What a gem! Classic Scottish pub and restaurant. Dark, hard wood, old country feel with traditional beers and whiskey. Fabulous fare, especially the soup! Our server Brooke was fantastic. Eric the manager even checked in with us to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Lava cake and the crème brûlée were to die for! Definitely will return.

Delicious. I was excited to go here because of the scotch eggs and everything lived up to the hype. The kids raved about the potatoe pancakes long after they were gone. The sampler was packed with flavor. The kids menu offered enough variety for picky eaters. Also, the adults kept picking the fries off plates as they were seasoned, crunchy, and moist inside. Apple crisp was demolished. Lava cake only went home because the boy who is never too full for dessert was to full to finish. Service was on point. Plenty of family vibes mixed with long timers at the bar. We got there an half hour after it opened and it was already filling up. Off street free parking.

I ordered the black and blue steak special, served over mashed potatoes with a rich blue cheese cream sauce, while my brother enjoyed the sirloin steak. Our parents enjoyed the fish & chips and needles to say, the dishes were excellent! Our server, Ali, was absolutely amazing, attentive, charismatic, and truly went above and beyond to make sure our experience was perfect. She defines top-tier service. If you haven’t had the chance, do yourself a favor and check out this awesome restaurant!

Stopped in for dinner before the Musikfest concert on 8/9/25. Ordered the corned beef spring rolls, fish and chips, and the chicken Oscar house special. The food, atmosphere, and service were top notch. If we are ever back in the area, we will be back, and we have already recommended this location to several family members.

Hey Scottish themed restaurant. Although they were Scottish specialties on the menu, there were also a wide variety of other options that would satisfy most diners. We went there for a family dinner with eight of us. The service was outstanding. The quality of the food was also excellent. if you look at the picture of the kids menu chicken strips it was enough to satisfy an adult although I can’t pass for 10 anymore. The fish and chips Were battered cod made in the traditional matter. It was welcome to change compared to some restaurants. The chicken Oscar had excellent flavor. Each dish was distinct. There is plenty of indoor dining. I do believe during appropriate weather there is also outdoor seating. Plenty of parking. This is an excellent choice for dining in Hellertown.

Nice little pub. The stew was excellent. My salad was fresh and was loaded with apples and Brie. The potato leek soup tasted like mashed potatoes with broth added, I didn't taste leeks. The portions were generous. Service was fast and friendly. Plenty of parking.

On top of all your Scottish favorites this place also has chicken, steak, seafood, pasta, and pub food. You won't have trouble finding something you like. I started with the Scottish eggs and Scottish nachos. They were both good, but wouldn't order either of them again. For my entree I ordered the Braveheart chicken Oscar. This dish was fantastic! It's made with chicken breast, lump crab, asparagus, mashed potatoes, and lemon butter sauce. The chicken melted in your mouth! Highly recommend. Our server was wonderful. She was friendly, attentive, respectful, and knew the menu very well. I definitely want to come back for the traditional English carvery. This is only available on Sundays.

My husband and I were there today we always stop in when we go to WindCreek. Food as usual delicious we cannot decide what to have so we order lunch then get take out for dinner to take back to New Jersey. I was so impressed with both of the staff that were running the bar ,taking food orders busing tables, these ladies were amazing place was packed neither at any time looked frustrated but always had a huge smile. Although so busy anyone that came in were greeted with a huge smile and welcome. I ran law firms for many years and would say I would hire either of these ladies such wonderful customer service. I don’t normally write reviews but felt I needed to do this one.

Braveheart has become a favorite for my wife and myself. The staff is always friendly and the food has always been consistent. We both enjoys the spinach dip appetizer. My wife loves the salmon, and I find myself bouncing back and forth between the bridies and the Scottish meat pie. The fall/early winter seasonal old fashioned is also probably one of the best old fashioneds I've ever had! The only downside I've ever had was when we showed up for (I can't remember if it was karaoke or trivia) night. The place was so loud that we couldn't talk within our table. We asked to move outside and the staff was very pleasant and accommodating with that (I'm sure many people appreciate those kind of nights, it's just not my thing, thus no reason to remove a star!)

Main street has really been becoming a cultural hub for culinary dining. Braveheart Highland Pub sits amongst the exciting collection of restaurants that have congregated here offering Scottish cuisine and alcoholic beverages to complement. The establishment has a fairly large parking lot along the side stretching towards the back of the establishment. I can see this place being a very popular destination for sports fans with tv's on both sides of the bar as well as ample dining areas including an outdoor patio setup for warmer days. The pub's design is very clean and simple. Exactly what I would picture a European pub to look like. Their bridies immediately caught my attention as it was very similar to a popular lunch item in school and it was very close too! The flakiness on the outside with a nice meaty soft inside doused with thick brown gravy mmm. The peas were perfect and were not mushy at all. Fries were well seasoned but I preferred their mash potatoes. Their fish and chips were interesting and not what I expected at all. The freshness of the fish was questionable or perhaps it was the type of oil or batter used. It gave off a slight burnt after-taste and reminded me very much of funnel cake. The coleslaw was a very welcome pairing to help wash things down. My favorite was their beef stew. The richness of the gravy, the pefectly cooked potatoes/carrots/peas, the consistency of the tenderloin tips with a side of soda pop bread. That bread i could use another helping of! Magnificent for what it is and my expectations were low. Definitely will come back to try the other menu items when I am back in the area.

Awesome food great (Scotch Whisky selection) mega beers on tap and gotta overamp on the food WOW DELICIOUS 4 adults both gals had the diff. COD dishes and loved them me and my buddy both had the Meat Pies!! Delicious, place this on your next gastro pub to visit and enjoy!! PS Brook our server could not do enough for us!

I was in town for a concert and decided to grab something to eat and was interested in this Scottish themed pub. I'm glad I stopped. Service was really good and I loved the atmosphere in the bar. I got the Highland burger, which was great. Super filling and I couldn't even finish it. So tasty. Fries were great too. Good prices. Thank you.

Being from Scotland, my family has been talking about going here for ages. We finally were all able to go for Birthday lunch! Upon entering it really had that great British Pub feel, lots of sports on the tv. People at & around the bar. Families there after church for a bite. Twenty something's there for some beer & wings watching a game. Our waitress was efficient and nice, especially being as crowded as it was. Glad we had a reservation for the twelve of us! None of us could decide what to eat, too many tastes of home to choose from. My son however quickly ordered nachos, chips, calamari & wings for the table, somehow I didn't get a wing but other apps ended up being their shining stars!!! Most of us had "Scottish" food, I'll say we weren't all that impressed. 3 of us had the Scottish Sampler, the pie was good & very similar to an authentic pie, the sausages were awful - didn't even get close - you can get Irish bangers here, not sure why they wouldn't get those, if they don't want to make their own? The Bridie, although the puff pastry was nice, filling was similar to a shredded brisket. Not for me. The shepherds pie, had lovely mashed potato's on top but the meat & veg inside lacked any gravy leaving it dry. Fish and chips were cooked well, needed tons of salt & malt vinegar. Their burgers however were great, the waitress just messed up who wanted what temperature & we had waited so long at that point, two of the guys weren't sending them back. One ate his fully & the other ate the outside edges because it was way too rare. My mum was happy with her sticky toffee pudding & honestly that's what she really wanted. I'd go back for a pie & chips if sitting at the bar, while driving through. Not for great tasting Scottish food however! Some of us came from Brooklyn also. Can't say they'll be back!

We loved everything about our experience, and the food was delicious! The restaurant is very cozy and inviting. The service was excellent, and the choices were unlimited, so there was something for everyone. Portions are generous, and my daughter and I shared the burger and a Caesar salad. The burger was cooked to perfection and was one of the best I have had. This would be a go-to restaurant if I lived in town!

Let's bring this one up to the current. Overall, what's changed here aside from the pricing which is unfortunately a necessary evil in today's hyper-inflated world? Thankfully, not much. The menu is the menu and aside from the occasional special, it hasn't changed in, ??, basically forever. But that's fine because what they do render here is extremely well done and very, very consistent. Our favorites are things like: Guinness Beef Stew Bangers and Mashed Sheperd's Pie Salmon Reuben Burgers Crab Cake Sandwich It also goes without saying that the bar options here are extensive and if you're in the market for any type of adult libations, chances are, you'll find it here and then some. I guess just keep it honest, if there is one minor area that we've never tried nor seen anyone try, it's dessert. Only a few choices and all of them look rather pedestrian. But as I said several years ago: Friendly staff. Good food. Reasonable prices. Good looking restaurant. What's not to like? Best place for food in Hellertown no question.

The food and service were great! I took my toddler and baby there and they were super helpful. Food was cooked perfectly and arrived quickly. Very tasty. It was not super Scottish but it had lovely photos of Scotland around the bar which was nice.

I am a frequent visitor of Brave and have never written a review so here I am! EVERYTHING IS AMAZING. I have never had a bad experience or bad meal or bad drink here. The staff is amazing and accommodating and always on top of their stuff. The vibes are always great and truly one of my favorite places to go to in the valley! If you haven't tried it, please do! Our go to items are the chicken BLT wrap and the Reuben egg rolls!

I am a burger purist, and snob. Everyone can make a burger. Few can make one well. It's either the wrong meat blend, over or under seasoned, and more often than not, way overcooked. That said, this place does it right as far as burgers go. I can't speak to the rest of the food but can tell you that you are doing yourself a disservice if you don't come here and get yourself a medium rare Wallace Burger. Definitely in my top 3 burgers of all time. Well done, Braveheart, well done. I'm a fan. I can't wait to try some other things that you have on your menu.

As one might expect in a Scottish pub, the scotch selection was very solid! Staff was friendly and the baked cod was tasty. It gets really loud during peak times so that's good to be aware of!

Had lunch here with some friends after a memorial service close by. Great food and beer selections. Everybody enjoyed.

Neighborhood Scottish Pub. I didn't know this place exsisted and just walked in on a whim. Really friendly staff. Wide variety of cocktails and selection of Whiskey and Scotch. I had the Braveheart Chicken Oscar which was chicken topped with lump crab. Very flavorful. Decided to splurge and get the bread pudding. I'd like to come back and try some of the Scottish fare.

Never a bad experience! Food and ambiance is awesome and authentic. Service is top-notch. I always get a table for the Hellertown Halloween parade, which is just chaos for these folks. They never miss a beat!

This place is literally my favorite place to get lunch on the weekend. Fabulous burgers, wonderful service and a great beer list.

I've been here several times. It's a wonderful atmosphere with an old world charm. Reminds me of a English pub in the north. They have shepherds pie, fish and chips, great whiskey, good beers and once a year they have stone rock crab. I think that's what it's called. The owner and the owner is business partner (the money man) is a very nice gentleman who is a frequenter of the restaurant and lives locally. And his wife are lovely, but do not claim to be the owner of the restaurant. I don't know who the owner is all I know is he's doppelgänger of the money man. I love this place. On of our favorites in Hellertown! Staff is always attentive and friendly. The food is always phenomenal and convenient. My favorite dish is the baked cod (I always ask for peas ). The house made chips are also addictive with the three sauces. Mat is one of the best bartenders in the area! If you're looking for a great evening out; look no farther! Cheers

Good food, cold Guinness, great atmosphere. Been to the pub for business lunch, family dinner, retirement dinners, and simply to grab a bite and a drink after golf.....

I'm a fan of Guinness beer and this pub has the freshest Guinness that I've had outside of Ireland and the UK. Haggis hush puppies were good, but not enough haggis in them. Scottish eggs, bridies and the rest of the Scottish fare we tried was authentic (and delicious). Great service; great prices. We will definitely go back.

65 miles, was worthwhile journey. The Braveheart Highland Pub is very nice inside and out as are the waitstaff. I'm from Glasgow so if I see a Scots/Irish/British restaurant I'll go. I've not be satisfied with Scots/Irish/British restaurants since the good old days of Kearny NJ back in the 60's & 70's. The Hendrick's Martini's were perfect. I had to have the sampler which was Scotch Pie, Bridie & Banger with mash and peas. I cleaned the plate. They make their own Bridies with Puff Pastry "classic". My American wife had the fish & chips, which were good, but I'm more into meats. The chips are amazing and will have that next time back with the gravy, which is out of this world. Wholeheartedly recommend Braveheart to fellow Scots in Jersey or Philly.

The food was delicious, very comforting and definitely what we wanted for a rainy fall day. Loved the Scottish pie and the mashed potatoes. My cocktail was delicious. The service was very friendly and it looks like you would expect a pub to look like. It can get very noisy.

Ate here a few weeks ago on the way home from a track and field meet, and man were we glad we stopped here. My Dad and I were both starving so we started with an order of the nachos, which were delicious and definitely hit the spot. For my entree I ordered the bangers and mash and that was also really good! On top of the good food, the waitstaff was really quick and attentive. We were in and out really quick, which was nice because it was getting late and it had been a long day. Overall, so happy we decided to stop here, and would definitely come back when given a chance. Highly recommend!

Stopped in before the PSU vs Lehigh match, We Are... They were so busy but the staff and management stepped up!! We were seated at one of the last available spots. The waitress was prompt to take our drink order. It took a little while to place order and get that food which was sort of expected due to the crowd. My son had a burger which he said was great and the fry's, although small, tasted great. I had a chicken salad which was also great but the parts were cut a little too thick. The taste and assembly of ingredients was great. A little to much onion but for the price I would highly recommend the Braveheart!!

I loved this pub honestly. It was unique and the food was good. The only reason for my 4 stars rather than 5 was the service. Don't get me wrong, the service wasn't bad but they were just in a major rush but then no where to be found when we needed something, drink refill, check. But, one thing I can say was we didn't have a reservation and they were able to fit us in. They were also busy and the bartender helped our table after awhile, which was great service! Their tattie scones were good (more of a hash brown consistency)! Especially with the sour cream!

On the main street in Hellertown in Northampton County, right near the border with Bucks County, is the greater Philadelphia area's best Scottish Pub & Restaurant. It's as congenial as any Scottish pub this side of Glascow or Edinburgh and fortunately serves up some of Scotland's best known treats. (To be honest - I wished they served even more Caledonian favorites.) You have a variety of spots to eat and drink here from two bars, two pub dining areas, one dining room, and two outdoor eating spots. Wherever you wind up, you'll encounter some tasty food and drink. I started with a Scottish Bel Haven Ale (Scotland's oldest ale) and it was perfectly poured and as malty & hoppy as I remember. I decided to order the Scottish sampler which consisted of a Scotch Pie (Scottish Meat Pie), a Bridie Pie, Bangers and Mash, and peas (unfortunately not the dish called 'mushy peas' like I usually get in Scotland.) The highlights here were a very tasty Bridie Pie and a delicious well-seasoned Banger. The Scotch Pie was just slightly disappointing as it had obviously been made some time before and lacked a lightness or flakiness which I look for. Of course I asked for HP sauce and I was hoping they might have English mustard as well but they didn't. Still this was a very tasty meal served by a friendly staff. When you are looking for a highland fling, def head to Braveheart Pub in Hellertown.

Great place that we stumbled upon randomly. Husband and friend and I tried to eat at multiple places around the Easton and Bethlehem areas but given it's a Saturday night, everything was booked. Some places weren't even taking walk ins. Stumbled upon this place on Yelp. Hubs called to check availability and they offered to save a table for us. We got seated immediately. Waitress was very friendly and accurate. Very authentic Scottish pub - lots of memorabilia and souvenirs. Ordered a burger well done. It was delicious. Generic bbq sauce and ketchup. Fries were good. Nothing spectacular but a great burger. I won't review on my husband's behalf since I didn't try his food. Friend got a shrimp Caesar salad that looked fantastic that she complimented. They offered a winter cocktail specials menu with most of them being $7-$8. The standard cocktails and martinis are $11 which isn't too bad coming from Jersey.

Great food and a perfect pub atmosphere. Beer selection is always good if you like international Scottish and English beers. We always get the chips and Sheppards pie. You can never go wrong with that!

Food was fine, services less than desirable. Waitress was I Unavailable and totally deacted. Thankfully, the bar tender was aware of the situation. Took care of use. So pathetic. The waitress was more interested In speaking and interested in the bar patrons. So pathetic.

Neighborhood Scottish Pub that is like Hellertown version of Cheers. Friendly and engaging staff, a local hangout, and fun vibe, and that's all before the food. I love the salads and Scottish fare items. All the salads are tasty and i normally take some home because of the size of them. Love the Scotch Eggs and Shepherds Pie as well. If you want a cocktail, the pours are incredibly generous and they've kept prices very reasonable...much lower than other places in the area. We are lucky to live within walking distance, and even get takeout, but much prefer to eat there.

The fish sandwich is a good pescatarian option. There were two pieces of fried fish in the sandwich. I ended up taking one piece out in order to comfortably eat it. The fish was a bit on the greasier side, but tasty when combined with the grilled roll, lettuce, tomato, and plenty of tartar sauce. Absolutely loved the fries - thick cut, warm, crispy, and well salted. Overall, a hearty meal. When picking up the order, I saw a mouth watering meat sandwich come out of the kitchen. So I'm looking forward to trying a meatier dish from this pub next time!

I had the Fish and Chips and they were good. I have never been disappointed here but our waitress Megan was a superstar! It was as if she knew what I needed or what I was thinking before I was ready to ask her. Excellent service! Atmosphere is always good people are friendly.

A great Irish and Scottish pub that does a fantastic shepherds pie, and great beer selection. Come in for a quick burger and beer, or for date night, and you won't be disappointed. A great selection of beer on tap, and the scotch selection is the best in town by far! My favorite, the crab cakes.

Went with work associates for lunch. Food was very good. Two of us had the Bangers and Mash and third had fish and chips. Bangers and mash was very good. Fish and chip looked good too. Service was very good. Was a cool place in downtown. Would go back for sure.

During a recent dining experience at Braveheart my family and I had a solid meal. The have the whole Scottish theme going and the serves where kilts but I must say its done in a tasteful way not skanky like that chain restaurant who does that. The food selection is pretty diverse ranging from traditional Scottish fare like bangers and mash and Shepards pie to standard American food like burgers and hot wings. On our visit two of us had the baked cod and one had the fish and chips. The chef was able to modify the baked cod to eliminate the bread crumbs for my gluten allergy. The cod was excellent, cooked perfectly and the sauce was wonderful. The real treat was the mashed potatoes which were truly homemade and fresh not frozen veggies. Overall a nice dinner. I will say it does get very busy and in turn quite loud so it won't be a quite night out but it will be good food!

Most of of the food is great. Some things(not Scottish items) were lack luster. Staff sometimes seems too busy with their own conversations to be polite.
