovely selection of cakes and deserts which are also really difficult to choose from. The place is small and booking is a must, but it has a great cozy feel to it. The staff are really helpful and friendly and always happy to recommend and tell you more about the dishes. If you love tapas then go to Bravas!

Yelp
Came for lunch with my girlfriend, despite many of the tables being booked (the reason became clear) they kindly got us a table with an hour and a half slot to eat. Would usually have thought that was ample time to eat and leave but after the first dish I'd wished we'd booked a table ourselves. All the dishes we tried, which are too many to name, were excellent as was the service. At one point we ordered the Tortilla de patatas but were told they were all out, the chef promptly told us he could have a fresh one made within 15 minutes, being that the food was so good what's 15 minutes? 12 minutes later a fresh slab of gorgeous flavour was delivered to our table and it was totally worth it. Can't rate it highly enough but book in advance, during our stay they received several phone calls and were fully booked by 16:45..for a well deserved reason.

Yelp
Outstanding tapas restaurant, that gets everything right! Firstly, the tapas are deliciously authentic, and at the same time they manage to blend in a few local touches such as chorizo in cider. The menu is fairly extensive, the options for vegetarians are good, and prices are very reasonable compared to other tapas bars in the city. Firstly, every single tapas we tried was excellent! Not a single weak dish to be found here, they are all 5/5. It leaves you with a dilemma as to what to order on your next visit. The drinks selection is nice, the house wine is good, and as well as Spanish beers, there are several local Bristol varieties on offer. The simple deserts work well and taste wonderful; The orange and almond cake is perfection, oh and the coffee is good too. :) The atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and friendly. I would personally recommend eating at the bar. I really enjoyed the decor of the place, very contemporary and cool, yet authentic. To summarise, i couldn't recommend this place enough! I will certainly be going back...regularly. ;-)

Yelp
I only visited Bristol for a weekend but out of all the places our friends took us to, this is my favorite. It felt like being back in Spain, in some small and intimate spot. Casual and chill, the staff were extremely accommodating when we arrived their after 10pm. The food was incredible. The sauce that accompanied the tortilla was amazing, and every single dish was superb. Please open a place in London!

Yelp
Went here with 2 girl friends on a Saturday night and it was brilliant. Really small and compact, but such a good atmosphere. The food was very tasty and wine list extensive - all very reasonably priced too. The staff were lovely and so accommodating when we were 10 mins late for our table. Would go back again definitely!
